I also wonder...don't you guys have some public relations person that would be like "I don't think this will fly with the residents?" Or "You know this is a really bad idea guys!" I really hope this one explodes in your faces. This is even worse than Gacha ever was. And I don't care how fast this one gets closed. If he was permanently banned on his first strike (and I learned to never take someone's word for that in SL) than the thing he did was no child's play it must have seriously bad. Or other possibility it wasn't his first strike and he just messed up and knew exactly what this kind of behavior would get him into.

LL is really not that fast with actually closing your account, except one thing that gets you in trouble probably fast when reported. But really you NEED to know why they did it. And you do. So don't tell us that you are oh so clueless and open a ticket with support if you want to appeal.

I think so because I noticed now (trial and error xD) than when I save a NEW thing instead of overwriting the old it saves just fine. Otherwise BOOM broken

Mayyyybe I will just take this as the hint I needed to sort my inventory again...xD 350k items but I have not sorted the new stuff over the last year I am afraid lol After I now sorted the objects folder (nope do not expect me to actually SORT, I just drag batches of it in subfolders and subsubsub folders and so on haha) I can wear the eyebrows without getting this error T^T my laziness in SL is really bad haha and biting my bum I am afraid.

This is what I get really often the last 2 days, those brows I just bought on the MP so no old item, after I tinted them this happened and same with shapes atm o-O anyone else experiencing this atm? 😧 and when I unpack a new set of brows it also says the same ...very weird.

I talked to some friends that started with me back then and we all agree on this point maybe it was different for you or for people not knowing you could get a new list by refreshing those were like dooozens of names alphabetacilly sorted and it was just enough for me (not even knowing about more cause first avatar) Edit: @elleevelyn

Nope. For me in 2007 it was alphabetically ordered. I remember because a friend gave up at B like Bing and I started from aaaall the way down and scrolled myself until I ended at the L section XD

It was a list of names to scroll down no refreshing, but some names were regional limited or time limited. And we were always able to chose our first name, that's why my name is Gwin she was named after my very first Dungeons and Dragon's character I made back in 1989 when my 6yo best friend and now RL and SL husband asked 6yo me to try this "American game" with him x3

I have a bridge that has separate physics, that I need to rezz also. Maybe thats the problem here, too? I fall through the bridge without the physics.

Beauty lies in the eye of the beholder. What's beautiful to you might be ugly to the non mesh person in front of you. I always talked to all the AVs that are nice, not nice looking but nice personality wise. Tinies, Dinkies, kids, animals, noobs, standard or mesh wearers ... I never care. The nicest conversations I found like this over the years ♪⁠ヽ⁠(⁠･⁠ˇ⁠∀⁠ˇ⁠･⁠ゞ⁠) But maybe because I never saw SL as a dating place, many do tho. And I personally prefer a well made non mesh av(well made as in put creativity into it) over another generic chubby babygirl. But I wouldn't say they should change or something because it's the awesome thing about this second life...we can have a name we want and can look like we want within a few seconds we can change into what we feel like today ʕ⁠っ⁠•⁠ᴥ⁠•⁠ʔ⁠っ

We all agree it wasn't the nicest to say things like that. But I noticed that with the bot flood of the last few years people got also very vary of certain avatars, like this women with large hat and the hippie dude. I even saw some people getting banned from places for wearing them. For this reason bots should have their own set of skins that scripted AVs are forced to use. Not to label them but to prevent that they are giving people using the standard AVs a bad name. (And they should do this before releasing their NUX body or it will fail because of it) Because active users should be able to wear what they want, mesh attached or ruthed. There's love for everyone, at least in my SL.

Yep, whyever they killed the last names is something I will never understand. It's what made SL different to many other platforms back then, you felt really special and actually thought a while about your name before entering it. It was feeling like starting a second life for real. And they killed it. The only decision I never understood and still really think was the most stupid thing to do, ever. Now it's just like with any other platforms, nothing special at all...and the resident names for sure are often really horrible x3

I saw it at Twitter yesterday and was HAing out loud, fishsticks and bikinibottom would have been better choices. Those are really horrible x3 even for merfolk standards, there would have been (wait for it)an ocean of nice choices, like scallop, and Coral and Pearl,Bonaqua, aquarium, seashell, oceanbreeze....SquarePants XD Sometimes it feels like they hold meetings and are like "ok the theme is XY and now we will find the most horrible things for it...the winner can leave office early!" 😂

And just to explain, not excuse, my bitterness today about this post...I work at a pediatric oncology clinic in RL and 3 kids did not make it this week, and I come to the forums at nights when I can not sleep ...when the thoughts are too loud, and you find such posts here. Posts made to divide, and it was nothing else, and it just triggered me in the wrong way. Next time I should just not feed the trolls. With this said, I'm out here too.

oooh ok so when you go in edit mode SL activates a light automatically, (sorry english isnt my first language haha) so of course everything looks brighter and shinier, so when you activate a brighter EEP or windlight it should look like this too or (I do not like them tho) wear a facelight

Are you new to this? You post an insulting/something many might not agree with thread. And really wonder that it goes this way? Now you act all lost about it either? When you started this thread you didn't seem so shy and lost about the word. I guess someone got more than what they asked for.
