What is the average number of alts for a SL user?

Going by the responses the average number of alts is 3.25. If you take into account users with many alts you have an average of 10.

I have 3 alts. Bitterthorn is my primary with all my building / scripting and my more serious long-term roleplay.

Alt 2 is male, used for my male characters in roleplay.

Alt 3 is my short term RP alt and my one I explore with to check new places out, or when I'm not looking at being bothered while online.

1 -  & only because I couldn't remember Horus' log in details when I came back.    I have used him for demo'ing bodies & that is it.

I have one alt for taking pictures, checking out places or testing things that i make, and my first account from 2007 which i only use as piggy bank, and to save a backup of my scripts and stuff.
