  1. I've been working on correcting listings that had item title & description erased by the bug. Good news - it looks like the system delay in reflecting edits has been corrected. I'm finding that after editing and saving, the changes are being reflected immediately (as they should). Bad news - items without Titles and descriptions have not been fixed. They cannot be purchased. That is lost sales. Here's a view of a category in the MP in Japanese https://bit.ly/2TthoAh - as you scroll down, you'll see items without titles - they cannot be purchased if the shopper is shopping in Japanese (this example) and result in Internal Server Error message. If the shopper switches to English, the title is restored and the sale goes through successfully. This needs to be fixed.
  2. Sometimes the missing picture can be due to an ad blocker in your browser. If you've got one, turn it off, refresh and take another look. Pictures may reappear.
  3. Same experience here, Brooke. Editing is not being saved consistently and/or being applied hours later (ridiculously slow). My biggest concern (for my store, maybe not yours or others) is that Item Titles and descriptions for all languages other than English have been erased by the system bug. If someone is shopping in a language other than English they may not even notice my listings, or, if they do, their attempt to purchase will fail since the cashier cannot process a transaction without an Item title. I desperately want this fixed. I have a feeling there are many Merchants affected who don't even realize it. Why would they? It's not a normal business task to go back to already created listings and page through languages to see if your copy is still there or erased. Not sure why you can't comment on the JIRA I created except to say that a while back JIRA was made very difficult to add comments to due to griefing. Could also be that Spidey Linden accepted the JIRA. If you add a link to your JIRA here in this thread, I'll go over and see if I can add comments. I'll certainly vote for it to gain some visibility.
  4. All I can say is that something is really broken. This morning I went to manually update listings for missing titles and descriptions. - The issue of edits to listings not being saved appears to be a timing issue. Some edits are displayed immediately upon saving. Others appear hours afterwards. Completely random and slow. - I used Manage Listings Search to isolate a group of my "fat packs" so I could do the edits. However, search only recognized those items prior to listing yesterday: https://gyazo.com/f7f5b6a91fbc256e052e7e70bdd8189f The 5 new fat packs that I listed yesterday (and are active) are not coming up when I search Manage listings for "fat pack" (or any other search term that should bring them up). They show up only in the general Manage Listings page without any search terms used. https://gyazo.com/0d23e84ed53d4dd2ea05fe7095a33b20 - I can't say how severe the impact on business may be because of these listings problems, but I do know it is negative. Customers viewing items in their language (other than English) cannot purchase items without titles. The sale fails and returns Internal Server error messages, so those sales are lost. The Manage Listings search issue seems more of a Merchant headache than a customer one. It strikes me that all these problems are related and due to some change that was made to the MP Listings function in general (even though I have not heard anything about such a change).
  5. Hi there, that HUD is for the 4.0 version, not the 5.xx version. The 5.xx version doesn't have alpha save slots along the bottom. So that's why your body isn't responding. Make sure to wear the new HUD that goes with the new (5.xx) body. That "should" solve it for you. Edited to add: Actually, that looks like maybe you have both of them on? I say that because the upper portion of that HUD is correct for the 5.xx, but the lower portion with the alpha save slots is from the 4.xx version. Here's a side by side snapshot of the 5.xx on the left and 4.xx on the right. https://gyazo.com/0e56c2aa6bc9255af915fc29fbec6ad6 Edited: Ok, I'm totally wrong. I didn't have the newest HUD for the Maitreya 5.xx version. That is the 5.1 HUD. I missed the update, so you ARE wearing the correct HUD. Possibly not the matching body? So sorry, it is quite confusing with the various versions. The only way I can get those results is by combining the 4.1 body with the 5.1 HUD.
  6. I've experimented with all different ways of creating a listing. Auto fill/bulk fill, individual. I know the issue that you're referring to and there was a workaround that I have used successfully to this day. If you are interested in more details, take a look at the JIRA I filed. I've been going back to manually edit listings and there are real issues - for instance I edited the main description then copied it over to all the languages - then checked the listing - the main description does not reflect the change, while all the languages do. There is something very wrong. Also, if an item is missing a title in an alternate language and the customer is shopping in that language, it cannot be purchased. The shopper makes it to check out, but the system does not recognize the item and returns an Internal Server Error message and the sale fails. This is a big issue.
  7. Just tried this with a listing that did not have an item title or description in a non-English language. The invoice shows only the Merchant name and visit the store link. No item name. I tried to buy it and got the (Internal) Server Error message, so you are absolutely right!
  8. The MP listing process and editing function appear to be broken. I was listing some new items this morning and discovered that: 1. Once a new listing is completed, any edits thereafter are not being saved to the webpage. Same holds true for existing listings - edits are not being applied. 2. In my store, item titles and descriptions are missing for alternative languages - I list in English, so the French, German, Japanese, Spanish, Portuguese are missing titles and descriptions. This has affected both new and old listings. My listings have always had all fields (title, description, features) and tabs/languages filled. Now they are blank, except for English. I tried to edit/correct several manually (individually and in bulk) but, the system is totally inconsistent in applying the edits - even within a bulk edit group. A listing may display the correct info in English, French German on the webpage, but Japanese, Spanish, Portuguese are still blank. I checked other stores and found totally inconsistent results - some have missing titles and descriptions, others only partially, and others appear unaffected. This may or may not affect your store, so best just to take a peek to see. Also, it may be affecting whether your customers can check out - there are several threads on "Access denied" and "Internal Server" errors that are active on the forum. They may or may not be related somehow (they just could be browser/cookie issues and not this). However, today, I saw a post saying that the person was unable to purchase an item because the title and description were missing. The comment is at the end of this thread https://community.secondlife.com/forums/topic/446541-marketplace-issues/?tab=comments#comment-2071867 I created a JIRA based on my experience. Please add comments if you are finding related problems. https://jira.secondlife.com/browse/BUG-228270
  9. Genya, I am so glad I just saw your post. Yes, something is wrong with the listings. I've been trying to list new items and correct the errors/missing information on others all morning. The system sometimes takes the edit and other times does not - totally inconsistent. I just filed a JIRA for this issue: https://jira.secondlife.com/browse/BUG-228270 I don't know if it is related to the Internal Server Error or other errors mentioned in this thread.
  10. For almost a week, the traffic numbers on some sims have not been updating. They are frozen. It is unclear how widespread this issue is since normally when this happens there is considerable discussion here on the forums. There is a thread started in general discussion, but only a few have commented https://community.secondlife.com/forums/topic/449385-traffic-numbers-not-changing-anybody-know-whats-up-with-that. Support tickets have been filed and a JIRA created. However, there has been no response from LL. It's unclear how to get LL's attention to fix the issue since all the correct methods have been tried. So, I'm trying here. If others are experiencing this, here's the JIRA so that you can vote/comment: https://jira.secondlife.com/browse/BUG-228205
  11. Yup, still an issue here too. Filed a ticket this morning, so that makes one from me and one from my estate manager and not a peep from LL. I do wonder though, in the past, when traffic count has gotten stuck, there's been a lot of buzz on the forums. This time its very quiet except for this thread (thank you xoJustineox for starting it). Edited to add: Just created a JIRA here: https://jira.secondlife.com/browse/BUG-228205 It's public, so you should be able to vote on it and add comments.
  12. Happening on my sim too. Chic is right, this does happen every so often without any explanation. The estate manager for my sim filed a ticket this morning. So, if you haven't already, file a ticket saying that traffic is stuck. If they receive enough notices from residents, they "should" look into it and fix it.
  13. Orwar, you're so lovely to help. My skin is an older Pink Fuel skin "Ember" that does not have appliers. I just went to the PF store and picked up some demos that are full body skins with appliers. However, what you have recommended does work, the neck seam disappears. So, I need to update my skin in order to use V5. Thank you so much!
  14. The PF skin I use doesn't have an applier version which is why I use the Glam Affair that Maitreya includes and then tint it to match. If the neck fix were a separate object that could be worn and tinted, there wouldn't be a problem.
  15. Here are some screen shots to illustrate what I am experiencing. I get great results in non-BoM mode with neck fix ON (always have). When the neck fix is OFF, the seam is visible. Yes, I do realize lighting can affect the result - these pictures are actually the best result I can get - noon sun; ALM off. I generally don't use ALM for a variety of reasons that are off topic here. Non BoM mode: V4.1: Pink Fuel Ember skin on head; Glam Affair skin on body (from Maitreya HUD and tinted to match); Neck fix ON -> no seam https://gyazo.com/1d681499b487d446fabffbba59f2643c V5: Pink Fuel Ember skin on head; Glam Affair skin on body (from Maitreya HUD and tinted to match); Neck fix ON -> no seam https://gyazo.com/63212918a7e7a13336832aa6330aea1e V5/V4.1: Pink Fuel Ember skin on head; Glam Affair skin on body (from Maitreya HUD and tinted to match); Neck fix OFF -> visible seam https://gyazo.com/4aa3628bdb09460eb0fb7f40206031a5 BoM mode: V5: Pink Fuel Skin and Neck fix OFF -> visible seam https://gyazo.com/b483e1fd8e1d1f9cae9a5faf5dfbd0ee V5: Pink Fuel Skin with Neck fix ON -> Neck fix does not retain the custom tint and reverts to the base Glam Affair color used. It cannot be tinted without affecting the PF skin on the body resulting in a horrid mismatch. https://gyazo.com/0ca8b919741cd42cf05c220fadaaa7c4
  16. Thanks Orwar! I'll check it out. Having experimented with a variety of BoM and Classic skins at this point, the issue (for me) isn't the skins. It's the combination of a default head and mesh body that causes the neck seam to be so pronounced and the only way to mask it is with a neck fix. I've been using BoM since it was released last summer with the Slink Redux body without issue. For Maitreya though, it appears the neck fix only works for the non-BoM mode. I'm going to contact Maitreya customer support regarding the issue and see what they can tell me.
  17. When I wear the PF skin, that's all I wear - I'm not tinting it at all. I do understand there will be a difference between the default head and the mesh body, which is why I have always used the neck fix to blend them. With Slink, the neck fix is a separate piece and can be worn independently. With Maitreya, it appears it is part of the Glam Skin appliers on the HUD. I tried using the Slink neck fix but it doesn't fit. I think that unless Maitreya makes the neck fix a separate item that can be tinted, residents with the default head/mesh body combination are going to suffer that neck seam if they try to wear the v5 BoM version.
  18. I got the update and I like it very much. I use a system head with the Maitreya body. There are 2 issues: - Even though the second group/line of skins is supposed to match the v4.1 skins, they don't. So to wear the body with my default head and Pink Fuel skin (that doesn't have a body applier. Its an older one, but I love it), I have to rematch the neck fix. Ok, can do. Not as good a match as v4.1, but it'll do. So I save that config to a save stick. - When I change to BoM, the neck fix immediately reverts to the un-retouched skin. So I use the save stick to apply the modified skin color and the entire body goes back to non-BoM. It won't apply to the neck fix only. I have tried with a BoM skin (head and body) and the same thing happens. Regardless of the skin I wear, the neck seam is extremely visible. I tried the skin color tattoos that are included with the v5 release, but there's nothing even close to my skin color and it appears those can't be tinted. There's really no way (for me) to wear the BoM v5 without the neck fix because that line is too pronounced. What am I missing or doing incorrectly?
  19. On the MP it is called: Maitreya Bakes on Mesh Relay HUD So enter that in search and it will take you right to it.
  20. You can see the item listing number at the end of the address, like here: https ://marketplace.secondlife.com/p/XYZExample/123456789 You would have to have some reference point to determine the actual listing date. For instance, today 1 9 2020, the newest listing (at this writing) is 18769166. The oldest listing is 39787. So you can take a look at the reference number on the item you are curious about and make an estimation from that. I've done it when I'm curious - but since I'm a merchant I can look at my own listing dates and get a much better approximation (i.e., an item I listed on 9 10 2014 was the 6376763rd item listed on the MP - so I can use that method for approximating dates of other items). For a non-merchant, I think it's probably going to be very frustrating - in that case, the easiest way would be to ask the Merchant.
  21. Hi Chandu141, Here's a link to the MP listing policies: https://marketplace.secondlife.com/listing_guidelines Selling real world goods is not allowed on the MP: Listings for Real-World Goods or Services. The SL Marketplace is only for digital content and services that are designed and intended for use with the Second Life virtual world technology. We expressly prohibit the listing or sale of any and all goods or services designed or intended to be delivered in the real world, for example, delivered in person or mailed or shipped to a physical address, or digital content designed or intended for use exclusively outside of Second Life. As for what you do in world - that's up to you. However, I do agree with Wulfie that the average SL user is not likely to share real world details.
  22. Hi there Rasterscan, I was curious about this so I tried it with an alt. The MP charged the correct amount - 1L commission on a 10L item. Purchased on: December 30, 2019 11:26 AM PST Buyer's Price (for delivered items): L$10 Distributions Total (for delivered items): L$0 Marketplace Commission (for delivered items): L$1 Your Earnings (for delivered items): L$9 This is the info in the MP Fee and Listing Policies: SL MARKETPLACE FEES AND COMMISSIONS FOR MARKETPLACE SELLERS: Seller Sales Commissions We charge SL Marketplace merchants a Commission for each sale that the seller makes (“Commission”). Commission rates are ten (10) percent of the listed price, rounded to the nearest Linden Dollar (L$). So, if you are seeing 2L taken out on a 10L item, file a support ticket for sure!
  23. Well, it appears that error is coming up for secondlife.com as well as the MP. My.secondlife.com seems to be connecting ok at the moment. No mention of the issue on Second Life Status page. Going to file a support ticket... Update (30 seconds later, lol) - both sites are reachable now (for me). This does need to be addressed by LL though - it is happening sporadically and unpredictably, so something's not working properly.
  24. Getting the same error here. Internal Server Error - Read The server encountered an internal error or misconfiguration and was unable to complete your request. Reference #3.7fa65b68.1575838573.31ff0ca7
