Nutmeg's Brick Fire Pit is still on sale for $60. You get 3 versions: firepit without kettle, with kettle, and with kettle and steam. The first is 4 LI, and the others are 5 LI. Flames on/off, crackling fire sounds. (I bought it mainly for the kettle, which you need to unlink - it's 1 LI and can't be unlinked from the metal grill, but that can be made invisible.)

Oh my. I'm touched by the concern shown in this post and those that followed! Nothing awful has befallen me (though it seems that many people in my extended social circle - including RL neighbors to the left and right of us - have been felled by Covid over the last 10 days). Truth is, I'd scanned the last week's sales and found nothing that shouted TAKE A CLOSER LOOK at me, so have instead concentrated on LeLutka's 12 Days list of freebies. (A few months ago I'd found an old notebook with several account login details I'd forgotten, so have been resurrecting alts from 13-15 years ago.) Normal service expected to be restored this weekend, provided we don't lose our broadband connection! (It's quite stormy out there and our ISP doesn't have a good track record with "extreme" weather 🙄 - i.e. heavy rain, strong winds, thunder storms, 2 inches of snow...)

As of 9:30pm Christmas Day SL time, Ives Beauty group is still free to join and these are all gift skins (several color options for each) - the last two shown on the right were the 12 Days gifts. This is the Rae skin (3rd from left) on the Noel head (my edited shape) with the Praline browless skin, one of 13 tones included.

Without trying it I didn't especially like the look of Purple's 'old woman' skin (picked it up anyway), but this is the one at the back of the store with the other group gifts. UPDATE: Had a quick play. Still need to find eyebrows I like and do something about the overly-prominent lashes, but I'm pleased with the detailing of the mouth. (No, I don't want to look like Kris Jenner.)

What you lose is the ability to have a reasonable separation between parcels. Just think of all your neighbor's poorly placed furniture intruding on your bijou living space while they're in the process of decorating or, worse yet, deliberately placed to cross the boundary between parcels, just to annoy you. There'd be technical issues as well, I expect, regarding limiting sound to a parcel. And I think security hubs would be a nightmare. (I've also lived in one of those terraced houses - I can't see how that would appeal to anyone who had another choice open to them, in RL or SL. Though I would like to see all-brick and all-stone exteriors within Belli.)

Well, I'm glad to say that I managed to make her look less like Tammy Faye Bakker, without needing to spend any money - I failed to not spend any money on my other "only freebies" alt, but I'm determined to keep this one pure and untainted (except for $5 so she could pick up the dollar-refunded freebies). Anyway, I played with the HUD's mask sliders and tinted her lashes a light skin tone. Definitely a big learning curve as facial animations are beyond me for now. I've got other avis that need to collect stuff - this has encouraged me to resurrect a few who've been dormant for 9-10 years. (Finding an old notebook with scrawled passwords has certainly helped!)

This bar set at Noveny is only $50, PG or A. The stool is 3 LI and the table is 1 LI. Despite the numbers shown, it has really good LODs when viewed from a distance at LOD2.

The PG version of Jolly's bed at Bloom is on sale this weekend for $99. (A is $625) It's 17 LI, but would really suit a Ranch house. The other bits and pieces are sold separately for $99 each (side table with working lamp and poinsetta is 4 LI, rug with slippers is 2 LI, table with all decor items it 11 LI). There are lots of other attractive $99 Christmassy items, but they're generally quite high LI.

This cute sofa (11 LI) at Dreamland Designs is on sale for $75 (PG only; A is 50% off and $250).

If Mid-Century Modern's your style, head over to Trompe for their Superfans sale. $50. The ad doesn't mention it but, like most Trompe pieces, there are many texture change options for the fabric. The color of the lamp isn't changed via touch or a HUD, instead you get six individual lamp-tables.

It's been explained several times over the last few years why dense builds like this urban scene or 'Brooklyn brownstones' wouldn't work in Bellisseria. I don't recall if it was @Abnor Mole or @Quartz Mole who gave the explanation, but perhaps it's worth reposting it in this thread...?

I hadn’t bought it myself (already have 2 favorite pianos and others in my inventory), but just clicked several places and obviously missed the important one! And I also assumed that the garland was included as there was no indication that it was possible to buy anything but the entire “set”.

It’s time to leave behind wood cladding and stucco, and add some stone-built houses to the inventory!
