    I personally Know Adult film stars and models that are Only 4'10" tall, I know Tons more people in everyday work that are between 18 and 80 years of age . Mothers. Fathers. Grandmothers and Grandfathers that are not even 5 foot tall, and yet we on SL are being Judged by out Height and Shapes.

    I personally dated a 22 year old woman when I was 21 , And she was barely 5'1" tall, and Was more flat chested than I was.

    And yet, SL and LL is defining us by our size and shape,

    I'm only 5 foot 3 inches tall myself . 

    And if I am in a club full of 7 Foot tall avatars I will look like a child next to them, And I'm being told I have to change My Avatar I worked on for months to get right, Spent Tons of Real Life money to get clothing Bodies, Hair and everything I needed to put together look that I like and is close to my RL size.

    Total BS, Bigotry and Bias based on a community of Ignorance and Bigotry.

    Actually yes, someone did say it. @Persephone Emerald said this means that Child avi's can't run around the house naked after taking a bath.

    What about the fact that every single person you mentioned is a REAL PERSON.

    If a child looks like a child in any way IN SECOND LIFE,  they are a child avi.

    Adding ears and a tail to a child like avatar IS a child avi. Whether someone considers them a child makes no difference. I don't consider ANY child avi to be an actual child. I assume they are all adults. If children actually were here playing I guarantee you they would be playing an adult avatar.

    This whole business is started to feel like an almost panicky, knee-jerk response from Linden Lab, who should have provided some more guidance to content creators BEFORE announcing these changes.
     

    I’m actually feeling really cranky at the moment.  So LL isn’t going to budge on the modesty panel requirement, and I’m not going to budge on upgrading my outdated ToodleeDoo avatar. Therefore, I’m giving up on having any child avatars. I am DONE. I just feel sorry for the content creators and child/teen role players negatively impacted by this, who have next to no time to prepare. 

    Has LL even told the creators what the modesty panel needs to look like or are they supposed to just "wing it"

    It has been asked in at least 4 posts for LL to show us what it should look like. I have yet to see a response here or on the FAQ page.

    That bad huh. Hmm looks up at the sky falling. If SL ended I guess I have other things to do on and offline that while I might get a bit peeved for a week or so, I'd shrugs my shoulders and go do something else.

    I actually think Opensim would be happy if SL closed as that would be a huge influx of avatars for them.
