Selene Gregoire replied to Ivy Mysterious's topic in General Discussion Forum
Well meaning people who just will not leave me alone and let me relax and unwind until I get so tense I yell at them to leave me alone. -

I was just letting you know the person you responded to won't ever see it and won't ever respond. Excuse me for trying to be nice. -

Just so you know, you replied to a post that is over a year old and the person who posted it left the forum months ago. Your reply will never be seen by Callum. -
There is nothing wrong with being sensitive during stressful times. What would be wrong would be taking being sensitive out on others. You can't expect others to not "make merry" while you feel sensitive. You can't ask people to stop living their lives like that. It's simply not going to happen because people cannot stop living their lives, no matter what happens. Short of death obviously.

Looking for more stories like this
Selene Gregoire replied to Nimue Galatea's topic in General Discussion Forum
Do these have to be stories about people who have held onto their original/First Land since the beginning and not about people who fought tooth and nail to hold on to what they had but lost it anyway, more than once? -
A New Look For Second Life
Selene Gregoire replied to Sylvia Tamalyn's topic in General Discussion Forum
I'm actually having to hold my own hand over that while I look at the forum because even against the image background it's too bright for my eyes. And yes I do have Astigmatism which is why real bright colors and bright sunlight hurt my eyes. You should see how dark my sunglasses are. -
A New Look For Second Life

It gives me a headache to look at the too bright blue. A white background makes it worse. While I do like blue, I prefer green but if LL will tone the blue down a bit so that it doesn't glare at you. Attract my attention but don't glare at me. I know, not easy to achieve. It's just that I'm not the only one. -

If I have done or said anything to upset you, I want to apologize publicly. It wasn't intentional. I'd post this in the thread that prompted it but I'd rather stay out of that thread. -
Do LL rent servers to events

In additional to what Lindal said you may want to contact other performers and consult with them to obtain the optimum. Some will be happy to help, some won't. -
Oh man. I completely forgot about asking her for one. Maybe I'll remember next time I log in.

They were, and yes they are high prim. Too high for permanent display, great for show n tell. lol Do any of the Lindens create mesh Linden bears? I don't think so. I think one of the requirements for the job is to create your own from prims. In other words, learn a bit about building before diving in. I think that is a good thing.
-
I don't really collect the Linden plushies. I have a few but they're mostly from long gone Lindens.
-
I remember that. I was gobsmacked by the number of people who were offended because it wasn't a bear. And Rod wasn't the first either. Humans. Can't live with them, can't live without them. Dammit. lol
-
Yep. But no one asked that question. 🤪
-
A long, long time ago it was Oz (back in my FS support days) but more recently it was Patch.

Humans need routines. Now you know why. It's why I make a point most days to go to bed around the same time and get up around the same time, even on weekends. Routines, habits, yeah. It's our bodies' way of telling us all this "tech stuff" really isn't good for us because it disrupts our bodies' natural rythyms.

He never promised me one.
