That all sounds great except it doesn't address what is considered a child avatar and that's what has people concerned. It's all well and good to say your avatar is adult but as we've seen here in the forums, that can be subjective. Do they look 14 or 18? What looks old enough to me might not look old enough to you. Even taking height out of the equation, it's still a tough call sometimes. We all know people have been pushing that line since forever.

But as was already mentioned, items aren't labeled as adult. That top.with your boob showing has no adult rating. A sex bed is obviously adult as most.genitalia.would be. That thong you're wearing with your phat p.u.s.s? Where.is.the rating? Is.it the same as a.bikini bottom? Bikinis aren't adult. What constitutes a child avatar? Ones that.look under 8 yrs. old? 16? Who decides.what looks.too young? There is no way for.the viewer to make.those decisions. Lots.of.preteens use Maitreya with flat chest so would that be.labeled as adult?

Grab the Maitreya mesh body,.the Avalon mesh head from Lelutka, the 50L skin from.Glam Affair, the weekend sale ponytail at Mina.plus any clothing that catches your eye from.the other weekend sales.and you're good.to go.

Ever piece of furniture I have out shows either PG or A in the hover text. Older items, maybe not. I've only mentioned what is actually written in their policy. They didn't say, 'while the item is in use' but only that a child avatar was in proximity to. That leaves it pretty ambiguous if you ask me. In essence, child avatars couldn't be on moderate land if they were near any item which could potentially be used for adult animations/activity. That's why I wondered if all adult items would need to be removed.from Belli so there is no potential for child avatars to be near said furniture. How they intend to change or enforce.that? Who knows?

Sex beds are specifically mentioned as adult content in regards to child avatars so splitting hairs as to whether it's adult-rated or adult-content makes no sense. Ratings are for land. Adult content is stuff. Child avatars are allowed in adult rated land but not near adult content. Child avatars are allowed in Belli but not around the adult content there is how I've always interpreted the rule. For instance, the placement of avatars appearing to represent minors in proximity to "sex beds" or other sexualized graphics, objects, or scripts would violate our Community Standards, as would the placement of sexualized "pose balls" or other content in areas depicting playgrounds or children's spaces.

Most of the things I've seen at the men's events are all new items. Some actually require new, exclusive content. If nothing else, there are a lot of stores in those events so if you don't see something you like AT the event, you can always check out the mainstore or MP. Man Cave and The Men's Dept are usually pretty good, IMO.

So, a sex bed isn't adult-rated nor adult-content? AFAIK, adult is adult. The only difference is whether it's advertised or searchable. It's still the same content.

I guess all that adult furniture on Belli would have to go? We've been told numerous times that it's allowed. Wonder how many would flee Belli if it had all adult content banned.

While supposedly only available to LL, if you have payment info on file, they already connect your SL account to your RL info. I would think people would be more leary of that info being breached yet a LOT of SL users have no issue with that. If you process credit, they have even more info. Are Tilia and LL any more secure than any other company?

If you're sorting by name, names using odd fonts will be at the bottom of the list usually. Is she there when you scroll all the way down?

That's what I was thinking, too. I AM an adult and like millions of other people on the interwebs, I look at adult stuff now and then. What exactly is someone going to do with that info? Send me spam? I have a folder for that. Doesn't Experian already have a lot of info about your credit and such? Don't banks use that info when you apply for loans?

The Linden homes do not allow any commercial activity. You can abandon your Linden home and PURCHASE up to a 1024 parcel on mainland without incurring any additional fees. You could also claim a 512 Linden home and then purchase up to 512 of mainland for your business without any extra fees. As long as you remain a premium member for 45 days (you aren't required to spend each day in SL), you should receive your 1000L regardless of whether you own land. My experience over the last year and half has required perseverance, not resilience. I pushed through because I had no other choice. Nothing was going to make it easier or less stressful. Nothing. I certainly did not have a.positive outlook while going through it and I've barely bounced back. A few other issues also arose out of the whole ordeal so there's that, too. Perseverance and resilience are two words that are often used interchangeably, but they actually have distinct meanings. Perseverance refers to the ability to persist in the face of obstacles and setbacks, while resilience refers to the ability to bounce back from adversity and maintain a POSITIVE OUTLOOK.

Also, you don't GET 2048 of mainland. You're allowed to PURCHASE up to 2048 of mainland without incurring any further charges.

That was kind of the point of my post. I had no choice but to push through the issues I was faced with. I coped very badly, IMO, but what else was I to do? I feel no stronger or resilient than I did before. I also was not able to "return to pre-crisis status" until this month. No amount of prayer or reflection or time spent doing something else, was going to make going through it any easier or less stressful. I'd put out one fire and have another to put out. ANY stress or unpleasantness encountered in SL pales in comparison. It's a non-issue. I don't HAVE to be resilient at all. I can log.out and all of it is over. It affects my actual RL in no way. I HAD to deal with the RL.issues. Even though I enjoy many things in SL, doing them did not make what I was going through in RL any easier.

If you purchase a mainland 2048 parcel then yes as long as it's not advertising adult items on moderate land. You cannot have a commercial establishment,.however, in the Linden home areas.
