The LEGACY mesh body

Anyone get one of these? I have yet to see one in person but I have heard they are really nice. I am very hesitant though due to the price, and the fact they dont have omega.

  They do have a demo though so I may check it out at some point.

I wouldn't get a body from them even if it was free. Because the way it works, everything relies on the TMP servers to function, not on LL servers. Which means that basically, if TMP goes out of business, you're left with a very expensive brick that no longer functions at all. And TMP's customer service record isn't good either; there have been repeated rumours about them trying to fleece as much L$ off their customers as possible before pulling the plug.  And because of this unreliability, few clothing makers are bothering to support it any more.

The body is SO beautiful, that I feel terribly tempted to buy. 

Then I remember that I can't put so much money (yes, poooooor) in a body having a good one (Lara) that costed me half the price, and not having Omega or even half the offer of clothes and developers working on it.

Maybe in future... *sighing*

I agree in general with all you said. I have many "bad tastes" remaining from the past as well as the recent past when they were trying to sell the old body via a notecard campaign?  (really??  I got too many of those).  

 

BUT the part about not being supported seems questionable to me as I am getting lots of review items that include Legacy files.   Honestly I was VERY surprised to see so many brands jumping on the bandwagon (this is for gals -can't say about the male version).

I am surprised that brands are supporting it... as for the male version, I haven't ever seen anything for it, not even from TMP themselves. If they have done a male Legacy body... they may as well have not bothered, lol.

I think many brands are going to jump on what they think is going to be hot or is hot at the moment until it's not..

Hence the phrase,Get it while the gettin's good. hehehehe
