    uploaded sounds' lifetime

    If we upload a sound clip, use its uuid in a script and delete the sound from inventory. It will still work in script, right ?

    Sound notifications on local chat

    I had the normal SL Viewer, the one you can download from the official page of Second Life. It started working really really slow and crashing a lot, so I tried installing Firefox. It's true it goes smoother now, but I can't get the sound notifications every time someone writes something on local chat. I'm talking about the so annoying beep (but so necessary for me when I have another window open or I'm AFK) that sounds on every single message on local chat, not just private messages. Does anyone know how to get that sound notification on local chat? Or any recommendations about viewers who allow to play them (apart from the official SL Viewer)? Thanks

    Script of a police siren

    Hello! Help please create a script of a police siren. So far I have managed to create such a script, but for some reason it does not work. please tell me where did i make a mistake? It should turn on / off by click and blink blue / red lights. the sound is excellent, but there is a problem with the light.   7. ok im sorry if this is the wrong forum to post this, But Yesterday ALL the sounds related to my gestures (either Bought or Collected) in my 2yrs here have suddenly disappeared. That is to say the gestures themselves are ok just all related audio does anyone have an idea why this would happen? Gestures that I made are fine and audio file still intact . any help would be greatly appreciated

You wear this object on your avatar. 2. You write in chat "play" or "on". 3. You listen music and you avatar dancing. So, i got some code but i am still don't know how to make "silent acept permition animation", cuz when you wear object on avat that asks you about to acept animation. How much dancers like this i see before they are never ask me about permision and you just write "play" in chat an it works.   11. Say I want to ring a bell, or whatever sound, in the viewer of the owner of the object -- but NOT annoy everyone around me - llPlaySound etc is heard by everyone. - best I can tell, there is no way to play a sound only to myself ??
  12. Hello! I'm trying to create a script of an exploding barrel. I want the object (the barrel - a single mesh object) to explode when bullets hit it - throwing out the explosion particles, making a sound, maybe becoming physical and flying off to the side and self destruct. Have any ideas? Thank you! If I ask to scripters - how much could it cost to write such a script these days?

    Hello! A question about full lenght songs. Why do some sound files start to play faster than others? I use the usual music player, but I have to wait for the song to be loaded. Some songs are played almost immediately, others have to wait. And does not depend on that for the first or the tenth time I listen to the song. On what does it depend? Any help please! Thanks!

  17. I am playing podcasts through the Sound setting on my land settings. The Media settings are blank. Still there is a kind of music streem playing with Danish ads, now and then, but I have no knowledge about where it came from. I am Danish so I am thinking that I must have created somthing that does this but I have no idea how it happened. Could I have created a sound streaming object without noticing? And how can I find it (to delete it)?

    Hello! I want to create a script that allows you to play different sounds with each animation (e.g. running, walking, swimming...) based on the simple walker script. How it should look like? Is it possible to assign a separate sound for each animation with such script? Perhaps you will advise to be based on another script? Thank you.     Deleting product from land

    Hi ,I recently was invited to a friends Land to make it my Home spot. in the past week or so I was Gifted a product called egg pooper by a different friend. I rez'ed it on home land and now the darnn thing will not go away I have deleted it ,picked it up, deleted from inventory, and it keeps coming back. Now the owner of land has sent me a message to get rid of it . am I doing something wrong? I don't want to get Banned from My Friends Land (land Owner) Thanks

    Sound on my land

    Today something new is happening on my land (http://maps.secondlife.com/secondlife/Cyalore/82/8/31) .... there is music which is not from my settings. I don't know exactly where it is coming from but it's invasive and also screws up music that is set up in my "about land" preferences as it plays over the music I intend to play. How can I stop this fast?
