  1. Well, when I looked at that site at the time, what I saw was a tally of the available parcels in each theme, nothing at a more granular level identifying where those parcels were located. And I maintain that given the rapidity with which any houses in popular themes are claimed when they appear on the Land Page, that level of detail would be useless - counterproductive, even - as the parcels would be gone by the time you pulled up a map.
  2. Go to Atia, join the free group, and get yourself some eyebrows as a free gift! The skin I'm using is one of the inexpensive ones for Classic avatars from ND/MD. It does have brows, but they're very fair and thin. The Atia brows cover them easily, and come in 12 colors. (Is it my imagination, or is she beginning to have a bit of a Jodie Whitaker vibe...?)
  3. Another piece in this weekend's sales that works for Jamie - the Paulina Cropped Shirt from ISON. I'm wearing the Lara version with the *LBD* V-neck elbow sleeves Top Alpha. The Neutral, Mystic, Cool and Print colorpaks are $145 each; the Earth and Warm colorpaks are $100 each for 12 colors. (Note that you can unpack only the size(s) you want.)
  4. Clothing on sale this weekend that works for Senra Jamie (a men's version is available, but isn't on sale). The KATY jacket at Amias is $100 per color, and the Maitreya Lara and Maitreya Petite fit my avatar perfectly using the Senra Jamie hoodie alpha layer. When you buy a single color, you get the HUD that gives you 20 color options for the sweater, and you can also toggle the sweater off (though the jacket alone doesn't work with any of Jamie's tops). You can also change the color of the detailing (pocket flaps, epaulets, zipper inserts, arm patches) and the metal of the buttons. (Just noticed the glitch with the hand in the bottom photo, but am not seeing it as the avatar is moving.)
  5. This low LI living room set that would especially suit a Sakura or Newbrooke is on sale at Simple Things for $75. The sofa is 7 LI, coffee table 1 LI, Ottoman 3 LI, Rug 2 LI, Wall art 1 LI, hanging lamp 5 LI.
  6. A couple of sale items at Bloom: the 15 LI Abeau bed (A) is $77, and the 7 LI Abeau sofa (PG?), which is supposed to come with a couple of paintings, is also $77.
  7. From Consignment: the 9 LI Charlotte's chair (A) is $50, as is the 3 LI skeleton.
  8. At Kazza, the 3 LI LittleDwelling Sideboard is $60, as is the 4 LI PlantPot6.
  9. This entire set from Oh Deer! is $75. All the items in the demo are linked, and total only 4 LI. (The LODs of the letters on the desk appear to be poor, but everything else renders nicely from a reasonable distance.) EDIT: The desk with letters and stamp collection linked is only 1 LI - shadows are baked onto the desk, but the LODs look better than in the store. The book stack with hour glass is 2 LI and the bulletin board with letters is 1 LI.
  10. Actually, the time to make observations and suggestions is before the design is fully embedded and the product is released. The comments so far aren't sniping or being critical for the sake of being critical. Some of us have actual experience with UI design and lots of experience being users and helping users. It's easy to overlook things when you're immersed in and excited about a project.
  11. No one has ever said that showing available *parcels* would be possible, as information would be out of date as soon as it was presented.
  12. Please go the the new thread that Nika created and add specific observations/suggestions, rather than simply bashing what has been shown so far.
  13. I'll repeat the basics of my critique here and add some new thoughts: 1) An initial page (not shown in available preview) ought to feature all the themes, preferably in alphabetical order rather than release order. The current order is irrelevant or confusing to new users. 2) Links from that first page should provide a view of all house models within that theme, but clearly state that it is not necessary to choose houses at this level from the LP. (This has been confusing to new users in the past.) 3) An alphabetical index of all house style names is useful but such an integrated listing is not helpful as an entry point! 4) Better, perspective-corrected photos should be used, preferably ones which give an indication of the type of landscaping found in that theme. 5) If parcels in a theme are currently available, an icon or color banding on the theme's name should be used to signal this. But users should also be given the option to see only currently-available themes. 6) Pre-Bellisserian house styles should not be included, unless LL commits to continuing those regions.
  14. Hmmm... The page shown gives a mishmash of alphabetical listing by house-style names and house themes. Question 1 (to Patch et al.): Why are the original Linden homes listed at all? Question 2: If the decision has been made to definitely include them, why are they featured in this way? Other observations: The photos are poor - there's no need for the perspective to be distorted. For an initial page (not shown), each theme should be shown, with links to the house types available in that theme. While a clickable alphabetical index of all house names would be useful, that is not the best way to present the information in the first instance.
  15. Our broadband/wifi died yesterday, but I've just checked and these items are still available at sale prices. At Magnetic, this collection of Aspen trees is $150. The group of 3 tall aspens is 3 LI, all the others are 2 LI, and they appear to include duplicates with just the slightest difference of color. If you don't want the stone ring surrounding them, it's easy to unlink it and you'll save 1 LI that you can use for a patch of grass instead. Look to your left and you'll find this animated wheat field scene - 12 LI, $75. And for $35 you can pick up this walking-on-leaves sound effect.
  16. Some seasonal items at Petite Mort: the bench is 10 LI, PG, $99. The other sets are $55 each.
  17. On sale at Jian this weekend for $50 per panel, BUT the "cows" are dreadful, and clearly created by someone who's never seen a photo of one, let alone a real cow.
  18. If old and shabby's your style, check out Grandma's Cabinet at Pitaya - $75 per color, and $75 per decor set as shown. The display model of the cabinet excluding all decor is 5 LI, but the adverts say they're 4 LI. (It is definitely *5* LI.)
  19. This 13 LI Clara bed at Bricolage has several color change options for the throw pillows and the a couple for the quilt and blanket. $75 for PG or A. The bedside table is 4 LI and comes with the 2 LI flower vase, $75. The beige patterned rug is 1 LI, $75.
  20. There are lots of items in Kazza's Happy Weekend sale. The lilies in the yellow vase (2 LI), potted plant with blue flowers (1 LI), tub of roses (2 LI) and potted palm (4 LI) are $60 each. The table (4 LI) and chairs (2 LI each), including the 3 LI sushi place setting and saki bottle is $60. The 2 LI ceiling fan (no light, just a fan) is also $60.
  21. A couple of low LI items at the Design Firm Collection - the Elmira fireplace is only 2 LI, with multiple color options for the surround and the wall. There are two versions - one with different types of marble surround and the other with a 'stone' surround. $60. Also 2 LI is the Elmira built-in cabinet, with a dozen color options for the various faces, $60. (Note that these items may be too tall for some Linden homes and I don't know if they can be resized - if anyone buys them, please report back!)
  22. Trompe Superfans sale: an entire living room set for $50.
  23. Thanks for the earworm 👂🪱- at least it’ll replace Virgin’s I Am What I Am (why, Virgin, why???!!!) for a bit… Oh, no, Sarah! You’ve removed the musical reference!
  24. Also, a plea to lessen the built-in pout - it makes *every* skin I've used look like there's a moustache!
  25. A nice sale item this weekend for Senra Jamie from Just Because - this long-sleeved crop-top sweater is $75 per autumnal color, $400 for the Fatpack of all 6 colors. Lara fits well, provided you use the *LBD* Long-sleeve crop top Alpha or similar. (The pack of *LBD* Alpha layers is available on the MP for only $1. Some other Alpha packs to look for are by Bimbette, Blimey, and Sweet's - all free but more limited than LBD's.)
