  1. Thank you both. And for the lovely comments on YouTube as well.
  2. You can make it so that people are required to pay a lump-sum in order to join, but I'd be wary of doing so. It puts a lot of people off so you genuinely have to be offering incentive, such as big-name stores that give away frequent group-gifts, or very involved RP sims that want to filter out riff-raff.

It does contain some violence, just as a warning. wow wow wow amazing work Ko blown away Thank you, Neal. Bulidng the sets and finding animations actually took as much work as filming, grin. If you're ever overcome with the desire to cover a very-hilly 1/4 homestead with 1m patches of prim-grass, I suggest... well... not!

I have no words to express my admiration for such a fantastic work. 10000000 kudos for you and your team! Val... That means so much to me coming from you, thank you. :} My graphics & net aren't very good -- a bunch of this was filmed on my Macbook -- but I really like the challenge of figuring out how on earth to film things in SL. And yes, I had some help from incredibly patient people. Grin. *hugs you tightly*

  6. You weren't the only one disturbed by his creepiness! And oh, I'm pretty sure we *all* dream of what you would do with 15,000 prims, haha. I'm sneaking you some blueprints for the cute SL cafe-bakery I've always wanted to make, just as one suggestion. I'm more than willing to serve macarons, pan au chocolat, brioche, eclairs and mille-feuilles :}

ETA: I didn't mean to reply to Kobuk -- I forgot the Reply button on the bottom left is flaky. Does Santa accept Christmas wish-lists in NC form? I have to say, you look much less scary than the Santa that Val posted photos with a few pages back. grin.
  8. Thanks Neal. I guess now I have an excuse to stalk your profile?
  9. Revenge: to exact punishment for a wrong. Justice: to exact punishment for a wrong. The first film I've made in a while. ;) Warning disclaimer: contains some violence.
  10. So, generally I'm not intimidating enough to be in this thread, but I just finished this slightly crazy machinima today which completely qualifies me. :} Warning disclaimer: it does contain some violence.
  11. @ Neal: Your trail-ride looks ethereal, and the world needs more cowboys. You look gorgeous. Who makes those horses? @ Val: You should open your house/garden to the public as a christmas destination-- it looks that good. The details inside are fantastic as well, and I don't just mean the cake and cookies. :matte-motes-bashful-cute-2: @ Gail: There aren't enough heart-shaped emotes; pink and cute suits you.
  12. Don't worry, Neal! I've heard that all you have to do to keep this candy thief away is to put a line of brussel-sprouts by your doors and windows. Something in them repels her, and she'll vanish quick. :matte-motes-sick: :matte-motes-bashful-cute-2:
  13. GailBlakeley wrote: So I'm too tough for sweet little Ko now? Just so you know, my glasses *do* come in pink too. Show me? Please? :) I want to see a photo of you in something pink and adorable.
  14. A rare sighting of the skittish Greater Mittened Panda-Crested Ninja Winter-Candy Thief. Note how she uses a combination of eclectic camoflage and fearsome athletic stalking-tactics to take down her prey.
  15. Oh gosh, congratulations as well, Raven!! It's great to find that one special person you want to annoy for the rest of your SLife.
  16. Saraya Starr wrote: Raven1 Short wrote: I'm really curious just how short Ko is.... Aww thanks hon And Ko is adorably short, tiny and petite  There are times when I wanna shrink my avie and have people go aww..ain't she the cutest thing? :smileylol: Awwwh Sara... :matte-motes-bashful-cute-2: *hugs you half to death* Cute rarely reaches the heights of sexy, which you gorgeously are. And Raven, I'm really really really not that short! Tall enough to reach the cookie jar on top of the fridge, fo' sho'.
  17. Also, just to add: this forum isn't always the most active place to talk to other machinimists. There are a couple of really good machinima groups in-world... I haven't been involved in them much in the past year but there's a group called Machinima Mondays which (I assume still) meets weekly, and they have a great group of new and very experienced film-makers.
  18. Wow, such a senseless loss. It could certainly make a dramatic and poignant machinima, Starkhaze. What exactly are you looking for, help-wise? Someone to mentor you on film-basics and/or direct and help build sets, or are you seeking someone to film and edit it, or...? And also, is there an agenda behind the film? As in, is it animal-rights driven etc. or are you just re-telling events in a non-biased way? I'd be interested in helping in some capacity.
  19. See! You have amazing ready-to-use toasting forks on your head (otherwise useful as deadly-but-gorgeous weaponry) while all my curved horns do is shelter my ears from the cruel, incessant teasing of tall people. :smileysad: giggle.
  20. I couldn't agree more with this, Amethyst. If friendships or partnerships do end badly though, I can't stress enough how much I wish people wouldn't default to abandoning their accounts and fleeing into alts. I've seen it create far more problems than it solves, and I think the grid would be much better off if people learned to forgive each other and get on with their own happiness.
  21. Haha, it's true, Dillon. There's nothing quite like SL-building distasters to humble the soul.
  22. Have you tried doing a destination search for Christmas? Two of my favourite winter places are here (for the sleigh ride!) and here (for ice skating). Have fun!
  23. #1: Unless you want to end up three years down the road with 40,000 items all committed stubbornly to memory because the task of sorting them has become too enormous to attempt, organize your inventory? :} #2: Don't link your door to the house. #3: Understand that, while you might arrive in SL wanting to just meet other fun people, ultimately you're going to learn much more about yourself than about anyone else.
  24. GailBlakeley wrote: Thanks babe! And by the way, if it's you fault, you have to pay for it , by keeping me like this . :matte-motes-bashful-cute-2: We'll see how tough-girl you look when I take you gacha-ing tomorrow and you come home wearing cute knitted panda-hats and pink narwal-shaped pet-rocks and mesh gumball machines turned into goldfish bowls and huge origami deer. Wear all the leather and dark-glasses you like, babe; nothing will stop the cuteness.
  25. Saraya Starr wrote: Getting ready for tonight's theme party..lol Epic winter snow-queen magical FAUN Sara? *gets a step-ladder, climbs it, and impales the tips of your tall antlers with marshmallows* You look wonderful.
