Delayed Notifications

I just got several notifications for things posted as far back as Sept. 2020.  Quotes and mentions and one approval of something I posted in October.  WTH?  I've never had this happen before.  Anyone else ever get them delayed?

All of the notices I got were for posts that have been sitting in limbo waiting for approval for months.

On and off. Sometimes I'll log in and in local chat I'll see the tail end of conversations from a few years back. No idea what triggers it and it's too infrequent to pin down.

I received several delayed notifications today, one of them for a post that was hidden November 4th. Gives new meaning to the S/L mantra of soon™ 😏

Didn't get any today but it's happened before. I guess the forum mods only clear out the mod-queue twice a year.

I also got notifications for posts that were posted around the same time. I was like WTH?? and from posts where the topic had been closed. LOL
