  1. Inspired by the arguing over Adult Content. This was the theme song to a movie of the same name, created by Alan Funt ("Candid Camera"). My dad had the single, he was a little naughty.
  2. I don't disagree, I was just poking Coffee because it's her "pet issue". OTOH, I 100% predict that selling Tilia, in itself, will NOT result in a change in Adult Content.
  3. Pet Delight: when random drama is more fun than watching an anthill that someone kicked.
  4. Yes, they are bad. That's what "except for hedge funds" meant. You are agreeing with me. Or didn't understand my point. It's all good.
  5. I could debate this all day, but will step back and watch everyone turn red and explode, instead. Fun!
  6. Ah, so you're mad about the possibility of losing Adult Content? Got it!
  7. "WE" are LL's "cash cow". If you think they are dumb enough to jeopardize "US" (your caps), go ahead and think that. Except companies that suffer leveraged buyouts by hedge funds etc., most don't kill the "goose that lays the golden egg".
  8. Listed earlier in several posts.. "Hey, we are proud to announce yet another new un-feature almost nobody wanted, that should have taken 6 months, which we extended to 6 years, then gave up on half way through, it's a broken hot mess, but we're saying its Working As Intended!" "Business as usual but we've raised transaction charges from a buck fifty, to 15 % of anything under $100" "This year we're embracing SL's Adult side by pretending we're opening a smutty club, then imposing a draconian puritanical crackdown to cover our own asses" And you wonder why some of us "lack faith". These are "promising something". Selling Tilia is "abandoning a bad thing". Just like, selling Sansar. LL will not be encumbered by the dead, stinking albatross carcass. Did anyone consider that perhaps having a stake in / owning a payment company may have hindered future growth in Mobile? There's many things "we" don't know.
  9. Heck, if it was a good idea before, that didn't change. According to some, we won't be able to complain much longer either way!
  10. Is "not being able to blame LL for Tilia" a glass "half-empty", or "half-full"?
  11. Well, thank goodness for this thread, the day was getting slow.
  12. Nothing at all is wrong with it: my opinion is just as valid as theirs. For some reason, those who hate / fear change despise being disagreed with, and apparently take it personally. That's about the only way I can explain the personal attacks against me when I disagree.
  13. Yes! Selling Tilia will give LL more $$ to spend on the projects everyone complains out. It's a win-win. (I honestly believe that Tilia will fail under new management, so LL makes $$$ from the sale, and we all benefit indirectly.) I think what a lot of people miss is, LL wouldn't sell Tilia if it didn't benefit them to do so, and by extension benefit us.
  14. You misunderstand: I tease because in this case, I foresee a positive outcome. On the other hand, the fact "any change at all" results in "oh noes" from certain people, definitely makes the entire "Sky is falling" response ridiculous. Despite protests to the contrary, it's as if those who complain truly wish LL (and thereby SL) to fail, as shown by their sheer and utter lack of faith. I hope you can process that explanation without somehow thinking there is reason to "turn it back on me" as usual.
  15. You think thee is one? It was sarcasm. Because what Coffee posted - the building possibly being sold - would from most angles appear to have absolutely nothing to do with Tilia being sold.
  16. We could talk about children, instead. That topic is popular!
  17. I kind of predict something like "SL will need to switch to traditional payment processors" will happen, because my prediction is that Tilia will fail under a new company.
  18. Why do we get stuck with the spleen?! I mean yay, we get the core bidneth!
