It must be my Martian brain that complicates things. -

Sometimes the Martian's command of English slang is lacking. And sometimes it isn't. -

Hi there Sweet Twin. I'll gather up some Unicorns and Flutterbies so we can party. And a Cuppa and Bisuits are always wonderful. -

Thank you for letting your twin know I missed her. That was sweet of you. -
Reporting a fraud and curious for the result
Perrie Juran replied to Nemi Scorpio's question in Abuse and Griefing
First, LL never tells the result of their investigation. Second, as a rule LL does not get involved in User to User disputes and this more than likely will be assigned to that category. -

While I am not a shoe fetish per se I will have to say those look yummy. Very yummy! /me searches for a bottle of champagne. -
Perhaps I should have said an "end user's guide." Those are aimed at setting up and administration. I did learn a couple of things but saw nothing you could consider a guide for the "end user forum member."

I checked https://invisionpower.com/ for any kind of user guide or faq but did not see one.

Is your twin still around? I miss her. She was kind of sweet. -
I'd agree with the longer time frame. Sometimes I will find out later on the information I posted was wrong or I'll change my opinion. When this has happened my habit has been to strike (not delete) my post and then state my change.

Thanks Phil, I see the dialogue box now when I hover my cursor use over the dot. I probably would have eventally discovered it. But I'm still puzzled about the "Read Status" in my OP, what it's actually for and why it doesn't remain persistant.

Gah, this setting does not appear to be persistent. May have to start a JIRA.

I hope no one loses their job over this. Except for you know who.

As we are all learning how this new Forum works I am seeing helpful hints scattered through many threads. I've started this thread to help consolidate helpful hints in one place. The above is my (first) contribution: How to get a page to load "to the first unread content." Please feel free to add other hints you think will be of benefit. Thanks

Talking of SLU, I wonder if links to it will work now. Testing, Testing, Testing.

I like that https://ctrlq.org/images/ But if I was trying to keep track of images I use all the time I might prefer http://imgur.com/

Well dag nab........tonight it's working. Thanks Innula.

test Doing some testing here for image hosting. So far have not been able to insert pictures from Tinypic or Photobucket. But Imgur appears to work if you choose the "direct link" URL.

Edit cut-off is a bit quick, to say the least.
Perrie Juran replied to Phil Deakins's topic in Forums Feedback
Agreed. Otherwise why even have this sub-forum? And while it may sound harsh to some people, they get paid to put up with us, not the other way around. -

Looks are one thing but what about functionality? I can point to some serious shortcomings on that point. Like the ability to go to the first unread post in a thread. Or where to host pictures for use here? Have failed with photobucket and tinypic but I did succeed by ripping a URL off of someone else's web site. For however buggy Lithium may have been it also had some extremely useful features.

Playing around here with this.... So we can "link" photos from other websites. Actually that is a sucky thing if we don't own the website and what will happen when someone has their website coded to replace the picture with some choice porn?

I tried several variations from tinypic.com with no success. Using Firefox.
