  2. yes, for me too now. looks like removing the o word did the trick.
  3. excellent. thank you, genn! :matte-motes-smile: ps. so i guess that's a no on renaming this section then? :matte-motes-silly:
  4. peewee is most likely correct. i just want to add that you are not alone in being confused by this. it really is a stupid arrangement to have as a default group role "ability". people don't want to spend money in sl, join groups they assume are free only to end up with a negative linden balance and not understanding a thing what happened or having the means to correct it. if you're a member of enough groups where this happen and not log in that often it adds up quick enough without you even noticing. there could be (should be) a jira on this, but i am too lazy to search for that right now. :matte-motes-asleep: info about where to find your transaction history and how to manage it should really be included in the "getting started" info. i strongly recommend everyone to download to disk regularly and start doing it yesterday.
  5. - or are the moderators moving them as they are accidentally spotted? i think using the "report inappropriate content" option sounds a bit harsh when it's just posted in the wrong section, but if that is the only way of getting them moved then that is what i will use. or - i suggest this section (feedback) should be renamed "do NOT post here. at all!". or "post here and break out in hives". or "posting in this section costs 1500 L$". alternatively an additional link to a basic english class. :matte-motes-sour:
  6. it might be the word that starts with o and ends with rgies. try take that out and see what happens then.
  7. if you do get your old account back, don't get your hopes up about the inventory. "a few years ago" - i doubt they keep inventory for so long.
  8. dashboard transaction history only goes back 30 days. download it to disk regularly and start now. purchase history on the marketplace goes back to the first purchase (on mp)
  9. go to you dashboard > account > transaction history to see where your lindens are wandering. the bridge is not taking them, but perhaps the troll that lives under it is :matte-motes-bored:
  10. your hair grew? where - in your palms? (and, yeah, what others have said already)
  11. you're most welcome :matte-motes-smile: i assumed the issue was that you were seeing customers with only one name, so that is what i based my reply on. if this wasn't the case, let us know and we'll try something else :matte-motes-smile:
  12. the name listed in your orders reports is the customers (user/login) name (display names do not show up here), and if you see only one name this is a newer resident who never got a last name. add "resident" as your customers last name when looking them up inworld and you should have a match.

  15. ah! good to know! thanks, luc =) \o/ now i only need a mac
  16. press the "page down" key. i don't know the mac equivalent, i'm sorry.
  17. ChaosRevisited wrote: Anyone else had this problem, or know anything about it? well, yes. have a look around the forums. every day there are posts about missing deliveries from the marketplace. something is not right there. what you need to to is contact the merchant(s), explain what happened and include your transaction info. dashboard > account > transaction history. and/or info from your order history at the marketplace. my marketplace > my account > order history. eta: ansariel beat me to it. i haven't experienced any delivery failures myself, not the stuff i buy nor the stuff my customers buy from me. i can't see the magic recipe to this, i really can't - why some have a lot and others none. but as a shopper there are things you can do to improve your odds. always be inworld when shopping and don't use the cart for anything other than freebies.
  18. adding to cinnamon's answer (which may very well be spot on): find the asset blacklist under phoenix > asset blacklist > avatarname > remove. relog/tp out&back in or change group tag to re-render you again. =)
  19. why was the previous post marked as answered when it's not? http://community.secondlife.com/t5/Creation/Magic-Box/qaq-p/895233 instead of creating new threads you can add info to your op by going to options > edit.
  20. your post has no text. if you are using ie9, click the torn page icon by the address bar to make it work with these forums and then edit your post (options > edit) to add info.
  21. what viewer are you trying to run and at what point does it crash and if you get any error messages what does it say?
  22. you were already answered in your first post http://community.secondlife.com/t5/Inventory/bought-off-of-xstreet-and-it-was-sent-to-me-but-when-i-keeped-it/qaq-p/892069 please keep to one thread. makes it so much easier for people to help. you can edit your post (options > edit) to add info.
  23. no, you would have to notify them yourself if you want them to know.
  24. the marketplace shopping cart was a good idea. initially. however, it has proven to be so bug ridden that i wouldn't advise anyone to use it for anything other than freebies. there really should be a warning when using the cart... if you're ever tempted - don't shop on the marketplace while not inworld. i have seen so many coming here frustrated over not getting what they paid for - "i bought tons of stuff from the marketplace, it was like 2000 L$, but when i logged in i received only one item/but when i logged in my messages were capped and i got nothing. what's up?". but i assume you're not tempted after experiencing what you just did. follow valerie's tips - buy one item. keep. buy a second item. keep. etc.
