  1. I have a nice, quiet, flat 1024 m2 parcel for sale in Seomna, which is a mature sim. Asking price is L$1750 (L$1.7 m2). It's perfect for a premium account with no other land holdings as there are no extra tier costs. http://maps.secondlife.com/secondlife/Seomna/38/122/43 It's the land between the two walls in the image below. The walls are included with the purchase, you can keep them or delete them, whichever you prefer.
  2. They do. Just refresh the auctioned off parcel in your browser shortly after the auction ends and you'll see who owns the parcel. It will be the winner of the auction. I guarantee though that the people that want to hide their identities will just create alts and whatnot to bid in their place so that you don't really know if it's one of the big land companies or not. It really seems stupid to me that those land companies charge tons of money for their land just because they need to make up for losses on tier. It would make a lot more sense to set the price at a reasonable level so you can get rid of it and not accumulate tier costs. They'd even be better off cutting their losses and letting the property sell if even at a loss. Maybe they get some kind of macho pride boost by being the owner of vast swathes of land. Who knows?
  3. Price on the two remaining parcels has been reduced to L$1500 each. If anyone wants both, send me a notecard in game. I'll let the full 2048 go for L$2500.
  4. Two of the parcels are sold. I've got 2 more left!
  5. I currently have four quiet and flat 1024 m2 residential lots for sale. They're in a very quiet neighborhood and priced to move! Only L$1750 each! These would be perfect for any builder that wants to build things without having to worry about rough landscapes or other things to challenge the build. All four lots can be found here: http://maps.secondlife.com/secondlife/Quokka/221/189/97 They're all right in a group, so just buy the ones you want!
  6. In short, the field that says Owner: has to be the same on all the blocks for the parcel capacity to combine. But yeah, you could buy land in the neighboring sim and rework your design so that some of the prims are in each sim, but they do not combine if in neighboring sims.
  7. SOLD! All parcels have been sold. Thanks for your business!
  8. Yeah, you're probably right. I just think it would be cool as hell to have SAMs that fire from parcels and start tracking planes and avatars in flight, even if they don't actually do anything.
  9. That would just be great for the awesome factor alone!
  10. Weapons for shooting down aircraft? Hmm... *me goes to look at the MP*
  11. Eventually, yes, the invisible hand will probably drive rents downward. But, if they're still able to get business at the old rate then there's literally no incentive for them to reduce rates.
  12. Only 5 parcels left. Get them while they're hot!
  13. One of these lots has sold, but the other 7 are still available. Get yours now at this insanely low price!

    question

I've got a quarter sim on a penninsula that overlooks the ocean on two sides that's up for sale.
  15. Over the last few months, I've had at least five different neighbors move in and out of the plots right next to my home in SL. Finally, earlier today I had enough and when they went up for sale again (for DIRT cheap), I just had enough and bought out all of those unsightly plots. So much for annoying neighbors moving in. They took a bath too. Each of them paid a lot more for their plots 2 weeks ago than I paid today.
  16. Sent you a PM. Check out the land, let me know what you think and if you're interested, we can talk business.
  17. Rent or buy? I've got 8192 on an ocean penninsula that I'm trying to sell, but I'd be willing to rent 4096 of it to you if you want.
