Not sure if are referring to the same person, but regardless: I just realized she, along with a man I knew when he was 18, are now almost 40. Wait. How many years has it been. *pulls out a calculator* Yep, I can't count. Okay, they are "only" 34-ish now. I'm so old I took typing in High School; wrote papers & resumes on the home typewriter, and the television was black & white (the "other" tv). We also had a Apple IIe at the time, but it was just easier to do certain things on the typewriter. So, the above was deceptive. I'm "only" approaching 47.

Since the Friday before Christmas, I've been watching Star Trek series. Ran through most of the episodes from the original Star Trek series then moved on to Star Trek TNG. At moment I'm in the sixth season. Just saw the one where several of them became kids. As is tradition, on Christmas, I watched two of my favorite Christmas films: Die Hard & National Lampoon's Christmas Vacation. Oh, and on Christmas day I saw Puss 'n Boots: The Last Wish. I liked it.

Sad to hear about Slink. My first mesh body came in 2012 and by Yabusaka Loon (PETITES). At the time I wondered what it'd be like if someone resized things to human sized - these were tiny little mesh pixies. After that came a cute mesh dragon, but, dragon, so I move on. To be fair to them: singer group notice said human avatars only (though I didn't see group notice until after I got tossed - when I went looking for group notice); plus: I was there for 20 minutes before they told me to leave - so I had some time to hear the music (they actually told me to change to human, but I can't change from that cat to human in a busy sim (and most of the time in an empty sim) without deforming and ending up naked; whereupon they'd have tossed me for being naked. I went there from a SLURL in a singer's group. So I'm not actually sure where I actually was.

Thanks. Is fun place. Not sure about 'great pictures', but I've two pictures I'll post which are great simply because I was able to get two avatars on at same time. I do not normally look nearly the same, I was testing the differences between two different mesh bodies. Did allow me to use the seesaw, though (there's also a neat snail in the background, very hard to see, but I didn't get a better picture of snail.)

Dropped my houseboat I had since March because I have another and the water is too shallow (at both places) to have mermaid stuff. And I wanted to play 'let's see what else is out there'. First pickup was a Victorian. Interesting Region name, but otherwise nothing special. Then spent day watching 'old Lindenland' pop up over and over again. So when a Camper came up, I grabbed it just to stop watching stuff. Even though I didn't really want a Camper. Ended up on an island with water surrounding three sides of my specific parcel.

I've seen clothing for it from Addams (top/bottom in petite package + top & blazer at store), Erratic (group gift), and Nerido (though you have to buy the regular item at event, then use redelivery at main store to get an updated version that has the petite bra/top in it). I went to that one store that was said to be good at 'Simple Stuff' clothing. The Simple Stuff option didn't work for me. I could see that they might with a bunch of breast fiddling, but I do not like making shapes for specific outfits. Also, I kept accidentally putting on the wrong pants versions and seeing my avatar have a bulge. I fled store. Looking for other Lara Petite (or Petite or Maitreya Petite) items runs into the problem that many things mention Maitreya, and there's Slink Petite. So you get a ton of false positives. Unfortunate that Maitreya went with the Petite name. Edit: And I just saw that Salt & Pepper are going to have clothing at C88 that will include Lara Petite.

I put up some more of my art in a more findable location. SLURL: Some Art While going through my folders to see what to put up, I found that I'd done about 18 trillion abstracts. I'd actually forgotten that. Most never got put up anywhere, and I don't think I put any up at the current location. Some were kind of neat. I should put up one or two somewhere someday.

I randomly put up some of my real life art up on two of my houseboats. Mostly because I wanted to play around with putting stained glass windows up. I also put out my art book on one of the houseboats. But I do not consider either place an art gallery. Oh, and if anyone does track down one or both of the boats - some of those are in fact stained glass in real life. Some are art made up of cut glass that isn't exactly see-through-able in real life, but are can bee seen through in SL because of transparency. And two or three are paintings I just stuck in a window and made into 'stained glass.' For example: the parrot is cut glass, not actually stained glass, and the other one, 'Punting on the Cam', is a painting based off of a photograph I took in the 1990s). The flowers below are stained glass (well, stained glass put against a window then photographed, the white bars are part of the actual window (in RL) that were captured in the photo). The other three windows actually feature one painting I stretched to cover three windows.

All of the homes I saw there were on 1024 sqm plots.

I was more of a cat who had the ability to walk around pretending to be human. Though, occasionally, ears and a tail would appear while I was in 'human' form. I did use the term, though, Neko. Mostly in photo titles and albums on Flickr. I had a cat avatar from the beginning. First as a lion. I had a little too much fun playing 'Planet of the Cats'. That's a quad-avatar, by the way, not biped. Just looked biped when on a horse. Or driving a car. Later as non-mesh cat, then even later as a mesh cat. As for as returning - I've not been an all fours cat in a while, but even as a biped I tend to have cat like things going on. Like hair that vaguely look like ears. Without actually being ears. A thread on this forum got pointed at on a different forum (a week ago or so?) and I looked today over here. So, other than a post I posted about 20 minutes ago, the last time I posted something on here was apparently in 2017. I have no clue how I would go about making myself look like my current forum avatar. heh. Not that I want to, I'm just noticing that I'm human in it. I thought I normally used cat avatars on forums and the like.

Bah. I do not know how to do quotes on here. Abe Lincoln was a member of the Illinois state House of Representatives from 1834-1842, then a member of the US House of Representatives from 1847-1849. He was in the Whig party at the time. By 1854, he was a member of the Republican party, and ran and won the US Presidency in 1860. When he ran for reelection, he did not run as a member of the Republican party, instead he ran as a member of the National Union party. Which is why his Vice President in his first term was Hannibal Hamlin, a Republican, and his VP in his second term was Andrew Johnson who also ran as a member of the National Union party, though he had previously been in the Democrat party, and returned to the Democrat party in 1868. To confuse matters - it is more that a branch of the Republicans split off and renamed themselves 'National Union party' to pull in War Democrats and others. While a different branch of the party split off to become Radical Democracy Party, with their candidate being John C. Fremont (who, again to confuse matters, had been the first person to run as a Republican. In 1856). Also to confuse matters, Fremont withdrew before the actual election took place. Fremont dropped out so that the Democrat candidate wouldn't win. Oh, and Lincoln's first campaign to join the Illinois state House of Representatives, in 1832 (which he lost), he did not, it appears, run as a Whig party member. I think. Point being that Lincoln's party membership was constantly evolving. He was constantly switching parties. What all of this has to do with BLM, I have no idea. So that my post does not end up being completely off topic, I post the below (which may or may not have already been posted, while I read a good many of the posts before posting now, there probably is about a 3rd of the posts, 1/3rd of the posts, that I have not read.):
