There is no way you can know positively who was doing it unless the person doing it admits it. If flagging was due to malicious intent, file a support ticket and explain all this in detail giving what proof you have. If LL agrees with you, you will be able to relist your items. Considering the person was waiting for me to relist the items and immediately flagged them again. upwards of 20 items that I made and have been selling since 2010. As soon as I got an item relisted, an email came right back in, saying it was flagged. This went on for over an hour. And yes, I filed a ticket. This forum sometimes feels like it is overrun with people who don't understand how things work, in SL or RL, and constantly suspect they are the targets of mass conspiracy. I´m wary of engaging in discussions though, so usually I only post if I happen to know something more on the factual side of things that might help someone. ETA: I wish more people were aware that it´s more important that new people come to, and stay in, SL, even if they post in the wrong subforum, sometimes ask things they could quickly google themselves etc. (I think not every question is a question in all cases, but more a try to connect, to communicate, and I don´t see the harm - it´s not as if this forum was so overfull with posts that it becomes difficult to scan for posts that might interest one.) than it is to scare the ones away that don´t fit one´s personal standards. SL is already a world full of alts, new people with new ideas and less preconceptions and still less disillusions about SL are a good thing for SL and us all, even if there are a few bad peas among them, I´m positive that the majority is quite okay, and the ones you dont´t like, well, don´t read their posts/don´t waste your precious time answering them, don´t engage with them if you meet them in-world, and spend your time discussing with some of the many rather smart and nice people I know are in SL and on this forum, or with yourself, if nobody is smart and nice enough for you. Seems rather easy. I always thought about DejaHo as one of them... :catlol: But overall I don't see so much trolling of new residents, but more like genereal "characters" that aren't really interested in using the forum like others do. It's not their fault that there are some people in this world, who feel they need to cause drama and hurt to others, to make themselves feel "big". LL is helping me. I have nothing against them. Canoro Philipp Posted January 29, 2016 Share Posted January 29, 2016 times change, you either evolve or get extinct. some of us adapted and are still here, the ones unable to adapt disappeared. now, I miss the past too, and wish many times that things were the way they were in the good old days, I miss the people I knew, some disappeared without explanation, having me wonder what happened to them (did they got bored? did they got angry with Linden Lab? with someone in the forums? did they got tired with a group of people here in the forums? did they have an enemy that its purpose was to drive them away? did they die in rl?), I miss their interactions as only them could make (in fact, you are in some memorable interactions), we cannot go back in time. what we can do is to build a better future instead, hopefully more brilliant than the past was, if we could build something that we love so much, we can do it again and even better. we lost many, but new ones came that changed the landscape of the forums, this era is more peaceful and clean. we have focused more in helping people than being in war with each other, maybe you miss the action of war, but at that time, the peaceful didn't have a voice, they were driven away by the elite groups, who "own" this forum, there was no safety for the new ones, I think Rod Humble clean it up to give a better impression, but, in the process, he killed a great era. maybe you should see the beauty of what we have, and mourn less the beauty of something that is not gonna come back.
