    I can respect that..in RL. In SL, however, you never really know who is behind the brands and often the image of a brand pushed in SL is not run by who you think it is. It's quite common.

    A re-loadable card is not a gift card. It is a prepaid debit. Gift cards generally cannot be reloaded, priced in different amounts, i.e.10 to 100 dollars or more, hence the name and do not require information on file-this is likely why LL does not accept them because no info is tied to it and why you can't use them for some transactions. As for the fraudulent behavior..the person I quoted mentioned giving fictitious information to a card issuer and that is fraud by any definition.

    This goes back to an earlier post about committing fraudulent behavior, which is what you are describing. The cards have to function as a checking account or have ACH capabilities to be accepted as payment-they can have these without being tied to your regular bank account or a regular bank. 👈

    Exactly this, it does not take much to acknowledge and be nice to someone you encounter during your day. I must say I do make an exception to the nice rule for elderly people tho, lol. Even if they aren't particularly friendly and need help with their things I will do it anyway, because that is what you're supposed to do.

    Again, when you get a prepaid debit card in the U.S. it is not anonymous, you have to give information. You seem to have left that bit out, you are in fact verified when you activate it and must give personal details to reload the card. The cards can be used if they also have a checking account function'/can handle ACH payments with SL, otherwise they can't.     Peeve: I drive rideshare on some weekends out of boredom and to make a little extra money. You would not believe the level of rudeness that exists with people and how they think you are their personal servant. First, this is MY CAR, second I am not obligated to help you with your bags or items, but have done so if the person is nice. So ultimately the peeve is extremely rude people .
