  1. Very cute picture of you playing the violin!
  2. Perhaps while you're waiting to sort out Firestorm running, you might like to try Genesis Viewer. It's a fork of the Singularity viewer and I find that this release works well for me: Genesis (64 bit) (1.8.957) Oct 8 2023 15:13:58 (Channel: Genesis Release) It is one of the TPVs - here's a website link: Genesis Viewer
  3. That happens quite a lot. My building platform is above the shop. Sometimes I'm already in the shop pfaffing about. I don't go into the shop to meet them or ask if I can help if I see them, but leave them to wander about. Like others have said in this thread, shop assistants / merchants approaching me is something I don't like for myself and think a lot of people may feel similar. If I am around and notice they made a purchase inworld I will send an IM thanking them. Sometimes that's how a conversation starts. Or they may ask me a question. Or I might warn them about the frogs... I'll encourage them to try everything (I try not to just have things in boxes). Such a bonus if they have wacky sense of humour too. Invariably it's a nice experience for me. People tend to be very complimentary (scared to death of me no doubt) - and I thoroughly enjoy that. I mean the compliments! I might give them something that I think they'll like from my shop (or inventory - not everything makes its way in to the shop as I'm lazy with making boxes and listings too). Especially if they like prank things that frequently explode in my hands...
  4. One of my little shops has an entrance but no exit from the other side "You can check in any time you like But you can never leave!" Apologies to The Eagles...
  5. I'd want a great looking piece of furniture with the animations - and the ability to adjust / change / add / remove them to my heart's content. And for this, the furniture needs to me modifiable. My opinion is that most customers in SL do not know how to do this... I could be wrong!
  6. So kind of you to respond, Qie Yes - I read that thread and was left bemused... unchartered waters await! I guess I could make a rezzer... pretty much everything in the shop is full perms or at last copy / mod for me, so a mishap won't be a disaster. My ideal would be to be able to offer the whole parcel, rather than divide it - partly because I am scared of doing this land stuff! Sounds like I should give this some more thought though. It would be fabulous if I could get some feedback from people who have had experiences... please Eirlys / Emma
  7. Perhaps you could make an outfit folder for this item or any items you always wear? Then it would be a single click to add in addition to adding the outfit you've chosen from your appearance folder...
  8. The perfect polished paragraph that takes 10 minutes to arrive... while you wonder if they've gone to sleep or to do their rl weekly supermarket shopping. Give me typos, txtspk, whatever, just let us have a conversation!!!! (It doesn't help that I hate voice...)
  9. Sent you an ob inworld. I think it has the effect you want...
  10. In case the above may be of interest.
  11. I think since the same animations work well for your friend, this isn't the animations at fault here. I have had some strange issues with AVsitter lately where temporarily the pose takes a while to start or doesn't at all and I have to stand up and resit. I have no idea why. I would examine your friends build with a fine toothcomb, repicating it as much as possible as far as scripts are concerned. Also which animations follow on. Second I would take the build to another region in case of sim issues. Thirdly, I would take all animations and scripts and put them into a new prim or prims (depending on sitters) to eliminate any prim property weirdness. Wish you luck! And let us know how you get on please. ETA: What happens when your avatar sits on their furniture? Perhaps we should also consider the possibility that something about your av is off? (I've had "bending backwards" weirdness that needed a skeleton reset and sure messed up my poses)
