mew a mew So, did you mean that all the rigged mesh i have, if this deformer actually works out, then all the rigged mesh currently in use in SL is junk, history , toast, see ya later meshie gater Or do you mean, you wont be able to deform your rigged mesh unless its the new spec, but you can still wear your old ones but just wont deform. Maybe you know the answer to this, but will it make alpha layers obsolete, becaue to me alpha layers are way more of an issue, but not sure if deformation will mean bye bye alpha layers we wont miss you one bit

mew mew ma mew boo, I will chime in to. Basically anything that not the material in a RL version. Buttons, snaps, clasps, hooks, belt loops, belts, zippers, the little eye thingines that laces go through, laces, pocket flaps, wringles and folds, even the label if it shows (Bonus item) If you see the first picture i put in the prev post, you can see the the clips that do up the dress. Its a perfect example of the details bing done as mesh, if not for the see through i would buy it, in a different color though, thats the demo color.

Lindens need to implement a revolving profile picture scheme. I guess the only thing, is that a profile pic is scrunged down to a pretty small dimension, though clickign on it brings up the big size. Its also used as your icon in im's to which is really tiny. Not sure what the magic price point would be, but i think maybe it might be advertised not as a profile picture but a great picture to hang on your wall, and as a bonus you get profile sized version. Fill your picks with examples, and start strolling the crowded clubs hahahha

Newby homes are not the highest quality, but its just a big dressing room anyways. Not a lot of prims, and you have to save a bunch for those fancy clothes boxes. Each newby island has a 8 sim private sandbox section which is nice. The freebie gifts are not worth anything) ok, so you get 512 meters without having to buy it, and no extra tier. $5 (1,235) Real dollars a month for linden land 512meters (14820L a year) 300L a week stipend - 52 weeks a year * 300L = 15600Lindes returned. So you paid 17784L for a year - 14820L for you 512 meters tier = 2964L. You get 15,600L back in stipends - 2184L = 12636. So if you rented a private island 512 meter lot at linden land tier price and gave yourselr 300L a week, it would have cost you 12,636L more then just signing up for a year. (But you have to accept that a linden home is all you need or want) (NOte: I did not take into account that for first time sign ups, they give you 1000L back after a waiting period)

mew mew ma mew I have already seen a huge increase in the quality of items that i buy and a definite decrease in costs to get them. The cost to use SL and obtain high quality content is immensly cheaper then when i first joined back in mid 2007. Matter of fact if you choose to spend nothing, you can still obtain a huge supply of quality items, as long as you dont mind wearing the same dress as a few thousand others If you would like to see what i did for zero lindens on the newby challange, i will be glad to show you. Not to mention the large number of events now catering to special prices with exclusive items from top designers. Well i am all for a overall better expierence, and be able to aquire a nicer place to live for a much cheaper cost, its still a lot less then what i paid when i first started as well. Maybe you forget but back then you had to spend 40,000Lindens to get 4K of land on a private sim, plus pay the tier. Your opening post does sound a bit naive and your follow up reminds me of Homer Simpson merrily dancing under the ocean eating chocolate fishes blissfull unaware of anything. And i am afraid i have to agree with some other posters, this sounds like nothing more then to get friends on facebook and to load up a group with number.

Mew mew ma mew boo :matte-motes-bashful: Well for me, the two big things I look for once i decide that the item is something I like, and the texture and detail are fantastic, are 1. See through. This is a bit of a super picky example, but if the inside is not textured and i can see through it from moving my camera around theres no way i am buying it no matter what, because it would drive me fricking crazy 2. If it has cleavage, is it contoured propely and does the store supplied alpha not cause my boobies to be sliced apart when i get caught looking at my cleavage This is an example of what i call done right. I can fill in the cleavage with well my cleavage Ok a few more points but no pictures. 3. Alphas that you can see easily, usually boobies cut off , legs to low, etc Some bonus things that make me reduce my linden balance:) - Butt and hip fit. I got a skirt yesterday that came with the 5 standard sizes but included 3 variations on each, normal, medium and big butt - Actual mesh, not using texture to make buttons or belts etc, but actually a mesh part. I dont want a clothing layer version in mesh, i want details that make me want to wear it and show it off. So, for me its all about details and proper fit. Just yesterday i had to turn down buying two outfits that I would have bought in a minute because of issues mentioned above. On last thing, a demo is a must, without a demo theres no way i am buying with the current state of how rigged mesh works. ahh, i remember another thing that really bugs me, but i am not sure what causes it. Certain designers mesh appear to have a violent reaction to my avi, it causes her feet to sink into the ground, and in some cases gives me rubber arm. I can tell you, i avoid those stores like the plague. I wish i knew why some do that , while most dont but i have no clue.

mew mew, maaaaaaa mew, call me if you own a diamond mine :matte-motes-asleep-2: Well i never change my height, jsut the soft points, the ones that are hidden by the alpha anyways, so in essence i am nto changing my figure anymore then the alpha does. But the real big issue for mesh clothings is the Alpha, its the bane of my mesh existance. Not all designers are very good at making alphas, and not all provide the textures to seperate them if you want to Its hard to explain what i go through and what i check to ensure a proper tight fit i would need to show pictures Plus a Small from one designer is not a small from another, plus the backs seem to go out to far and the front to close. Some have just the front move from Small to Medium, etc, some have both, theres a lot of technical bits designers have to do to and thers lots of soft bit adjustments to make it look fitted, i could write a book about all the things i have found with my trusty an-al inspections of the fit on my avi I love how mesh looks, but i really hate that making it fit means custom alphas, constant body tweaks, and a designer that does it so you can do that I still like it, but i will still wear high quality textures clothing layers to. I am raniting, its a love/hate relationship for sure, but i have seen the deformer in the video, and i just dont know if its going to help much, in the meantime skip those cheesburgers and fries and eat your broccoli hahahah Oh, plus to wear a small / xs my avi loosk really skinny, i dotn know anyone who fits in a XS without having to modify there shape. With out shape mods in my normal already thin shape, a Medium is what i would have to wear. I lose my 6 on belly and my 6 on body fat that gives me a much more realistic look. Plus i end up with 5 alphas on sometimes which is another issue, ramble ramble ramble, hahah

TP to live show with 40 avis all dancing and moving and wearing clothes damn them , 2fps, maybe i get up to 7, derender all avis, then poof back to normal. Draw distance is always 64, never higher unless i am in super cant find that damn hunt item, rez the entire sim mood Thats an old 8800GT which is definitly past its life date, and really should die to force me to get a new fast one But if all you do is stand at home, change cloths, buy boxes and open them to try on more cloths, go to music shows and just sit there and dance, its more then enough for me. I rez really fast, but i cannot have all the shaders turned on, and ambient Occlusion crashes me almost instantly. Anisotripic filtering has to be off, and Antialiasing is disabled. And landscaping, the type ith grass, and really nice painting look to it, makes my graphics card scream its brains out

mew mew ma mew :matte-motes-asleep: Its normal behaivour to turn towards any object you have selected. Its not when you click something, its when you select something. Left mouse click is click something, right mouse click is select something. The only way i know of to stop this is to write your own viewer and change the behaivour.

mewpie mewpie mewp :matte-motes-bashful-cute: I have officially flipped, and now i fully customize my avi for each mesh dress i wear, XS for some makers, Small for others. I will adjust it so its as tight as fit as possible, and i will even go so far as to make a better alpha to help with a tight fit. all but two of the changes are really unoticiable, since they just tighten up the fit. But my boobies and my butt almost always get consideribly smaller. I have went so far as to now permentaly made my boobies mesh size, even for non mesh clothing. Of course i had to sacrifice my physics with mesh, and have made a very strict criteria around trying the demo to determine if i will buy it.

A mewing i went :matte-motes-dead: Darn, now that i know who makes it, i have to buy it. Well, between bikinis and earrings, thats about half my inventory The other half being shoes.

It was pretty creepy and very strange, and thats what I think this would be like, all those creepy real looking heads bobbing about sl yapping at you. Mew mew ma mew :matte-motes-asleep-2: Lately when i have logged in wearing mesh shoes, maybe hair and dress, but it first started happening a couple of days ago while wearing new mesh shoes, but no evidence its limited to shoes. EDIT: I just confirmed, its not just shoes, i just put on a mesh dress, and instant rubber girl :) I was fine until i attached the dress, then poof, super hero :) EDIT2: I logged in my trusty air head, and she can see me normally, so it appears to be localized. I am having 2 major issues, 1. My feet are embedded in the ground 2. I have rubber arms. My arms appears longer and rubbery, they bend like old soggy cardboard. I have to strip then relog to fix it. BUT, sometime even after hours of being logged in , if i change into Mesh shoes, it will rubberize me. Rubber Girl: Cure of Rubberitis :)

mew mew ma mew :matte-motes-asleep-2: Well, i have found that sometimes mesh clothing, hair will not update properly. Ie, you dont get the updates, but if one or the other relogs, then all is fine. Some people seem to get it a lot and others dont. There is definitly bugs with mesh stuff that goes on the avi, bugs bugs bugs, ooohhhhhhhhhhh baby hahahha

mew as an add one about teh wrong model, i came across to models for a hair i bought, If i had have seen the second link ad first and never the first i would never have bought the hair. mew mew ma mew, kapoooo :matte-motes-asleep: Your ad represents who you are targeting it for, if you want both furry and human, i would suggest two pictures. For me, the entire presentation has to say , wow i want that dress. So the model is important, as is the fit. The first thing i actually saw when i looked was that the prim skirt does not fit right at the front, and that drives me crazy I would spend time getting the belt/sash thing so it flows over the prims and stays over them. i dont see any shoes either, so not sure why would say shoes not included

Hi Theres my first attempts at porportional shapes. But i think you should just make your shape by eye, to what pleases you. I made a third version, that is one head taller in the legs, which i like actually more i think.

For some reason i keep thinking thats a belleza skin, but dotn worry, i plan on addign a new prim to my brain any day now if i remember Ohhhhhhh, but good news, from what i remember, the gift was not the whole pack, and i think i saw it for sale in all its version at the curio shop. But you better not trust a single prim brain newbie like me, hahaha
