Molly Banx
I have been in Second Life using the firestorm viewer for a few years. I am having lag problems to the point of just giving up and logging off within about 15 minutes of log-in. I have an MSI computer that is less than a year old. I am on a new avi/account with very little inventory. I have taken off every hud. I try to walk and it taked 30 seconds before my avi moves. Then when it moves, it moves without walking, just floating. when i log-in, even on my home sim with no other avi's, it takes 10-15 minutes for everything in my low draw range to rez. Once everything does rez, i am still having trouble moving around normally. The problem didn't start when i bought my new computer. I have uninstalled firestorm and reinstalled and still not difference. I have checked and tweaked various settings and have had no luck.

Lindal Kidd
Since the problem isn't unique to the computer you use, or the viewer you use, I suspect that the issue is with your internet connection. See this blog post for things to check: http://blog.nalates.net/2011/10/26/troubleshoot-your-sl-connection/

Go to something like speedtest.net to check your download/upload speed and ping time. You may need to call your internet provider for assistance with this.
Aethelwine
Firestorm has a support page that suggests some things that might help. I can't link to it from my phone but should be fairly easy to find. I would first check you have nothing else running using your Internet speed or resources. Add an exclusion to your antivirus for the directories your viewer is using as a cache and if that doesn' t work run the free malwarebytes scan to check for any malware. ItHadToComeToThis
1. Ensure that firestorm is actually using your dedicated graphics and not the onboard graphics. 2. https://wiki.firestormviewer.org/win10
