  1. You could start by looking at the Objects in the Region, in the About Land page, and see "who" owns what. Create a group, set the Land to the Group and deed all the objects to the Group. Any objects that cannot be found, should be returned. Builders only need to be Estate Managers. And for the Group, they only need to be Officers, with the ability to Deed Objects, terra form. It is unlikely that all three Caches are not rendering properly. You should compare Graphic settings, to determine who can see what. Exchange Snapshots of the Region, with the Builders. Clear your Cache. If it is possible, and practicable, I would return all objects, and start over. Rez (1) copy of every object you want to use, Deed each object to the Group. Confirm that the Builders can move the objects.
  2. Review Section .4 in the link: http://community.secondlife.com/t5/English-Knowledge-Base/Selling-in-the-Marketplace/ta-p/700193#Section_.4 If you need additional assistance, you can create a Question in the link below, to allow for a greater number of Residents to see your question. Include the specifics of your issue, file types, error messages, key words used,( which may be blocked by a Filter). http://community.secondlife.com/t5/Answers/qac-p/Answers
  3. In my opinion, I'm sick of this WoW is great, crap. How many Free Accounts, does WoW have? I'm not talking about 10 day free trials; permanent free Accounts. How many? How many Paid users? This thread is misleading. The last time, was about 1 month ago. The Region was stuck in the rebake for pathfinding. My support case was answered within 2 hours. Support is not perfect, and it can be improved. First thing I would do, would be to add a dedicated European Support Team, and a Team specifically for Free Accounts. Free Account would receive a query number. 1,234 Residents are in line. Wait your turn, or, shell out some cash, for faster service. I once had the opportunity to read some Support Tickets. I could not believe the amount of minutia contained in the Tickets, and the fact that a Linden was dispatched, to remove a box from a Resident's head. Unreal. I thought important things were being handled. Nope, most of the Tickets are from people who are too lazy to help themselves. Yeah, some Npiof Residents do spend money, but that money is not predictable. It is whimsical, based upon if the Resident feels like it. Pay for 1 year, and you are bound. That money can be placed into future planning by LL. Get onboard, or, realize that you are not on the boat; you're only swimming next it. KYOO (keeping your options open)

  5. It is my opinion, that LL does have duty of care, and that LL communicates that intent, in the following links, and passages: http://secondlife.com/corporate/cs.php Welcome to the Second Life world! We hope you'll have a richly rewarding experience, filled with creativity, self expression and fun. The goals of the Community Standards are simple: treat each other with respect and without harassment, adhere to local standards as indicated by simulator ratings, and refrain from any hate activity which slurs a real-world individual or real-world community. Behavioral Guidelines - The 'Big Six' Within Second Life, we want to support Residents in shaping their specific experiences and making their own choices. The Community Standards sets out six behaviors, the 'Big Six', that will result in suspension or, with repeated violations, expulsion from the Second Life Community. http://secondlife.com/corporate/tos.php#tos11 11.4 We may suspend or terminate your Account(s) to protect the best interests of Second Life and the Second Life community or if we believe you pose an unacceptable risk to the Second Life community. http://wiki.secondlife.com/wiki/Linden_Lab_Official:Community_Participation_Guidelines We want to foster an honest and open exchange of ideas on our community pages; to do that, we want to encourage all participants to maintain an atmosphere of courtesy and respect for others at all times. 8. I can understand that this is trying time for you, and I can assure you, that I feel your pain. By no means do I intend to create additional frustration for you, but Linden Memorial Park is not closed. There are plenty of other Resident contributions located there, and recent changes. Any considerations Linden Lab may extend to you, will be reflective of the potential opportunity provided to myself, should I ever be in the same position, as you are in now. The land is owned by Linden Lab. I believe in, and support, offering recognition to Residents like you, by ensuring that our Community History, is preserved, even if it is only a small part. If you wish for me to pursue this matter; I can do some research, to discover exactly "who", is the proper Linden to contact. I can IM you, with my results.
  9. Did you contact Support, to request for space in Linden Memorial Park? I realize that a small memorial may not be ideal, but at least it's something.
  10. If you have purchased the optional Premium Membership, you may contact Second Life Support, at any time, for any reason. Support will advise you, as to how to proceed. Residents who have decided to not purchase the additional Membership options, may also contact Support at any time, however, your options will be limited; as will be the response from Support. If you have specific feedback, specifically regarding this Forum, you may post here: http://community.secondlife.com/t5/Forums-Feedback/bd-p/forums_feedback http://community.secondlife.com/t5/English-Knowledge-Base/How-to-contact-customer-support/ta-p/739385
  11. No, a Restricted Account would not be able to access Second Life at any time, login would be disabled. A restricted, or Banned Account, would receive an Email from Linden Lab. Check the email associated with the SL Account. If you are using a University, or School Campus Server, access times may be restricted. Are you getting any Error Messages? Does your Computer meet the Minimum system requirements?
  12. You might be wearing something, that is trying to move your Avatar. Look in your Inventory to see what you are wearing. Check in your Preferences, for Move & View. You may have mouse controls set to an Action when clicking.
  13. I suspect, that a person must first be able to understand what it is like to have nothing, in order to be able to respect, having something. I like the mug :smileyvery-happy:
  14. An arrow in the back, is something. Thank you for thinking about me. :smileyvery-happy:

  17. If you believe it, you can achieve it. You can begin to be successful, by following successful people. You cannot soar like an Eagle, when you fly with Turkeys. In order to be considerate, you should consider all things. That means acquiring knowledge, or, by associating yourself with those who already have knowledge. You can make acquaintances with Residents from almost every Nation, by visiting those Residents where they congregate. I have found Spanish Groups, Polish, Germany, French, Russian, Japanese, Australian, and many others. You might be surprised by what some of those Residents eat for breakfast. You'll have to ask them. In my research, I have found that People from almost all Nations, eat, sleep, laugh, and cry. They have hopes and dreams, just like me. Everything is relevant, when in relevant company. That may sound like double speak, or an overly elementary observation, but it is true in practice. Your attitude, and the attitudes of those who influence you, will effect the atmosphere of the environment in which you dwell. On average, 1 out of 10 dissatisfied Customers, will complain. 9 people cannot find the courage required, to step outside of the box, and to think independently. A Hero, is a person who was braver than the average person, for a few moments longer than the average person. You need to be that 1 person, out of 10, who ventures to speak, expressing your beliefs, in pursuit of your dreams. It's attitude; other people are free to lead, follow, or get out of your way.
  18. I think it is great. I could name 10 products, that I could buy for a total of 10L$. A large number of Residents, have -0- L$. Should those Residents wish to participate in traditional Valentine's Day celebrations, they now have some means to do that. L$, will not be an excuse, as to why, you cannot get me a gift, lol.
