Fix what? nobody here can fix anything, besides there are certain requirements for companies like LL to have that require most prepaid cards to not work, you'll find more than SL that does this too, it's hit or miss too depending on the payment processor that issued the card too.

You mention sim charges, you are never going to get them much lower, you will affect LL's bottom line and I suspect LL will not be happy to lose money, AWS is not cheap, OZ Linden said it himself, their physical data center they had costed less, the aws center they are in costs them more to use. So you want cheaper sims, expect everything else to be adjusted so they can maintain running the service and make a profit.

I have certain builds I do not want others owned, so this idea is not something I could support.

it was confusing us when it hit the beta for the tests, some of us figured it out and passed the word around, but seems it didnt make it outside the tests, luckily this thread works.

hm I must of misread the page wrong then, I thought xmpp was still the chat service LL was using on the backend.

@Monty Linden is there any possibility for this to be re-implemented? as being able to setup a xmpp chat through piggin or some such would be beneficial for text chatting.

You only have one legal option. dcma https://dmca.lindenlab.com but make sure you have your ducks in a row and in order before you file anything, they can counter file too upon you, which is their legal right to do. So if you really think this is your hair, then you must file legally with the dmca take down and proceed through the process.
