    There are of course wonderful things being created in SL by builders. I would like to eulogise for that! Without them, we cannot set up our land, let's be honest. But sometimes you see things in RL that would be also wonderful in SL. Not for builders to recreate immediately, but for inspiration. Today I saw such an RL inspiration thing on the internet. Bacchanalia restaurant in London with sculptures from Damien Hirst. Picture of the restaurant feels allready SL-like to be honest. Born to be on SL! And you, fellow residents, do you have seen things in RL that could be an inspiration for SL?

    It's odd (or maybe not) that as a man I have more (music) heroins then heroes. Beside Siouxsie Sioux, Maria Callas, Chrissie Hynde, Nina Hagen, Patti Smith there is Nico. And what a great performace she gives here, just a few moths before her unfortunate death.

    Here is a picture I took of Dutch estate where you can clearly see that the footpath along the canal at the yard is one level below street level. I based that on the canals in Utrecht, my city in RL (second picture, so this is NOT Amsterdam 😉). There are still many differences. In RL it is a canal in a city, in SL it is a canal around a villa in the countryside. In RL the trees are not at street level but are down at yard level and there are footpaths on either side of the canal. I have tried both in my land but neither work well. So we keep on trying! It is a work in progress.

    As for non traditional trees, I saw on a christmas market the potion tree from Krescendo (a tree with different coloured elixers in glass tubes), but the market is gone and the tree is not to be found at marketplace or their shop. I wish I bought it now at the market! I will write them because now I want that tree 😄 PS: found a picture of it from their Flickr page.
