Hallo, Prims oder neuer LandImpact (LI) bezeichnet die Menge an Objekten (Einzelteile) die man auf ein bestimmtes Stueck Land setzen darf. Das ist nicht immer ganz einfach aber es steht bei den Objekten dabei, allerdings kann durch linken und .... der LI sich aendern. So etwas kann man am besten in einer Sandbox testen. Fuer ein Haus und einen Club brauchts einiges an Prims. Die Menge der verfuegbaren Prims (LI) richtet sich immer nach der Groesse des Grundstueckes (ja es gibt eine Ausnahme aber die ist kompliziert) Also, zuerst die ungefaehre Menge an benoetigten Prims ermitteln und dann ergibt sich die Groesse des benoetigten Landes. Nun zum Land. Fuer einen Club braucht man Land auf dem ein Club erlaubt ist. Das Land das Premium User bekommen ist dafuer nutzlos und vieeeeel zu klein. Auktionen beziehen sich auf MainLand, das ist Land im Besitz von LindenLab, dort ist praktisch alles erlaubt aber auch den Nachbarn und damit ist Konfliktpotential vorprogrammiert. Mieten von "privaten" Anbietern kann guenstiger und auch besser sein weil das dann auf einem separaten Sim (Insel) ist und dort auch gewisse Regeln gelten (eben auch ob ein Club erlaubt ist); das steht aber immer in den Mietbedingungen. Leider birgt dieser Weg auch eine Gefahr. Wenn der Anbieter nun keine Lust mehr hat und das Geld nimmt aber dich nicht mehr auf sein Land laesst, ist das Geld futsch ! LindenLab wird sich nicht und niemals einmischen. Grundsaetzlich wuerde ich nicht unter 1/4 Sim gehen, auch wenn der Raum nicht benoetigt wird, fuer einen Club und ein Haus brauchts die Prims (LI) Sims haben einen gewisse maximale Anzahl an "Personen" die sie besuchen koennen, deshalb sind Clubs auf Sims oft ein Problem. So das waren jetzt viele Informationen. Mein Rat: Lass das mit dem Club, SL ist voll von leeren Clubs, du verlierst immer Geld (nur eine Handvoll Clubs verdienen) und; entschuldige dass klingt jetzt hart, mit so wenig Wissen ueber SL und Land und ... einen Club eroeffnen wird im Fiasko enden ;-) Monti

No script, i know off, can get your IP-Adress; except media scripts. DJ´s for example can see your IP when you listen to their stream. This makes it impossible for a script to track the IP (of your home . ISP) you log in from. You could make a script that emails you whenever you login. Hallo, TOS = Terms of Service also die "Vertragsbedingungen" Melden wird hier wirklich nicht viel bringen. Block, mute, derender ... und damit war´s das, leider. Falls im Chat die Meldung kommt welches Objekt er benutzt kann man versuchen auch dieses zu blocken, geht aber nicht mit Attachments also Sachen die "er" angezogen hat. Produkte gegen diese Attacken sind meist nutzlos da es, wie bei Viren, einfach zu viele Tools gibt und diese sich auch staendig anpassen. Wichtig ist auf jeden Fall diese Person zu ignorieren, nicht antworten nicht reagieren, sonst bekommen die nur die Bestaetigung die sie suchen. Selig sind die, die im Geiste arm sind ;-) Monti

Hello, this is a technical question and on the forums are all residents like you. Both, pingzapper and proxys are nothing against the SL TOS, afaik. However, you should try and see if that really does help. Mostly the ping isn´t of interest when your overall download speed is too limited. It´s not like a ego-shooter ;-) Monti

Hallo, viewer-updates aendern keine Daten, die liegen auf den LL Servern. Allerdings kann eine Neu-Installation den cache loeschen und damit muss man nach dem ersten einloggen "etwas" ... warten bis wieder alles geladen ist. In solchen Faellen tippe ich in der Inventar-Suchleiste xxx ein und warte bis er geladen hat. (jede andere dumme kombination von Buchstaben tut´s auch ;-) ) Monti

Really, there is no best laptop for SL. Most average Desktop PCs do a better job for half the money. If you really need a laptop, get a decent one with separate graphics, no build in gfx card! Enough RAM and a fast processor, good keyboard - SL is alot about typing. Doesn´t need a wide-screen but a big screen is a nice thing. Monti

Sadly this is the way SL shopping goes, sometimes. Too many gold diggers around that haven´t heard about customer service. Not only small companies tho. Look at the system specifications and check with the minimum specs for SL. Best way to see is startup SL and move all graphics sliders and settings to the max, enter a crowded area and see what happens :-) Monti

Hallo, bitte keinen Google translator benutzen. Es gibt fuer fast jede Sprache ein Unterforum. Wenn das Objekt mehr prims (LI) hat als dein Land erlaubt kann es nicht gerezzt werden. Suche nach einer Sandbox mit ausreichend freien Prims und versuche das Objekt aufzuteilen. Monti

Did you receive a ban for the sim ? About what do you want justice ? If hearsay if accepted on that sim and "they all" do not trust a new visitor ... move on. There is no SL police or judges around. Rules made by owners. Anyway you won´t get in jail or have to pay a fine ;-) Monti

Long ago i made a DJ display thingi. You have to parse the HTML page for your stream. That´s more or less simply download the html and filter out the info you want. How your page is formatted depends on icecast, shoutcast ... Best, look for a html-parse script in the library and dig through Monti

SL is far more better on most desktops (compared to same price laptops) plus for me the laptop keyboard is harder to use, the screen is smaller ..... Most complains about SL not running smooth come from people using laptops on wireless. Monti
