  1. The way I do it, is to have a BASICS outfit folder. This contains all the things I routinely wear - skin, eyes, hair, jewelry, gadgets - like HUDs etc etc. Within that folder, I also have a subfolder called OPTIONS - containing stuff like dance HUD's, alarm clock HUD, alternative and favourite eyes, hair, jewelry - as a shortcut to looking through my inventory. Additionally, I have BODY folders for each of the bodies I mainly wear. My actual "outfit folders" only contain the clothes, shoes, jewellery (possibly hair and hairbases if I want to wear an alternative). ADDING a NEW item is very easy using this system.
  2. Granted. And the prize is... a life time supply of chewing gum. I wish for teleporting in RL (and if it's been wished before, I do apologise!)
  3. If an object is inside a container, then you aren't able to change the properties of things inside your object. So I expect those objectsthat didn't appear to change permissions, contained something inside them that wasn't set to the permissions you wanted. For this you would need to rez the objects.
  4. Good to see you back posting again, Pheeby. I missed your contributions and, understanding a little more about your RL situation, now appreciate even more the positivity you offer.
  5. Just tried the first search I posted (link in first post again) - no change as far as I can see...
  6. Thanks, Sid. DEMOS not linked to a full version are another Pet Peeve of mine. My initial point here was that checking DEMO in the search does not exclude demos (see the first link I posted). My last link, shows the Boolean being used to exclude DEMO's. And yes, it does better... My comment "I have no confidence that this a true reflection. "... refers to not being able to get results from the whole of marketplace for my search - but being limited to the search results out of the 10,000 that get returned now.
  7. That helps... but seems to return a very limited "selection" - set to search for all L$0, "no demo" checked, NOT DEMO boolean gives just 2157 items when searching for newest first... thats seems odd. Second Life Marketplace - NOT DEMO I have no confidence that this a true reflection. What I think is going on, is that Marketplace only returns 10,000 items, restricting the search further - using Booleans, checking other criteria: price, permissions, DO NOT show - is limited to those 10,000 items... there is no way to work round that to get results from all of marketplace for your criteria.
  8. I had to make the bug report again... I think I need bug spray!
  9. Made a report under Marketplace bugs. Hit Submit, but it's not showing up for me (searching My Own). Beginning to feel haunted! ETA: Hopefully just a delay in showing up.
  10. In the last few days, I have noticed that when I search, but exclude demo items via the checkbox left side of the page, this no longer works. I've cleared my web cache and history to no avail. Is this just me and what do I do to rectify it... or are others seeing the same? My search: Second Life Marketplace Hmm...
  11. I checked the limit of inventory a prim could contain as I had thought it was 3,000. And Rowan Amore is quite right - it is 10,000. While on that page, I looked unsuccessfully for the maximum size of inventory a linkset could hold (important for texture organisers for example). Does anyone know where I can find that information please? Thank you
  12. I am glad you got another place, Marianne, and so sorry that RL is not allowing you to have the stable space in SL to show off your talents.
  13. Have you considered having several alts with premium accounts which will give you "free tier" for mainland parcels. If you pay yearly, you do not pay VAT on premium membership. Your alts would join a group to amalgamate the land, and you can make use of the group bonus that way too. You will need to buy the plot of course.
  14. There are several carrying over shoulder animations in this pack... Second Life Marketplace - Battlefield / Emergency Rescue Animations and HUD test 1.3
  15. Sent you a couple of scripts inworld that could be adapted.... I think!
