My avatar is female, I want a pretty, shy, girl-next-door look. My budget is flexible. I'm not a person that does this often, I enjoy other parts of SL, so I'd like to start from scratch, go back to default and buy a whole new look in the next hour or two with a few nice outfits I can change from time to time. I want a slimish but not skinny look with a little curve. Are you inworld and able to help by any chance? :))

Hi! I'm looking to do a bit of shopping towards a brand new avi, from scratch. Any experienced people able to help me? I don't really know where to start and have a bit of L to splurge on something that will last for the long time with 4-5 outfits too.

Thanks so much for all this advice, it's so useful and I've already been following some of it which has been really interesting. But, back to the original question, do any of you know of a personal shopper service? I understand this will cost some money. But I don't really want to be alone and I think I'd enjoy the experience of being with a 'specialist' for a couple of hours, giving me a second opinion and enjoying feeling a bit special for a while, leaving with a brand new look to enjoy SL all over again.

Well, I guess I'm interested in a relatively innocent look, tanned skin, maybe red hair, medium/normal build. No midriff on display or anything like that! I'm open minded really. I just need a fresh start. Re budget: I can splurge a little, I'm hoping to have an easy and fun experience of getting a new look that takes an hour or two and then sets me up for a few months without any more work to do apart from changing outfits/accessories. 3-4 outfits would be good: jeans and a top, formalwear, something business like and then something to go out in.

Thanks so much for replying, I'm new to the forum but my avatar is six years old. I don't really want to trawl through freebies and spend lots of time doing stuff. I'm looking for a personal service where someone can show me to some shops and let me choose out a whole new avatar - brand new look - then pick a few outfits. Then - help me with what to do to get it all working! I believe mesh is probably the way to go when starting from scratch, especially as I'm not worried about losing old clothes etc.

I'm in need of a brand new start. New avatar (mesh?), a few new outfits and some accessories. I have a few linden to spare to get me there - but I don't want to do it alone. I need help not only with the process of getting rid of everything I'm wearing and deleting the old items, but also the selection of new items. I need a personal shopper! Any ideas as to who/where might be able to help?
