Anybody else have an MMORPG background before coming to SL?

I played a few MMORPGs like MapleStory and Elsword before joining Second Life. It was the avatar customization, exploration, and socialization aspect of those games that made me interested in programs like IMVU and Second Life.

Ah memories. Before SL I started out with Flyff, then MapleStory and Aion. SL to me though is something completely different to an mmorpg and I use it alongside games I play because of it.

I came from WoW. It was always the immersive nature and customisation that I enjoyed, not the gameplay.

I was on Everquest and Everquest 2 before joining Second Life. It was the EQ2 instanced apartments that opened my eyes to the possibility of user-designed content and set me on the path to Second Life. I have played several other MMOs since then; Guild Wars, Tera, Dragon Nest, Vindictus, and many others that I've dabbled in.
