  1. That is not the issue, as the Firestorm viewer displays the "shine" correctly if I remove the color overlay of the normal map (but makes it too shiny in LL viewer). I am looking for a solution to what the setting should be for both viewers to see the materials the same way. This doesn't seem to bother other creators so there is something I am doing wrong.

Hello, I recently noticed an issue where somebody reported that none of my creations have a "shine" to them, even though, normal maps are used and look perfectly fine on the LL viewer, but on firestorm, it looks matt. I apply a color mask to adjust the shine to where I prefer it, but for the Firestorm (on highest setting) it looks matt and only when I make it super shiny on the LL viewer by removing the color mask, it looks ok on the Firestorm. What might be the issue and how can it be fixed? Multiple users have reported this and we ran some tests to confirm the issue. Thank you for your time, Eduardos.
  3. I actually had 4 materials, so I tried everything else since you suggested the unlucky number was 3. But I just went in cirles. I added an extra material and it WORKED..? Seriously this is so strange.. I am new to MESH, but so far it has been very tricky. Hopefully it will be worth it. And thanks for the help!
  4. So I should stay away from using 3 materials in one MESH? That sounds weird, but worth a try. Anyways, maybe it has something to do with the fact that I uploaded these two items seperately before and then linked in blender and uploaded again? Still strange..
  5. I have a question about mesh. I tried to join 2 objects (smaller and bigger one) in blender to save primspace, but when uploading to SL, the load distance is taken from the smaller object and not the bigger one. Why is that? The result - for an 8m tall mesh I get loading distance of a 1m mesh..

  9. Also got charged about 30k in one day. The worst thing was, I was online and couldn't understand why I was loosing so much money.
  10. Marketplace charged me yesterday for most if not all of my enhancements at once? Even if the subscriptions did not run out yet? I did change a lot of my items to be delivered directly instead of the magic box, is that realy the reason? Anyone knows? And is there a change of getting any linden$ back?
  11. I realy don't know which settings to change to make my view look perspective. Now it is orthographic - all paralel lines look paralel - they don't get closer in distance - as in real perspective.. Please help. + SL doen't recognize my new GPU card... How can I help SL viewer find out what my GPU card is?
