For real? Windows 7 and people moan? To be fair LL always made sure SL is accessible for older potato's too but really someone complaining they can't anymore with windows 7 in 2023? C'mon non of the games I play outside of SL or even Software I need for work (Security protocols and all that jazz) would run on a PC with windows that old. It's not LL leaving some users behind, I hate to say it but get a new PC then, even a really cheap newer one would be better then. But if you only need your PC for SL and nothing else? Well skip it, maybe find a new hobby? and live with it but don't blame LL or the Firestorm team XD Other games or even phone apps aren't supporting older software/hardware as long as SL does. That's just how it's going sadly. Btw Windows 11 runs awesomely smooth on my machine and I never had problems, my friend who updated an older PC to it has some problems, it's not only the software to blame it's also the hardware

Nah. I am honest ... I'm an 80s baby and I damn love and miss it I was born in the shōwa era in Japan so my parcels are mostly decorations from shōwa era and early heisei era XD so it's mostly a mix of mid 80s and early 90s love. But I love it that way so hard ... In RL it's of course more modern but my hubby and me love finding stuff we had as kids and use them nower days too. But in SL it can always be my happy summer memories in grandma's farm house, filled with shaved ice, cicadas and tiny toy fireworks

If this happens a lot all of a sudden I firstly would restart my router! And no I have not encountered this problem but then again I am not often online in general lately...the RL demon has me *tinyreachinghand*

Also on a more serious note, if you behave like your mama teached you, and I got raised by my daredevil of grandmother, you are pretty fine without getting banned. Haven't managed to get banned in all my 16 years. I really believe that getting banned is NOTHING that happens by surprise (although some people in some threads are acting totally surprised) you do really need to want it and act like douchepineapple to get banned.

Don't we have other...real problems to focus on? This system was a bad idea back then and would be an even worse idea today. People behave much worse online today 😂 this would escalate so quickly that you better not blink.

LL we need to talk. I have kept really quiet about this in the other threads. And all I have to say is, it's a shame how LL is treating us and handling this situation. I don't mean they should ban the bots or such but how they are silencing those threads, instead of really talking to us residents, they chose the road of copy and pasting the same ToS section to us. Thanks we can Google that, too. That's not how you clear the distrust of your user base. Open talk and I mean open talk, that includes hearing things from the users that are not only favorable. And maybe it's also time to really take the concerns of your residents serious. Cause at the end of the day we, the residents, are what makes SL what it is. And maybe it's time to admit that the ToS needs some newer changes. Or at least it's time to admit that you guys allow it because you are relying on the bots on the grid and actually you guys seem to have no clue how to handle and limit them. I really am sad because for the first time ever in my 16 years on the grid I have the impression that they are hiding something and just try to silence us, in hopes it will all go away. Because SL residents rage loud and quick but also forget quickly. But they won't this time, those bots are popping up several times a day at my region alone. People won't even be able to forget. And if LL won't fix it someone else will find a way, to fix it how it always went. And I am not sure if they really want that to happen. And also those bots are showing all the residents what data is possible to get scraped, and I bet that's just the tip of the iceberg. So instead of silencing us, you better sit down with us and have a talk. You banned the girls from Virtual Secrets (no not a fan) for life but those bots guys get a sit-in with Patch and a pat on the back really? Talking of double standards...start listening.

I am not the huge socialmedia type of person ...The japanese speaking community loves Twitter 😭 so I have all my friends and family there. So I am probably only coming to mastodon when Twitter sank fully and all the good usernames are already taken like always I will be late x3

And here I am, naive and not bitter, thinking we are all from the same race, the human race. But yes I always had the feeling some people in here are cats in RL x3 and btw how this also not works is, Caucasian people telling people from a certain culture when to be offended. I really doubt that, it's just an easy excuse now.... otherwise your post and your answers in here would have looked different, you wouldn't have called it yellowface. This is at best cultural appropriation...and I can tell that the person taking this picture unintentionally mixed like at least 3 cultures XD but I don't see ill intention here. So you singeling out this one picture from a Flickr artist "you like" seems rather fishy and should be taken down for naming and shaming. There's real racist pictures, easily to be found on there. I personally wouldn't call myself asian, I'm japanese. But everyone can do as they please. This discussion is as pointless as my cold coffee here at work at the moment 😂 it's probably just trolling from someone bored.

Maybe you should work on getting some good reputation with some inworld blog about ....dunno SL in general first. That way you could show the better parts of SL also. You said that people portray us SLers as weirdos and yet you are offended if we aren't jumping on your weird very vague NSFW request. If it wasn't vague why so many people in here assumed things? We don't know you, talking to you in a long recorded voice session? Something you could cut together as you please? Wouldn't it be really weird to be like "ok I'll do that!" This request seemed to most of us probably as legit as the dude with the dirty truck offering you to show you kittens or baby bunnies. And your reaction to us questioning your motives just is another red flag tbh. And I bt not only to me. As I said start building a reputation first before you jump into such things head first.

Lol really the people at LL must hate the forums sometimes...they aquire things like Caspervend? Same people start to howl how bad this will be and how could they?.. that are now in here wanting LL to buy a body that no one wanted. I loved Sid and her wits and she always was nice, I owned all the feet and all her hands, I owned physique and hourglass and all her heads because as a blogger back then you needed to and honestly her heads were not pretty to put it nicely, they never sold good so please they don't need to be saved. And the bodies have really weird proportions (for my taste) and they never took off as the later bodies did, for reasons, the only plus side she had was hourglass because that shape of body was a niche back then, but as soon as others came into that niche game it faded out pretty quickly too. And the cinnamon and chai? I bet not many people even bothered to grab a demo for them at all. As sad as it is to see Sid leaving and especially for her pain, but LL shouldn't but those bodies out of nostalgia, they have other things to focus on to push the grid forward. I wish Sid that she finds new happiness and fulfilment in whatever adventure there is for her out there next. And I also wish for her to look back all happy and proud. But to focus on her future and health.

Here in Tokyo 🗼 it's almost 10 am already on the first, and I am waiting bored for everyone to be dressed and ready to go to the shrine. We celebrated with the whole family, and we watched the first dawn of the year, it's a meaningful thing here but I think not many other cultures care that much for it haha We had a lot of food and fun ... Karaoke all night and I can't wait for getting our lucky charms at the shrine now. I never spent new year, in SL in all my 15 years x3
