  1. either by going to about land > access > banned residents list and remove their entry, or, if it's done with a security orb then you will have to delete their name from the ban list there, usually via a notecard or menu.
  2. in addition - the active/inactive options are also quite useful if you have seasonal items that you wish to sell only at certain times of the year, as relisting is against the mp tos.
  3. assuming you are the owner of the group and the person you want to eject is not another owner, this is done via the member list. mark the person you want to remove and hit "eject from group" http://community.secondlife.com/t5/English-Knowledge-Base/Managing-groups/ta-p/700111#For_group_Owners if your land is set to the group and only group members are allowed to rez then he is not able to rez at your house after he is ejected. make sure rezzing is not set to all can rez and your group is closed enrollment.
  4. that's a very neat trick right there, can't possibly be done any quicker

    Dirty hair

i might be blind today but i can't see anything obviously wrong with those hairs.
  6. sorry i can't help with your second question, but for the first one; try ctrl+9 (pc) / cmd+9 (mac) to reset the zoom. see if that does anything for you. i am sure others will come and help you out on the second part. or even the first one as well if my suggestion does nothing for you.
  7. Assuming your credit card is not declined, you receive your signup bonus 45 days after your signup date. Note: The L$1000 signup bonus now applies to both new Premium accounts and accounts that have upgraded from Basic to Premium. http://wiki.secondlife.com/wiki/Linden_Lab_Official:How_long_does_it_take_to_get_the_L$1000_bonus_after_I_sign_up_for_a_Premium_account%3F the stipend is paid on a tuesday, if i remember correctly.
  8. in the build menu floater there is an option for "use grid". check that one and you are able to snap/rotate objects to the grid.
  9. what stupid phoenix bug? having multiple viewers installed on the same machine works out perfectly fine - unless they both share the same cache. then you will have some issues with your avatar i am sure. multiple viewers on same machine? make sure they don't share the same cache.
  10. i can confirm what luc said, any textures you want to export need to be rezzed - opened - then you can export them via top menu - file - save texture as tga/png. doing this in inventory does nothing. when you export textures with alphas (as tga) the alpha channel will be saved and can be viewed when you open it in your graphics program. so open the textures you want to export (that you have permission to do so) - top menu - file - save textures as (...)
  11. perhaps you should edit out your name as well, if that is your rl name there. and please rephrase your question. i am also wondering what the question really is
  12. good catch, peewee. i am getting a sneaking suspicion that the setup for asking questions looks too much like the "send an e-mail form" and that is why some people include/reveal too much personal/rl info in their posts. just a thought... hmmm.
  13. no there isn't. you can edit your profile outside of sl - https://my.secondlife.com/Ty.Voss - but any group management would have to be done while inworld. - at least as far as i know, and i would be surprised to hear if it really would be possible, but you learn a little everyday
  14. i can't see any difference in the links either, but i could have sworn they didn't work earlier. weird for sure... (hey mods! how about a confused smiley?)
  15. any used clothing you don't want to keep anymore can be sold, that's quite common to do, provided they are transfer. irene gave good advice (make sure you are authorized to sell the stuff; i.e. no dodgy full perm (freebies)). for some reason i can't get the links she gave to work, but they really should work... (irene, i am getting "The page you are trying to access was not found. Please check your URL for typos and try again." on both of the links. i am confused. what is broken now? )
  16. all money going in and out of your account is listed in your transaction history on your dashboard, so i would suggest you go there and see if you can solve the mystery. dashboard - account - transaction history
  17. personally i wouldn't give an alt too much money. they get spoiled too quickly. i would go with peewee's suggestion
  18. i wouldn't exactly call it "win" but, yes as a signup bonus you do receive 1000 L$. (paid after 45 days) not sure what you mean by "how much it takes to be sended", but the bonus is credited your account without you needing to do anything.
  19. not possible to change username and any inventory you wish to transfer to any other account you would have to transfer yourself (and no, no transfer inventory cannot be transferred).
  20. is this turned on by default? i can't recall ever seeing it in my phoenix, but i might have disabled it long ago and forgotten about it. talk about useless feature. turn it off in your prefs and stop stressing over it. prefs - phoenix - page 1 - misc - (untick) show a message when someone takes a snapshot
  21. great suggestion, peter, and very useful when there is no rezzing space available, i have done this myself many times. i just wanted to add that if (some of) the contents of the box is not copiable then copy to inventory will not work. or, it will only copy the copiable items and leave the no copy still in the box.

  23. unless something has changed since the last time i saw and answered this question, the 1000 L$ signup bonus is paid 45 days after you signup. http://wiki.secondlife.com/wiki/Linden_Lab_Official:How_long_does_it_take_to_get_the_L$1000_bonus_after_I_sign_up_for_a_Premium_account%3F why can't you teleport to your linden home? what is happening when you try? you should have gotten an e-mail with the slurl to your parcel, so perhaps check your spam folder, it may have ended there. also check your dashboard, under "land manager - my mainland", the slurl is listed there. what is happening when you try to unpack boxes? sometimes even sandboxes can be full. try another sandbox. it is possible to go back to basic, yes, but hopefully some of the answers i gave, or other posters add, will be of some help to you.
  24. seriously? :smileyvery-happy: well, yes, it could be true. ims circulating inworld are always true - who reads the official blog for official news anyway? :smileyvery-happy: eta: here's the link to the official blog. bookmark and read: http://community.secondlife.com/t5/Blogs/ct-p/Blogs
