AnnabelleDovelight Posted October 22, 2017 Share Posted October 22, 2017 Hello everyone! I'm sorry if this post is in the wrong spot... but I have been trying to make an old hag avatar. Ya know, the kind of old swamp creeper that waddles around muttering to herself. I've been looking around and trying to find stuff to make her look truly hag-like. She is getting there but it's just not convincing to me... so I am wondering if anyone out there has seen an item or two that might help? At present, she has a lelutka head (I know, bad idea... but I wanted to try and see if I could make it work), with a lumpy robe and old person ao that makes her walk bent over with a staff. She looks boring! Not what I am going for... but I'm struggling so I am here asking for pointers. For illustrative purposes I've put some images below that are what I am shooting for. The overall feel and aesthetic of the character. The first one is of my character as she is now. If anyone has any advice I would be so grateful!! I think the Lelutka heads are too cute and elegant to give the look you want. If you cover her neck anyway, maybe look at male heads? Akeruka has a male head as group gift now. The fee to join is only 150 L, and then an Omega relay, so you can try various skins. I don't know of any items, but if you can adjust the shape of the face, you could make the lips really thin, like old people have. And the corners of the mouth very low, so she looks more like a hag. Further, I don't know if you create your own skin? But if so, you can make the color of your lips and over-all skin more pale, get rid of the blush and even add things like moles, shades and colored spots etc. But I have to say, it already looks quite "old-hagish" in my eyes, would not want to cross your path in a dark alley hehe. Peony Sweetwater Posted October 22, 2017 Share Posted October 22, 2017 When I was making my older avs, I found the LeLutka Simone could get an impressive nose and appropriate face shape for an older look, but the lips were harder to lose their youthful, bee-stung look. I found the Eve head not bad for an older look, but I prefer LeLutka animations & HUD. Also, I could easily apply materials to the LeLutka, which helps with the wrinkled, textured skin. I've been contemplating trying a male head as Marianne suggested, so if you go that way, I'd be interested to see how you do. Only issues I had is that I could not figure out what skin Poama was using to get those awesome wrinkles, and that my lelutka head does not have enough layers. Some of the items recommended I was not able to use because they were Catwa only... but the searches brought about a few more options. Items I had trouble with were the appliers from the Nightmare event and the wrinkly skin that Poema uses. (I love her looks!) I found another skin, this one has more wrinkles though they re not as dark as I would like. Also, another Izzie's applier. I just can't use the applier and the moles at the same time.
