  1. Group liability charge is for having a parcel show up in search at the amount of 30L per week per parcel. If you are not the owner of the land and just a person in the group then you should contact the group owner and ask them to check the settings in their group roles and make sure that the default on the "Everyone" role "Pay group liabilities" is not checked.
  2. Believe it or not there is actually a process in "restarting" your internet. First shut down your pc, then unplug the power from your router and then unplug the power from your modem and wait 2 minutes. Then restart everything in the opposite direction starting from your modem. Try that, hope it helps.
  3. Correct, the magic box should have been rezzed and it should remain permanently rezzed or your items will eventually be inactive. You cannot get paid for an item that hasn't been delivered, even though the buyer has been deducted the amount from their account. If buyer checks his/her order history from the Marketplace website he/she will find a notice from LL telling them that you the seller has not been paid and to wait 8hrs, after 8hrs the order will be terminated and he/she will be refunded. So you just have to wait 8hrs and let the order fail. P.S. LL is now testing a direct delivery thing where items are pulled from your inventory instead of a magic box and therefore you may not need to have a box rezzed at all times but for now you must have one permanently rezzed.
  4. You need to accept cookies under the viewer preferences. For some reason if you decline the use of cookies some or most profiles will not be displayed.
  5. I am not sure what you mean by "In" language. Anyhow, a dance machine or chimera will make an avatar dance by using dances you have purchased seperatly and added them to its contents. Couples dances are different, for this the device will have to rez temp poseballs for each avi. For the most part dances are always sold seperatly. However you can search for Itan for the couples dances and I do believe it comes with some animations on it. For singles dances you may try 3FX, Animazoo, and other dance animations stores, they all also sell some sort of dance machine you can purchase. You can use any animation from any store on any dance machine. The dance floor is a whole seprate thing you will also have to purchase if you want to or make your own.
  6. I personally don't see LL ever "donating" land to any one community, if they did they would have to do so for every community because each community would then demand it. If your community is that involved as you say, then why not get the community to donate the land? You can have each member donate his/her land allowance to a group. Or better yet if your community is that involved then you all can pitch in the money to buy your own private sims. Just a thought or two.
  7. And I may be wrong but it is becoming increasingly clear that most of the question being asked on this Answers forum is from new teens. All the questions being asked which we never used to see before seem to be coming from the teens. I hope I'm wrong.
  8. And that font was the reason I asked whether OP was over the age of 18.
  9. Are you over the age of 18? if not you may only visit G rated areas and you are also only allowed to view G rated material on the Marketplace.
  10. demos are usualy free so try using the search criteria on the left side of the screen and use price 100L to whatever price you wish to display.
  11. There is no such limits, unless of course you are a teen and your parents don't want you playing SL when you are supposed to be in school from 8 - 3pm?
  12. Disregard my previous post, I for some reason I misread your question. I think your problem is the one Nyll pointed out.
  13. You will need to clear your cahce manually. See here on how to do it from different OSs http://wiki.secondlife.com/wiki/Clearing_the_cache

It also draws a lot of complaints, dilutes the marketing of a company, is generally frowned upon and leads to people opting out of all Second Life emails because they feel they're being spammed, opt-in by default is a tacky setting. The subscription for receiving email replies should be explained more clearly and put in front of people, especially in the answers section and then they can choose that option easily. It is not spam. If they are posting on a public forum asking a question, then it is implied that they wish to receive an answer to their question. If they don't post, then they get no email.

They would have to make this a site wide setting, as it was with Jive, which annoyed a hell of a lot of people, making subscriptions and emails default is a lazy solution, making it more clear that it's an option is the way to go. It is much easier to get people to opt-out than it is to opt-in.
  16. Drag the box to the ground in a place where you are allowed to rez like a sandbox, then right-click the box and select "Open" then click the "copy to inventory" button.
  17. But if you still want to try and the object itself is modify then try removing the animations and hope that the script displays only animations that are on the object's content. Otherwise there is no way to do it unless the script is modify.
  18. You can't unless the scripts are modify which I doubt that they are.

That is because the new version of this question is now "I can't log in to sl, plz help!" (tried to make it with typos than that but I am unable to, just pretend that question is unreadable).
  20. There doesn't need to be a reason, the landowner can ban you simply because he doesn't like the name Dracula. There are plenty of clubs in SL to visit which I'm sure would be happy to have you.
  21. I agree. The part you say about people not ever coming back to their questions to see if it has been answered or to give more information on their problem happens too often, I'd say about 60% of the threads that are open are this. It can easily be fixed but the devs are too lazy, just like they are too lazy to fix the compatibilty problem with IE 9. All they have to do is make subscriptions to a thread and getting them on email the default. Some people don't know how to navigate to their profile page to look up the threads they have made so they just give up when they can't find their threads.
  22. Make sure you are accepting cookies, and you don't have your browser set up to delete cookies and all browsing history upon closing the browser (All browsers offer this now but it should not be the default unless you have changed that prefference yourself).
  23. Although making a shape is not hard making a skin is, and I doubt any skin maker is going to work for free. You are asking somebody to spend their time and hard work to make you a "custom" shape and skin for free, is going to be hard to get that but may happen. We all started out as noobs and had a choice, 1) Buy Lindens and buy a skin and shape or pay someone to make you one if you insist on custom. 2 ) Make your own, here are some links that offer free open source skin PSD templates you can use to make your own skin in Photoshop. http://www.vintfalken.com/new-second-life-skin-psd-files-from-eloh-eliot/ 3) Forget the custom part and make due with what is available to you for free.
  24. I've never used qavimator but you can try Daz Studio, it is free and open source. On Daz you can have two avatar meshes in one scene to help you create your couples pose but you still need to export and then import them to SL as seperate poses.
