Hello, as said; if you buy mesh-body and skin then finalize it with mesh-hands -head -feat .... and throw away most of your wardrobe because you cannot wear again, mesh looks very nice. For me, as a male, it´s simply not worth the money and work ;-) Monti Oh and not to forget: "Soon" project Bento is out on the grid, that means all new mesh bodies will come to marketplace

The Lab won´t completly dropping it, just the resources there are very limited - for all SL stuff. As said, ~500~ bucks for a VR device, while the majority of people on SL are not rich and/or famous ... Too many ask for help using SL on old Laptops and PCs, they won´t/can´t spend money for a Nerd-Device, what all 3D devices are right now. I read a post that LL Ceo will look into VR and a special viewer but if that ever makes it into the release state, god knows. Best would be creating a new world special around VR but that would leave "normal" users out. No one is really working on that right now because the market is too small. Anyway, if they (LL) would give the owner a chance to backup a complete sim with ALL builds then this behaviour would be ok. If LL only can manage backups then - one backup a day kept for 30 days - should be the usual term. Monti

Maybe copy the stream URL and try it "outside" SL. iTunes, Winamp, Media Player .... to see if you can listen to streaming music at all, or to this stream. Monti

and .. simply it´s technically impossible to track alts. There where systems in SL that promised to track alts but never really worked. Only in closed source viewers, maybe there would be a chance; but then even the hardware ID of PCs, the IP, the UUID of objects, everything can be faked. Monti

Hello, the explanation is in the bold text. Maybe you used too many search terms or listed the item several times ... Cannot give more information but it seems you did something against the Terms of Service. Don´t be angry, if that didn´t happen to you before - in 8 years - you are a lucky person. I got alot flagged things because of wrong this wrong that. Sometimes i couldn´t figure out what caused an item to be in the wrong category or i didn´t find a better one so removed the item and left it for good. Calm, check the items and see if you can figure out what´s wrong. Maybe post a link (ok that won´t work it´s blocked) or a screenshot so other merchants could help you. Monti

Which games are divided by versions ? You can still play older online games because they didn´t shut the servers but looking at the userbase there it´s "empty". Maybe for other games you only need 4 - 5 people but in SL most places now are already empty. Split the users in groups would make SL (1-2-3) even more empty and useless. When the new product from Lindens arrive, targeted on expensive hardware and high end computers, people who can afford will go and try but let´s see how many will stay if, like alot places in SL already, only have 2-3 guests per event. It´s not about the creators, SL lives and dies with peoples attend to events and places. Monti

Little longer answer. Apple will reject applications using so many 3rd party libraries needed to create a "basic" SL viewer. Also apps limited to SL are not accepted so you had to make it for opensim too... There are lots more reasons why the short answer no is perfect Monti

Der Server kann vielleicht mehr aber irgendwann wird das allgegenwaertige Lag die synchronisation von script sound gesten durcheinander bringen und alles endet in einem ..... Server koennen viel aber dann muss das zum Client gestreamt werden und abgespielt, daher werden solche Limits eingefuehrt. 24 Schritte fuer eine Geste sollten wirklich genug sein oder soll das Ding fuer Stunden laufen ? Profiles are open to all, to know about others, their interests .... only thing (mentioned before) remove private stuff and only have something about you that everyone can know. You can block and mute people you don´t want to contact you, even derender them to make invisible. Notecards are only an easy way to find people not on your friendlist (or not anymore). Monti

Laptops aren´t a good choice for online "games". SL is very hardware hungry. A good Desktop PC with the same or even better specs cost half. Don´t know why everyone is so fascinated about a moveable device that never moves :-) Now back to topic ! Onboard graphics are good for Word or Excel or browser games but not SL. Yes i know there are gaming laptops but they cost a fortune and still cannot keep up with a decent Desktop PC - end of Mont

Yes but it´s a laptop, no matter if windows linux or mac they all lose, when it comes to "games" compared to Desktop-PCs. Not only in speed mostly in price. Keyboards are bad for chatting, screens small ... Think about the advice given ahead Monti
