    Elysium skins all have freckled versions, and they are nice and super cheap (50 L$ for a fat pack), since they are closing their store and "rebranding."

    I was following this thread and so checked out Elysium. It turns out they are closing their store and so have sweet deals on skins! Sad to see a store closing, but they have beautiful, nicely detailed and now very affordable skins. (And in this case I am not an owner or employee ;), just passing on a bargain find.)

    I've been loving the GA.EG Barbara head I bought recently. It's got a bunch of add ons that integrate nicely into the main HUD for makeup, eyelashes, hairbases and such, and you can demo everything all at once and tweak the shape to see if you like it before you buy. For Omega makeup you need the Omega relay. GA.EG also makes nice eyes and has a bunch of animations and piercings that work well with the head and have their own separate HUDS to control. All of the customizations do add up though....

    Hi again! I am making progress with KT's two shot masking suggestion. I think I am finally starting to wrap my head around how it works, though I don't know if I can explain exactly what I did Anyway, here is what things look like at this stage of my experiments. Thanks for all the help!

    Aha, I knew somebody would think of something! I do not have rez permission, the only thing not allowed at that sim is building and dropping things. Perhaps I can convince the owners of the sim to let me do a fashion photoshoot there with temporary permission, though it is a Buddhist temple and they might not like that! But then again it is a Buddhist temple in Second Life....

    Hi everyone, I've been fiddling with phototool settings and can't figure this out. I would like to be able to dim an object -- a painting hanging on a wall behind me. It is owned by someone else in a sim I visit but also do not own. It seems like it doesn't respond to windlight settings and stays a constant brightness even in midnight hour windlights that darken everything else in the room. The best I can do is give it a washed out bright look as in the second photo below by changing the haze settings. Is this the kind of thing I can do within SL or is something like GIMP needed? EDIT: I am using Firestorm viewer in Linux. First pic is with a dark windlight, second is with haze settings changed -- increased density and horizon if I remember correctly. Thanks!

    Hi, I am having a problem with my Slink bento hands. They have this tendency to disappear into my body when certain animations are running. One of the AO's I am using has a few fold-arms-across-my-chest animated stands and when my arms are crossed each hand gets absorbed in the other forearm and it looks pretty terrible. The same happens with some hands on hips pose animations. The hand doesn't know where to stop but ends up disappearing into my side. Is there any solution to this or do I just have to learn to live with these glitches in animations? Are there any AO's that are tailor made for specific bodies that might avoid the issue? I am wearing a Slink Physique body with the new Slink bento hands. Thanks! Saga
