Would be nice though if they had a larger selection and perhaps some more decent names instead of the god awful set they have come out with. Its a shame they are not opening up previous surnames for registration again. I mean, back then, some names slipped in and out over and over again and others only appeared once. I seldom ever see two of the same last name together anymore in SL so I doubt anyone is really going to complain too much. Personally I would be pretty stoked to see more people with my legacy surname. I would consider them my army and as one of the original bearers of the name...their leader.

It should be £31.86 at the minute. However, LL doesn't use normal currency conversion. They pretty much throw an 8 ball and hope for the best. I had a sim about a year ago and the conversion price from USD to GBP that they were charging me was 15-30 dollars more than what any other finance site / currency conversion site gave me. And I don't have to pay VAT as where I live is in the UK but not part of it, so it wasn't that.

I’m sick of seeing the phrase “Coronavirus”. I was hoping that this forum wouldn’t become inundated with posts and the “I have it worse than you” crowd would leave well alone. This is going up there with llGetMoonRotation. Why are we being given pointless and unneeded functions and being constantly denied useful things such as custom libraries, native switch statements, conditional operators....or....perhaps finally giving us those grid wide experiences promised all those years ago.

So, another combat system related question. More a math issue than anything. In my system I record the following information : Deaths Kills Hits taken I am wanting to use this data to determine someones combat rank. Now, I know I can divide say the kills by the deaths to get a K/D ratio and base my ranking on that. However, I want to include the amount of hits taken as my system has a couple of dodge options to evade damage. Is there a good method I can use to determine a ratio given these three variables and then break up the results to determine what rank someone is. The ranks in the system are simply E, D, C, B, A, S, SS. However, what I don't want to happen, ratio wise, is someone does their first ever kill and suddenly they gain the SS rank as their combat efficiency could technically be 100% at that point if they did it with no hits taken

Well I’m in the U.K. so I didn’t realise that about the CDC. I knew about trump however, but I almost never include him in my statements about governments or organisations these days as he just witters absolute nonsense at the best of times. However, I have yet to go wrong paying attention to the NHS and WHO which is where I get my advice from. I have seen so much misinformation over the last two weeks, woolly journalism with no sources and partially reported truths that paint only one side of an argument that I am now slightly jaded towards any other sources of information in regard to the things we can do to keep ourselves safe and prevent ourselves from catching the virus.

So you believe entertainment / news TV and potential fringe conspiracy theories over the official agencies. Good to know

What I would say to anyone is this. If it doesn’t have sources, if it seems woolly, if you are unsure, if it’s not advice from WHO, CDC, NHS etc etc. Ignore it, pinch of salt etc. There is a lot of misinformation around and if you believed even a small amount of it you would be soaking in a bath of brine, but fully clothed to insulate you with a rock salt crystal up each nostril gargling bleach.

So, my wonderful scripter friends. I need your help. I have been trying to figure out how to solve the following issue but...I will be honest...angles and arcs have never been my thing. But...I want to get better so... I want to make an attack for this ever elusive combat system I am working on where the avatar fires out 4 blasts at the same time. These four blasts then arc out away from the user as they travel forward and start arcing back in before striking the opponent. One blast fires slightly up and arcs over before coming back down toward the target, two arc from the left and right and the final one arcs underneath and comes back up to strike them. I am at a loss on how to go about this. I feel there is probably some simple / mid level math that I can use to achieve this but I really don't know where to start. These objects being fired are physical objects. See diagram if you are confused :
