Keep in mind that if you try to buy stuff from the sim next door (which is what a couple are doing, the rest simply haven't figured out you could buy stuff from a neighbour sim and are trying to sperm their way in), your purchases might not show up in your inventory despite the fact your account is charged. Thanks, I already have that. I meant just a simple sync script for a single pair of poseballs, not a poseball system. Basically what all the couples animation creators uses.

Does anyone know where I can find a couples poseball script? One person sit on a poseball, the other person sit on another, then animation syncs and starts? It's used like everywhere in SL, but I can't find a script for this anywhere that actually works.

Which viewer supports import/export of xml files? I've already tried Imprudence and it doesn't work whatsoever. Tested a few xml files and it causes the viewer to freeze for about 5 seconds then immediately crash. Basically xml files are just exported shapes or nonsculpt/nonmesh objects that has no other way of being exported.

Well the blacklist is everyone except those 3 people in SL. Basically I'm building one of those things where if someone clicks an emote through a menu it'll say something in local chat like "Jane Doe poked you on the tail!". But only a few people are allowed to touch the attachment.

Does anyone know what's the function that sets a touch menu so that only the owner of the attachment will activate it? A very helpful person helped me write this basic script that hides/shows certain prims of a worn attachment through a menu (for example, "hide base", "hide tubes", "show all", etc), but currently when I wear the attachment anyone can just click on my attachment then activate the menu, and hide/show my attachment parts. It's because marketplace fails. It lacks everything that's present in a modern day online shop. Multiple filters (I want to search for dresses AND shoes, nope you can'd do that in SL marketplace), disable categories (I want to search for everything EXCEPT demos, nope you can't do that), mandatory categories (there is no MESH category, no DEMO category, no DISCOUNTS/PROMOTIONAL OFFERS categories, perhaps the 3 most popular things in SL at the moment, yet there are totally unnecessary categories like "breedables" and "toys and video game memorabilia". Who came up with these categories, a chimp?). And yes merchants abusing keywords... I think everyone knows that already. Happens not in just SL marketplace but every marketplace, it's pretty much unpreventable.

That's a possibility. But it's common business etiquette to put something in the group notice or at least your profile? We're dealing with real-world money here, not some in-game currency like WoW. To put it in a bold way, don't open a business that deals in real cash if you can't handle the responsibilities. One of the reasons why I never buy anything really expensive in SL ever. Like the posters above said, absolutely nothing you can do if the creator just scammed you of $50k L.

Yeah I understand the "rules", I was hoping someone might know the creator or something, or some store manager, as redmint is a pretty popular store. I would ask in some in-world fashion groups... but it seems no fashion group allows group chat anymore. Womenstuff disabled it, fashion consolidated disabled it, and fashion emergency group is either dead or disabled admittance.

Anyone know who to contact about redmint products? Or know what happened to the creator... she didn't sign on for more than a week, no notices in group or profile about the absence. Sent countless IM's and notecards, even sent her an email, no response of course. It's regarding a product redelivery and well, I'd like to get the product I paid 543L for... And there's no redelivery terminal. Funny thing is in her profile it says "send transaction info within 7 days of purchase". I guess that rule would be void if the creator doesn't sign on for more than 7 days hmm?

I was wondering if there is an open source script somewhere that includes a simple touch menu that hides/shows certain prims in a multi-prim object. For instance I click the object, then given a few choices in a menu like "hide all green", "hide all red", "hide all", "show all", "show all green", "show all red", etc, according to the object's description parameter, or some linkset identification number. I know I can insert a copy of the script into each prim but I heard that would be redundant and memory-heavy. And this only works if the owner touches the object of course. I'm new to scripting so I only got the hide/show part understood. Golden rule: you cannot run SL efficiently with any laptop with integrated graphics "card". Some of the later intel cards like 3000 or 4000 might be able to run it at bare minimum settings but then your SL will look about as good as super mario 64. Any graphics chip made after 2007-ish should work.

I feel sorry for the people who actually buy a plot of pixel land for $1100 + $295 a month. Lol. Unless you buy it for the purpose of selling it for a higher price of course. Then I feel sorry for the idiot who actually buys from you. Next LL will create "pixel banks" for the purpose of "pixel mortgages".

It's been dying from the start. Attempting to sell fashion in a game for real money is fail of an idea from the start. It's been proven that someone can sell you an empty box for $10k and there is absolutely nothing you can do about it. Oh and you can't even post on the damn forums cause apparently that's "spreading negative information about a creator", cause the nazis at LL obviously never heard of freedom of speech, when it's perfectly fine to warn people of shady people or businesses on other forums like redflagdeals or even yahoo answers. The level of security in SL purchases is approximately equal to buying a fake Rolex from a hobo peddler in a dark alley. Though that might be an overstatement, at least you do get a fake watch from the hobo, whereas you might get some complete sh*t on marketplace. When you have open real $ transactions going on like this, completely unsecured, how can it not fail? Even game money transactions in some MMORPG's offer more security than SL purchases. Bottom line, just log on and chat with people. Do not buy anything, period, unless it's freebies or near-freebies. Do not buy any lindens, your money is way better off spent in pretty much anything else, including other MMORPGs. Of course, if you're a creator and here to scam people, then you might need a few $'s of investments to get a business started. I've been in SL for 5 years, statistically speaking the majority of the creators I've had to deal with are complete pricks or fraudsters.

Anyone successfully log onto preview grid (aditi/beta)? It's stuck continuously on "logging in", but logging into main server works...

Bad manners from a store owner is about as common as getting goosebumps when you're cold. Absolutely nothing surprising about it. You think this is bad? Wait until you've seen some of the creators I had to deal with. Absolutely effing bitches. If a store owner is nice to me, I'd even buy extra stuff from her. Easy to guess what's the opposite. To all store owners: if you think acting like a complete b*tch means you're being "professional" and "cool", you're a complete dumbass. Think again about who is the ultimate loser of this transaction? If your ultimate purpose is to piss off customers and decrease your revenue then go ahead and continue doing it. Methods including having extremely rude stuff in your profile, ignoring IMs/notecards, including swearing words in your messages, falsely advertising your products, so on and so forth. But the last time I checked, most creators are here to make money, and in case you haven't noticed, money actually comes from sales and not how many people you pissed off.

Huge wtf moment. I had a tp crash yesterday when I tried to tp out of a laggy sim (collabora8). After I logged back on this morning, everything I did yesterday is gone, except (thankfully) purchases. All the edits I did on outfits, the clothing change, hell even the scripts I inserted into some objects are gone. My avatar basically reverted back to just before logging on yesterday. >_<

I already did. Let's just say some creators in SL simply don't respond to customer messages. We can be grateful there is such thing as redelivery terminals.

Very nice photos. Just wondering, were they touched up in photoshop? Most of your photos look much higher resolution and 3D-ish than SL could allow.

The photo is from TDR fusion, I just took snapshot today. Doesn't mean boots are from TDR lol. And I'm not necessarily looking for boots in that colour. Any colour in that model is fine, I doubt the creator permanently removed this item from some sale, even after TDR items are taken off they'll be for sale for reg price. I've never seen that mesh model before, it's unlikely that it's from a mesh kit.
