Be neat to stagger the home levels too to make it more spacy maybe space home control panel could have home height controls so owners could move home to different level for more personal space or group them together for space ports communities. I'd never use this, i'd rather have a built in manual system I could record custom animations and replay them, sell them et.. See jira. like EEP except with animation creation like the dragon poser has except with ability to record animations via what is that stop motion. The offical viewer is going to need the built in AO FS uses as well to easily toggle. AO maybe ability to put notecard in AO with timings for different things. Like the abranimations animation hud but built in. That would be sick. I have fond memories of running 2 of those at the same time. one for me and one for others. with like 12 slots each for can't tell you how many perfectly timed strings of animations each one contained so many animations. That's the truest form of puppertry. This would be way more entertaining and original imo.

I've seen the coolest people/performers be alienated by others when they were called bots. Currently difficult to tell bot accounts from non bot accounts, and we currenlty have no privacy settings restricting bots from collecting information relating to their targets which are us non bots. If we had option to block all bot interaction/visibility I would enable it. I really don't like being hit by scripts sent by bots in public spaces, which were reported and never corrected. It's apparent that bots were developed for a purpose, no idea why, seems like there should be further development with non bot users' concerns in mind. It's no my world, they will do what they do and I will do what I do.

Never had a bot farm, but if I did I would want to collect avatar/account name, travel locations, time of travel, objects on avatar clothings, script. Maybe to try to figure out where they are going and what kind of bot models to try to influence the target into purchasing? Maybe my fictional bot would track how many times the targets click other objects on other avatars to get better understanding of what the target is interested in. If I were interesting in adult stuff then eventually I would be swarmed with a bunch of fembots with lots of handy information in their profiles.

The forums seem to be the best plact to have a conversation anytime, can't be alien, history, or current event non second life related (unless a second life alien attempted to abduct your sl avatar and travel back in time where you belong (stealing that from flight of the navigator), which is shame but it's kind of nice not having that here and be primary conversation focus all the time. I save that stuff for the evenings Check out the info hubs on the map and you'll see clusters of people, travel around see which spot calls to you, hang out. Someone will start talking about something crazy and then you can start talking crazy and so on and then you have 30 perspectives going on, try not to get offended. I like to let people speak their minds, I speak mine. We agree to disagree a lot of the time. Does not have to be always conflict, that gets redundant and not fun. I like to treat conversation in world with strangers as if I were communicating with a big list of family members. Relationships will not develope over night, but they will develope. PheebyKatz is correct sometimes you have to start the conversation. If it starts with I thought this was a social place why are you freaks not speaking. Someone will be like because we don't want to talk to you. They are likely talking in group chat. Don't be offended. Don't feel like you have to belong in group chat i've got invites, I just don't see that as organic conversation so I don't participate, I choose not to participate in group chats. I keep it only to local chat. I have a thing about someone trying to have power over my emotional state. Eventually people will talk in local, might be someone like you, and then that ball will start rolling and rolling and growing. I avoid non linden areas for developing lasting relationships. It's bad enough being under one government (which is a powerful, intelligent, and graceful government). I don't do 3rd party governments. If the land does not say owned by gov linden, I don't get attached to anyone because one day they could ban me. I will not open myself up to being banished from a place because someone with power did not like me, or it was part of a game I have no desire playing.

If army of bots started swarming the area I were in I'd prolly be entertained for awhile I'd leave to one of my safe places, maybe one in a non scripted area (no that it would make a difference I like to think it would). My safe spaces are several 1000 regions apart. If I were followed I would quickly abuse report one of them for harassment. In the report I would explain where I was, what happened, concerns, and move on. I've been followed before, usually they teleport in at the edge of the region I go to as if I would not notice. I've noticed it happening to others in places that do not have a set teleport landing, when people come in, usually newer users, a few seconds after they land another avatar would teleport in from the same landing spot. I've noticed this several different times. Would think it was a friend sending another friend a teleport request, possible. Just a trend i've noticed. Would be nice if we had more control. Or ways to trap the bots and auto report them, remove our personal information from whom ever is collecting it. 3rd party data brokers taking advantage of this system, alienating users for way too long.

Correction to my earlier statement, If you're hit with a security orb between 400m and 2000m (i'm not sure about the air space over 2000m security orb rule) I would file abuse report. Or if the security orb was instant teleport away without the minimium 15 second warning via chat message. 15 second warning is common when flying breifly above houses under 400m, usually when I fly that low I don't stick around over 15 seconds the chat box will give warning to leave air space, which makes it exciting. When your instantly ejected from your craft and teleported home while traveling through parcels boundaries quickly I would report those kind. Lately I don't really have the motivation to track down the security orb to report, I usually move on and stay focused with what I was doing unless I know exactly where to report. It would be handy to have a way to report the last person who teleported us vs trying to track down the parcel owner. If anyone knows more efficient way of reporting those, that would be awesome. It's pretty rare to be hit with security orb breaking the rules. The great thing about bellisseria is there is non of those parcel privacy yellow line boundary walls crafts can get stuck in.

This place is neat for space resources. They might have groups. Highly recommend taking the rocket pod up to the space station and trying those spacecraft demos, they are little expensive, so well built but deff on my radar when I need a craft to explore. The rocket pod is fun and so cool. ty I had to go back and edit that in, I think when I was searcing for the starship group in my feed something clicked in my brainpower. That's pretty good idea about changing the environmental settings, I bet there's a bunch of different custom ones on the marketplace to change how stars look maybe with planets too. Search marketplace for space eep or space environment has a lot more unsure how they work above so many meters or how to set that up, I would guess they come with instructions and ability to message creator for tips if problems. BUT the people selling the space environments, if they have inworld stores it will show on marketplace, give them a visit maybe they will be in space and offer places to boldly explore.

you could always fly your ship over bellisseria its a free fly area you're bound to find a lot of interesting things up in the sky there lol. around sl17b I remember seeing a treky type group. maybe they have locations. I could not find any other in my feed than this one. The group looked neat, should have taken more photos. maybe will help trigger someones memory. the role playing people might know.

My first impression of the Teegle store on the Teegle region, I was kind of new at the time. I tried a demo and had difficult time mounting and then I think my ao was goofing something and I was like maybe i'll shop around, never did, then fantasy faire came along and there were Teegle Pegasusususs' a Pegasus was waiting for me right clicked mounted perfectly and flew off. The peformace was so nice, even with tons of people around. Not only can rider rez and ride can wear and ride (which is way more stable if your flying region to region.) I collect them. So far I have Teegle's Pegasus copy (copy one is more expensive but you can make like 100 pegasus and have them following you around it's very cool) If you get no copy you can still have them redelivered if you loose them or someone ponynaps them (if they are set to public). I have the smaller foal so cute for for my teddy avatar or smaller avatars and I have the Clydesdale, his name is clyde. Deff check out the teegle region and try the demos, when you land might take a second to find the large store but it's there. I have not tryed any other horses wasn't really going to get any but after trying that Pegasus I had to have one. If you wana try any of the 3 message me a location and time happy show you how they work. Here's a photo of them I did not mod any of their skin appliers or horse hair, i've seen beautiful mods. This is them like what the heck are you doing? in their natural form.

Also, I would have totally reset my computer to factory settings and then I would install the official viewer from www.secondlife.com (scroll down to the bottom of the page you'll see a download button). Always option. It's possible it's not even viewer related, someone could wear a full body alpha and stand over a person with similar name or a fake name tag, making it look like the person who is afk is doing it. Or it could be an object attached to someone else moved over another persons avatar that can look like active mic animation and play sound, maybe sound recorded from your mic used to create your voice in a 3rd party program? If I wanted to do it that's how I would try, no desire to develop that sort of tool for evil.

I got it, you could go into settings and disable the mic that and type your communications until this is resolved They can't take over your mic if it's not enabled, if they do,.. you could add that information to your next suspension?

Ewww, i'm sorry you have to deal with this, I can understand wanting to be close to friends, enjoying your time then having to deal with grose harassment. After similar experience with misunderstanding, I can relate with what you're going through. I would normally say stand your ground but for now might consider finding new places to hang out while this is happening. Whomever is doing it is addicted to that location and should be easily be tracked down by LGov. Unsure if your still suspended, either way, I would log into the second life website www.secondlife.com and from there submit a support ticket explaining what happened, let them know your side of the story, give them as much information as possible, the day it happenen, sl time, witnesses, location, anything you think would be helpful for them to track down whomever is harassing people. Also ask them to forward a copy of your ticket to the Linden Department of Governance. They will be able to spot trends, it's highly likely you are not the first one this have done this to. Could be one person with several alts maybe, would think LDOGs would be able to tell if the alts were from the same machine but people are tech savvy now and find ways of making alts look like they are all on different machines and different locations. Don't let it get you down, this experience will make you stronger. I would have went full mental, your gracefulness should show them you're serious and concerned for your safety and the safety of all residents. It would be safer to find a hang out somewhere else for sure for now. Likely they will continue to follow you, if this happens again in same or different location hit the report button, even though you do not know whom to report, the person would be to report Governor Linden, let them know someone in this area is hacking microphones and leave right away. If you tell your friends you're going to hang out somewhere else there's a chance the parasite harassing you would follow as well. Lay low pretend all is well don't give this person any energy, if it happens again you'll be ready. Stay calm there's away to have all people in area pop up on a people list it's a task bar button you can add to your task bar as well as the report button. Have the people window open and hit that report button it will take a screen shot of all the people in the area, it's possible the person doing this could be not on the peoples list but as much info as possible would be helpful. Thankfully time heals and eventually you'll get over this. Good luck

Hi my name is Paul, I'm over 40. Today I got bifocls; the bluryness is no more and i'm awaiting my first cologuard cancer screening (very cool). (long story short poo goes in and mail it off and screens for colon cancer totally worth asking Dr for). My first computer 286 I was exposed to lucas arts and sierra games in my teens, (I feel like chunk from goonies now) I had a teacher ask me to write a paper about what a super computer was, went to library, that was in the 90s, could not find anything about super computer that was not a fun project, she also told me never scratch itchies with my fingernails only rub them with finger tips, and suggesed we always boil our water before we drink it and never dry body and hair with the same towl. I never got swatted with a paddle, came close a bully told teacher I was bullying him and was not, and another teacher did not like the way I was progressing in his class and threatned me. I'm glad they got rid of that. If I would have got beat by a teacher prolly would be a different person right now. My first brush with second life started many many years ago, it was like the original show tales of the city about a 20 something singleton who moved to san francisco, well was only supposed to be a visit but ended up to be a spring break that lasted 3 years. That was around 2003. Family member was designing shoes and going to parties in second life while I was playing world of warcraft. I installed second life on my computer and it would not run good for me so I went back to dungeon runs. Fast forward a few years same, fast forward a few more and in Jan 2019 I saw the beauty of the starting how to jump fly area and really liked the builds and been lingering and learning ever since. Perhaps more and more original players from world of warcraft are coming to second life because doing dungeon runs gets borning and they always change skills and make it so complicated, it's nice not having to do anything unless we want to here. Second Life taught me exactly how World of Warcraft was created. Before I thought games just magically created themselves I guess. Never knew about mesh or scripting animating particles physics. I will never see another game the same way ever again. I learned to build stuff here.
