  1. Hello Everhardt and welcome to SL Forums. I had exactly the same problem with the previous version of V3. Your installation is corrupted. So: 1)Uninstall the program using the Windows Control Panel 2)Delete all contests at the following folders: C: \ Users \ (USER NAME) \ AppData \ Roaming \ SecondLife and C: \ Users \ (USER NAME) \ ApplData \ Local \ Secondlife 3)Download a fresh copy from http://secondlife.com/support/downloads/ and install it. Normally it will fix your issue. If the folder Appdata is hidden, make it visible under Windows Tools --> Folder Options --> View & enable Show Hidden Files/Folders C: = your hard disk. Where you see backslash (\) follows a folder into the previous one
  2. Hello hanna and welcome to SL Forums. Although Female goth avatar shape has foot size 0, this is also my thought. You changed your foot size making them larger. If so, you will fix the problem if you make your free size 0 (right click on you --> Edit shape). Also make sure that you have read the instructions and you wear all parts (left shoe, right shoe, shoe base and alpha layer if it is included. The fact that you have the same problem with bare feet, makes me to believe that you do something wrong. Be sure also that you remove your previous shoe base and you don't wear both. If still you can't find a solution, ask a friend of you to help. You can also contact the creator sending an im or better a notecard in world. If you can't find someone don't hesitate to im me also. Normally when maintenance finishes all residents are able to log in again.

You have 2 options: Contact the merchant: Open your Dashboard --> Shopping --> Marketplace --> My Marketplace --> My account --> Order History --> If you see that your last purchases delivered means that the merchant got payed --> Take a copy of your last purchases (there you see the name of the merchant)--> Open your inventory --> create a New Notecard --> Paste there --> send the notecard to the merchant(s) describing what was happened and asking politely for redelivery. Contact support: If you don't get a reply by the merchant, submit a ticket --> Marketplace category --> Failed Marketplace Delivery. Explain analytically what was happened, includes the order number and the name(s) of the item(s) that failed to be delivered and wait for a reply. In addition last weeks there is a bug which affects all viewers and several residents. When they are offline, they get nothing. If you believe that it is possible to affect you also, according Maestro Linden, block something or someone in world and relog. It is possible to get your offlines this way. One last thing. All residents have an inbox which can save up to 25 notifications. If last time you logged out you had already 25 or almost 25, your new ones maybe got capped. So, have in your mind this case also.

The only difference is that if you place is located on an Adult region, friends without Age verification won't have access there.
  7. Hello sheyjae and welcome to SL Forums. There is NO charge in order to delete any account. On the other side there is a charge if you want to re-activate an account you have deleted. Check out your Account History to see where your US$ gone.
  8. Hello Narumee and welcome to SL Forums. There are 2 main causes you get this error message. Maybe: 1)It is relative with a temporal problem at the region you are trying to log or with maintenace we have often. Always don't forget to check http://status.secondlifegrid.net/ If so, is possible to fix the problem if you log in a different region. Try to log in a protected land like Smith, Exeuxoa or Anzere and see if that helps. If you use the official viewer and you can't select a different region, in your log in screen give the command: Menu Me --> Preferences --> General Tab --> Enable "Show on login" --> OK. After click the down arrow where it says "Start at" and choose <Type region name> --> Smith --> Login. 2)It is relative with invalid characters in your group tag. If so, you will fix the problem if you remove or change it. If you remember which group tag you wear, log in with an alt (alternative / another account), find the owner or a manager of the group, explain who you are and ask them to eject you of the group. If you are the group owner, again log in with an alt and change the group tag. If it is no possible, tell your friends to delete the group. When they all leave, your group in 48 hours will stop to exist, so you will fix your problem. In any case if you are a premium and you can't find a solution, you can submit a ticket https://support.secondlife.com/create-case/ --> Account issue --> Second Life Web Login Issues. Report there the problem analytically and wait for a reply. Good luck.

  11. Hello Crisialfa and welcome to SL Forums. Except of your system specs, tell us about your internet connection. For example if you use wireless, avoid it and prefer direct cable connection. Also, do you crash during the logging in process? During teleporting? Suddently? Did you try something so far? Click "Options" on the right and "Edit" adding more details. You can post easily your computer specs with Menu Help --> About Second Life. Take a copy and paste here.

To do that: 1)Uninstall all viewers using the windows control panel 2)Delete all contests into the following folders C: \ Users \ (USER NAME) \ ApplData \ Local \ Secondlife C: \ Users \ (USER NAME) \ AppData \ Roaming \ SecondLife (into this folder you can except only the folder with your name copying it in another position in your hard disk in order to keep your chat and im logs) C: \ Users \ (USER NAME) \ ApplData \ Local \ PhoenixViewer C: \ Users \ (USER NAME) \ ApplData \ Local \ SingularityViewer (same with all viewers) 3)Download fresh copies and install them See if that helps. Contact the merchant asking for support.
  16. Hello Cici. If you are able to log in with your other accounts, did you try to log in a different region? Protected lands like Smith or Exeuxoa are recommended. If it doesn't work, clear your cache under preferences in your log in screen and try again. It is suggested to do that periodically, especially if you use more than one accounts with the same computer / laptop.

  18. Hello cafebabe. I can't say that prim eyes are better but sure there are differences. Prim eyes have more "options". However for most residents are completely unnecessary. Prim eyes are useful for avatars with prim heads, like furry for example. Prims eyes also can change textures, think also that you can wear a red left eye and a blue right eye, they can glow or no and also to have some effects like flames etc. On the other side you must to be very careful to fit them perfectly. I am happy with my normal eyes and i have no reason to wear prim eyes, but this is just my opinion.
  19. Hello junfrost and welcome to SL Forums. Rolig gave you very good suggestions. I want only to point something. I think you know that your system hasn't the best specs in the world. It is an old one. With voice, media stream and other similar features you overwork your computer so much. With 1GB ram and with a Nvidia 6600 (was the lowest threshold to run SL looooong time ago when LL published the page with SL system requirements - seems that now is completely out of date), i would be grateful simply to run SL, even in medium or low possibly performance.
  20. Hello Kylie. Almost every time i open a box i get this message with V3. What i do about. I wait "Loading contests" (more than when loading finishes), i copy them and i wait again. In the beginning i don't see all of them but after some seconds, i do. If eventually i notice that i 've missed some, i delete the folder and i repeat all the process. In addition, move in a region with less lag. Always it helps. When you get the first 10 items wait some seconds and you will get the rest. EDIT: You are very welcome, Kylie!

  22. Hello klmberley. If you use Firestorm, click the Firestorm button (show quick preferences panel) right on the down toolbar --> Height offset and fix it. If you use another viewer, post back here adding more details about your viewer and what you have tried so far. (options --> Edit).

Click "Save". Check if your firewall blocks the program. More about how you can configure your firewall allowing access to SL here. Check out if you have any sort of download limits or restrictions on your connecton Do you run your O.S. as administrator? If nothing works, try to download a Third-Party Viewer Ask a friend to download the application for you and transfer it to your computer with a memory stick. Good luck.
  24. Hello Nushly and welcome to SL Forums. Start with an avatar test. In Viewer 3 you find it under Menu Develop (Ctrl+Alt+Q) --> Avatar --> Character Tests --> Test Male / Female. Normally this will remove from your avatar everything is possible to cause the problem. If this does no help you can try the suggestions here: http://wiki.secondlife.com/wiki/Invisible_Avatar If you use the official viewer i would recommend you to log in with a TPV. We had in past cases where resident fixed the issue that way.

You can describe with your own words the substance of the reply. About your problem now. If the merchant(s) can't refund or replace the stuff, you have to submit a a ticket --> Marketplace category --> Failed Marketplace Delivery. Explain analytically what was happened, include the order number and the name(s) of the item(s) that failed to be delivered and wait for a reply.
