then how could he rez a cube in no build area, after he left i went there with one of my alts and i could not rez a cube,i keep 2 alts just to check such things, one to check my security and another to check things like can it rez a cube in a no build area , and it can't

I found then in lost and found, i guess those 3 i did 'nt set to group,, as soon as SL straightens out i'lll re rez then and set them to group Something wrong with SL right now, the land info is 'nt working, all blank

I have 4 magic boxes on my island, my shop is 3000ft up, Recently i had some person come to my shop and said i had a security leak because it says no build and her could rez a box. I assume he was using some script to do that so i decided to turn scripts off. Later i checked my items on MP and all were pink, and not available, i assumed it was because i had turned off scripts on the area where they are. I have a small area that is used for our change room where people can open packages and scripts are turned on. So i moved the magic boxes to that area, resynced MP with the magic boxes, everything went white and all were available now. But the problem is, i went back to look at the magic boxes and 3 had gone, i checked scripts in estate debug and i can only see one x street box there. but if i resync MP with the boxes that are' nt there now everything is ok,When i resync MP with the boxes everything is ok, it shows everything is available. Anyone had this happen, i have 'nt a clue where the other 3 magic boxes are but in resync MP seems to find them

Glad to hear you got it sorted, i guess we really don't know what caused yours

hi Paranormal, after trying everthing i could think of, i decided to bypass my router and put the cable directly into my laptop, that fixed it, it was a very slow router causing my problem. I had another one i had bought a long time ago and hooked that in and now i can log in, Hope yours is as simple. I know it' s frustrating. As for the case you submitted it prob. won't get looked at for a while (weeks in my experience) i give up on submitting cases, a yearly membership does not buy anything extra there.

I just put a ticket in too, but if it's like any i have put in before it won't get looked at for weeks

Thanks Paranormal, at least i'm not alone, i guess i'll put ticket in. this has been going on for 6 hours now. I tried making my start place the mesh place they advertise, and i get a message saying " unable to correct to grid, Often it's because your computer clock is set incorrectly" I checked that and it's ok, if i try to log into my own sim, it says "Despite our best efforts something has gone wrong.

Is anyone else having a problem logging in, i get the log in screen but it hangs and does not log in, it' been like that all morning and it's afternoon now I see nothing on the grid status about it

That happened to me the other day, i logged in and i had no facial features or body features. i was just a pink thing, no eyes. in invent my shape said Ruth, which is a default skin and shape I could nt do much, could nt go into edit appearance, next time i logged in i got a message about my body parts not being found in the data base. After a while, next time i logged in i was the same, i went to my invent, and put on my shape ,skin, clothes hair, and i was my old self again. Can't give you more of an answer than that, except it did eventually clear up, but you will have to builld yourself again, put on shape, skin, hair etc.

I know chat lag has been bad, but since this latest " hardware update" yesterday i can't create a new shirt in edit appearance, it happened yesterday and a new white shirt to apply a texture to eventually popped up, today was ok this morning but this afternoon, i have no facial features or body features, can't go into edit appearance, Takes forever to rez something, i copied my shop displays of bikinis to take up to the platform to work on, took about 3 min to appear in my invent, and about the same to rez up there I'm at a dead standstill ,i wanted to make up some bikini s and do the displays I see no post on here about this am i alone in this? I also got that " your clothing is still downloading " on log in, half hour later i went to try put a shape on and skin , but it says i can't cos my clothing is still downloading, i have a ruth shape on according to my inventory I've done the clear cache bit, i use Phoenix so i tried the SL viewer but no change Logged in and out again, just got a message that said " Failed to find body part in database" been on SL since 2007 and never had this problem before Seems to be ok now, i built myself back up with shape and skin and clothes and edit appearance seems to work now

I gave up paying for enhancements,did'nt make any difference.,there are so many merchants using MP that one is like a needle in a haystack, which is the same as inworld search really. To get an idea how many are listing on MP search various items and see how many pages show,thousands in many cases

I agree about the marketplace,i have been mentioning about that for a long time now,it's LL s way to tax every sale we make and make money from us,which of course they can't do inworld. But it shows LL has suffered in land sales because of marketplace, who needs to own or rent land anymore when they can have free shop on MP. It proves the land point when LL had that land sales a couple of weeks ago,dropping the 1000US set up fee. In this world economy people can't afford LL s land price monthly tier. I have a large shop and business is very slow, we never showed in search, i could never find us with my keywords, I took out a classified ad last week 17000L business was good, and i was on the first or second page in search depending which keyword i searched. I thought once i dropped the classified i would go back into search oblivion but no i am still on first or second page of search depending what keyword i use. Untill another world comes along sl will be the top world,but all in all i have very little problem with it myself. Last week we had a problem, there were islands going offline but it was more than that, i could nt move at times, lag was very bad, rubberbanding ,,vendors in my shop stopped working, LL never did say to what extent the problem was but they seem to have fixed it. I can only assume LL does nt listen to us because we have so many complaints, much like the occupy people in RL, they have compaints about hundreds of things they don' t like about capitalism, Maybe we need to have a representitive group to meet with LL to resove our complaints, LL does need to keep the grid staus page updated and current, i have problems and keep checking that page and never see anything about any problems untill its pretty well fixed, or not at all Also in that silly sl viewer they need to list the classified ads on the left side of the page in order of price ( like the Phoenix viewer )instead of random order, i would think most people would look at the left side ads with the pictures and choose from that rather than the right side,yes they can click the relevance order option but most people would never think of relevance by price.and why should they, Those paying big money for a classified ad should be in order top down on the left side, i know the right side is but i would think most would shop from the ad with pictures.

Unfortunatley that does nt always work, our shop is 3500 ft up and the island is out of bounds so there is only one landing point in the shop

I agree that why we supply a private dressing room well above the store, we also have an unpacking area in the shop. What i have also done with the dressing room is provide a lots of boards with information for those new to secondlife. I think you will find the shops that take forever to rez are on mainland, i hate going there it's usually soooooo laggy, Otherwisw it sometimes depends on the state of SL, right now there is a problem in SL, vendors are going inactive, chat is slow and some regions are going offline,sometimes i can't teleport or move.

I think we can safely say SL weighs search in favor of those who spend L$, i just proved that, that is why i am so surprised by that I gave up on search a long time ago and just resigned myself to stop worry about something i can't do anything about

Of course i will do that but thats not the point here, the point is how search is run by SL, it's iunfair and has always been unfair. My point is , i never ever found myself in search, i have a full region, i pay a classified and i get moved in front of everyone else in search. That is not fair, i paid that 17000L to be in a good position in classified, i never thought i would also be moved to the first page of search. I find that unfair to everyone else in search, but i do realize some use tricks to get a good position in search. Of couse i benefit from it and it is a nice to be on the front page, but i was surprised to see that

Just a little search experience I have had a shop for a while now, about 2 years and search has always been a thorn in my side.( and everyones) I have tried those search tools you buy but they never seemed to do anything much, search bot never seemed to find me in search, i continually dropped in and out. I put in a ticket about dropping out of search and i was told to try leaving a space after the comma in the keywords, ( like that will improve anything he hee ) So i resigned myself to hope i would be found in search, i was getting about 5 to 10 visitors a day so you know business was nt that good, but i like having the shop. I took a classified ad out last week, cost me 17000L for a week and guess what i magically appeared on the first page of search in most of my keywords, never before has that happened, so i guess they have search set up that if you pay a classified ad they will move you into a good search position and for me i have never ever made the first page of search, in fact i have never been able to find me in search usinig my keywords, i usually give up after 40 or so pages. I was in the 1st position searching hair, 10th postion in skins. and on the first page in many other of my keywords,,a dream come true,, but in SL you have to pay, pay, pay.i guess As soon as i drop that classified i will be blown back into oblivion

nope , ill log out and try what you say and yes you are right SL is very good most of the time but for about a week now its been a little wonky, we have race track and we race our cars up there but lately it's been impossible we keep going off into never never land all the time,making it impossible to race. Re starting does nt seem to help

Cant log into my land, and i get sent to that silly laggy place they send you to when your home is nt available and as usual i check the grid status but i guess it's all ok and IT'S in my head because there is nothing on there about it, AS USUAL
