Istelathis Posted August 5 Share Posted August 5 (edited) I'm skiing today! Climbing the lift, my virtual friend Kylie is hanging with me for the ride. She is very polite to the lift, always excited to chip in with conversations to the vocal objects of SL. This is my first time skiing here, it is pretty fun actually. Kylie wants to represent France France, USA, I don't care 😋 I'm here to win! We are off, I kind of wish I grabbed the skis, but hey, just imagine them in there! I ended up on my behind, but it was fun. In real life, there is a hurricane swirling around in Florida, and it seems to be tradition to go to a Waffle House, in fact there is an entire hurricane rating based upon if the Waffle house is open or not. It is known as the "Waffle House Index" no joke, it is pretty accurate and funny. Anywho, considering the wind, the rain and other factors (rum 😋) plus the nearest Waffle House from me is about half an hour away, I decided to go to one in SL It is open, we are at index green of the Waffle house I'm looking forward to my Omelet, grits (sugar and butter thank you), OJ, and slices of bread 🤤 Well now, this is realism at its height! Scylla Rhiadra Posted August 5 Share Posted August 5 I have been sooooooo good recently, that I decided to treat myself to a new vintage dress by Sigma (a creator I haven't run across before). The textures are very nice, but interestingly the HUD allows you to load either PBR or BP ones. What I'm not clear about is whether one replaces the other, or if they both coexist. I've got two avies decked out with Teegle though, and I felt there was some features 'missing' (and also a few bugs whilst demoing), so I passed. A fairly simple process, which I of course complicated the heck out of for no good reason. Slapped on some materials to see how it ended up and it's almost decent .. Except when I searched for 'lead window pane' I didn't necessarily want a rainbow cross design (which was promptly inverted, just because!). But it'll do for testing. Also the sprays may not be entirely in the middle of the thing as I may have kind of sort of gotten a measurement wrong. Ohwell.
