Boo See this picture for how broken i was. http://community.secondlife.com/t5/image/serverpage/image-id/47225i6FD45A9A1D8C49CF/image-size/large?v=mpbl-1&px=600 The way i fixed it, after trying everythign is a FULL uninstall of every SL viewer. and by FULL i mean FULL, nothing left of anything SL on your machine, Pheonix, Firestorm, Linden Viewer, etc. Caches, romaing folders, everything. Then i installed just the Linden Labs viewer and i was fixed. If after you do a FULL uninstall of all viewers you are still borked, then you have no choice but to file a ticket under the category that does not exist :matte-motes-shocked: .

meow one word, CAS9 Poof, instant performance boost. So you spend 1000L on that great attachment, hahahaha

meow I prefer to modify my profile through the browser. Plus the added bonus of not having to upload pictures for your profile. The only thing i dont really like, is profiles are suppose to be for SL residents to see, but with the security you can turn that off, making profiles invisible. I would rather see them remove all non residents ability to see them, and remove security from the legacy parts of the profile so all residents can see them. Security on feeds/posting has to be there for sure. plus yes, use an external browser if you actually want it to come up all the time.

hi thanks my primay skin right now is mynerva carmel color. Its a shame about no RGB. From my experience in adjusting a lot of shoes using a lot of huds, the ones with RGB input as another option gives me the quickest easiest results. Hue and Saturation and Lum are another way to do it but they adjust more then one of the RGB values at a time. Anways thank you for the information, it has made my decision easy :matte-motes-asleep-2:

boo :) I sent a note card to the creator, but am not sure if theywill answer. A simple question about the bare feet tone skin matching. Does it allow entry of RGB values in anyway? The demo did not come with the tone matchign, and that makes me super suspicious about it. I dont see any reason why they should not include that in the demo as that primarly the reason i get the demo is to make sure i can actually tone match before i buy , stores if your listening :) Thanks

Boo Viewer 2/3 based = 700MB jus tto startup. Soon as you start moving around to sims, over 1gig easily. Viewer 1 base is less, but it eventually goes over a gig when in a sim with more avis. Back before Viewer 2 i could esily run 4SL at one time on my 6GIG machine. Now i can only run 2 if i relog a lot to start the memory usage over again. As i write this, my viewer is at 1,571,850 (1.5 gigs of memory). I am on a 64bit system.

omg I never even noticed the questoin mark. It does have help, but nto specific to that symbol, though different types of green symbols denote various heights. From what i can figure they seem to be ones that are above you some significant amount.

Its amazing how many meeroo nests i see in store sims. i have a store, with hundreds of textures, lots of build flashy stuff, and the grassy stuff to make your graphics card scream, customers can barely move when they tp in, so i will add a few hundred meeroo nest, and maybe a heard of horses to :matte-motes-shocked: Sends complaint to linden that my business is dying and i get no traffic.

boo :matte-motes-smile: I can resize mine to just a few pixels in highth, and maybe 100 pixels wide. Its just a normal window like any other window. I can even streach it to span both my 24 inch monitors for super wide sl The size of window drop down is more for graphics mode, ie non windows mode i guess. But tehn all you have is SL, so not sure why you would want to go less then the native resolution of you monitor, unless you are looking for some sort of performance boost.

boo Ok, i have been through this a hundred times myself. Heres some things i did i dont think were mentioned: 1. Develop > Avatar > Character Tests > Test Female - That forces a reload, and in most cases fixes you up. Then rebuid yoruself from a saved outfit. 2. Tattoo layers. OMG, this has been a real problem, multiple makeup layers messing up bad. Remove all tatoo layers, then try. SOmetime put them on in differen order etc. 3. Using multiple viewers sometimes messes things up, ie phoenix, then viewer 3. Had a real issue with that. Resolution, FULL uninstall of all viewers. Maybe repeat Step 1 4. Use a differetn viewer to reset your avi. Believe it or not, but sometimes nothing would get Viewer 3 to rez me, but a quick flip to phoenix and poof i am fixed.

boo, one thing thats irritated me for years was the crappy inventory search. Just got the new Firestorm, and viola, finally you can search inventory like this now, black +boots and find all your black boots, yay That needs tobe in the main LL Viewer, its more important than anything believe me hahahha But wait, its even better, you can know move those lost inventory items that when at the root, the same level as inventory back to yoru lost and found. OMG It took 2 months to get Linden labs to fix my inventory when it happened, now you can do it yourself yay That needs to be in the main LL Viewer to.

boo :matte-motes-agape: Yes having ims in a seperate window from chat is terrible waste of screen space. An option to dock the tabs with the chat window would be great. Also, the smilie face in the button bar in this forum is not on the list of smilies when you click it, i like button bar smilie

boo, V3 needs to combine the outfits window with the inventory window, i am back to typing in WORN now Anyways, since they undocked the windows, they need to rethink how there done now. WIndows dont pop to the front when they get(should) get focus. Its a little messy. Plus the fixed button bar location gets in the way a lot, the ones one the side, of course you can just put all you buttons on the bottom, but if the button bars would float would solve the issue.

boo I miss it to, i started in mid 2007. It seems more dynamic then, more energy, things were more free. For me it started when they annouced age verification, from that day on things started to change. Now i find SL to be repititous and generally boring, but it could be that after 4 and half years, i just need to find something new about it given the current state of what SL is. Of course, it will never be what it was like in those first 2 months, its was new, fresh and exciting and i knew nothing, nothing.

boo, lucky you can do that. Linden newbie homes sims, or some of them are totatly borked :matte-motes-smile: But in general, theres been a lot of sims borked the last few days. Remember , server issues cannto be resolved on your end so dont waste time resinstalling stuff. Anyways, off to a public sandbox for me, as my home is totally useless

yay Ok, buttons on the right side now thanks Yes, V3.2 is a huge improvement. If they added a derender and asset black list, i doubt i would even install a TPV anymore. it took what, 2 years, but we are back to a non instrusive interface, and so easy to just make it go poof and all you have is SL Now let the tweaking begin.

ok, i cannot figure out how to move the tool bar :matte-motes-impatient:, and being on the left side is terrible, must have been a lefty that decided that on

Kamichu thats the last one i watched :matte-motes-smile: Before that the list was insanly long, at one point i was obesses with Fushigi Yûgi (Just hearing the theme song would bring tears to my eyes) and Sailor Moon. I call myself Madlax a lot, so i must have liked that , even if it was stereo typical. RG Veda is where i started, still ove watching it. Whisper of the Heart started me down the Miyazaki path and is still my favorite to watch I could go on for a long time

ok, reply to myself :matte-motes-inlove: I bite the bullet and unisntalled every viewer i had installed, (6 of them :smileyvery-happy:). Wiped out all the app data in the user folder, a complete 100% uninstall, except registry clean. Reinstalled the latest viewer 3, and after remember to seelct advance mode logged in. Still a mess. Tried character test, still a mess. Went into my outfits and changed to one of those, i just happened to pick on that had no clothing layers in it. And viola, poof, my shape and skin rezzed yay . Switched to some other outfits, had a few little glitches of deja vu, but now its stable again, my avi is back to normal. So, not sure what the cause was, but i do flip a lot between viewer 3 and Phoenix, so maybe the old and the new are not getting along with the server or something. But anyways, if you find your self in this bad state, and you are certain you are not wearing a full body alpha, then try what i did and pray

Hi I cannot get myself to rez properly anymore. I have tried, clear cache, character test, and changing outfits, even tried a brand new created shape, all invisible. Happens in different clients to. I filed a ticket, but if you have tried to file a ticket but sincet the ticket system has no category for general help i might not get help from lindens for a long long time. Anyone have any ideas, has it happened to you before , what did you do, is there some secret keywords to say in the ticket so they know what to do to fix it ?

meow Most stores have no refund/exchange/replaces nothing on transfer items. So personally i would just put that policy up like most stores. Any scripted solution is subject to failure, so it most likely best to deal with this via policy. Or make your stuff no transfer, then have redelivery terminal in your store. arf arf arf
