  1. Hi my alt Billy picked up a beautiful landscaped Victorian in Leonine News, it is on the cliff (channel of water below) and from the back of house you see the green cliffs across the way and the tip of the roof of one very lucky duck with a traditional in a very secluded spot! There are double flowers in front (inside and outside the brick wall) plus small rocks, and many trees and a weeping willow. http://maps.secondlife.com/secondlife/Leonine Mews/232/184/52 Will abandon at 9:15 am SLT
  2. Picked up a nice Victorian in Caladium with river at the back, peaceful! I would keep it if I wasn't looking for a certain kind of coastal Victorian My alt Billy will let it go at 9:20 am http://maps.secondlife.com/secondlife/Caladium/232/68/23
  3. I believe the Victorian region Ayerdale has been released
  4. Hi just picked up a nice seaside Victorian in Tilting Meadows, green yard and all pretty flowers in front (no brick walls, kind of different!) with a nice park across the street. I already have a seaside Victorian (still looking for the elusive green yard that slopes gently to a sandy beach, my neighbor across the street has one and now I can't "unsee" it lol, should not have looked around!). My alt will release it at 1:40 pm SLT http://maps.secondlife.com/secondlife/Tilting Meadows/116/61/23
  5. I have a beautiful Vic that I can walk out the back door onto a sandy beach and into the water....but the front flowers are kind of...so so. This week I hopped for fun and landed a gorgeous Vic in Swithins Bridge with the nicest landscaping I have ever seen....but I can't walk out onto the beach from it...if only I could merge the 2 parcels together they could be the perfect Victorian
  6. I abandoned a Vic in Cadaceus about 15 mins ago and it is still a Linden Home, just a heads up for those not looking for a non-water setting...http://maps.secondlife.com/secondlife/Caduceus/187/222/29
  7. I have used all the models except for the Hardy. Usually I go with the Doyle because it is a good size for one person. If the parcel has an outstanding view, I try out different models and look out the windows to see which one has the best view of the view Yesterday I accidentally picked up a lakeside Vic with gorgeous willows and a park view, but the house is oriented sideways to the lake (bummer), so after some back and forth I picked the Shelley because it is centered on the lot (the Verne is positioned way to the right) and has an add on for a side deck on the right side so now there is a good view from the deck. Hope you find a model that is just right for you!
  8. It is in the middle on the side edge, not a corner, am loving the landscaping (am in an online class so only had time to take a fast peek!) Very pretty
  9. I upped an alt to premium and tried for this, didn't get it but got some really nice consolation Vics lol, one by a river, one by the lake with the island in Poole, then just got a seaside one at Swithins Bridge! Nice ones are coming pretty regular today
  10. If you go to the thread in Linden Homes called Bellisserians Show Off Your Home and Garden, and search under "camper" it will bring up some posts by people showing how they furnished theirs. Maybe also try "trailer" or some of the model names like Williamsburg or Colorado
  11. I think posting your beautiful work inspires people, whenever I see you have posted in Home and Garden I can't wait to click and see what is new! I would love to purchase your designs if you figure out a way to sell without stress My personal opinion about selling on the Marketplace is: it can be stressful, and if there are any issues including lack of knowledge on the buyer's part on how to line up an add-on etc., they will want a fast response. Then you may start feeling like you HAVE to log into SL often to check for messages, or send your IMs to your email and bring added stress into your real life. Some people will post a nasty review without even contacting the creator. I had this happen to me years ago when MP switched from those boxes to the new system, I added my KittyCats collars and triple checked everything and MP kept moving my items so they were mismatched and someone bought a collar that was supposed to be black with diamonds and instead got an all-pearl white one lol. Bad review ha ha! Anyway, I think you should do what brings you joy with your SL life and keep your creativity flowing ♥ A thought: I wonder if creators can "off source" their builds to a trusted friend who would do all the Marketplace listing and customer service under their name, some kind of arrangement. I don't know much about all the rules and things so this may not be possible or allowed...Gacha sellers can resell other creators work...not sure about copy-mod stuff though...Hmmm.
  12. One of my premium alts expires Friday so I am releasing my houseboat at http://maps.secondlife.com/secondlife/Cayo Lejano/93/48/23 , my alt Billy (a goat avatar) will release it at 11 am SLT today. Pic below. Note: I derendered the pier on one side and the boat next door, which don't show in the pic, but it is still a very good location, one of the best I've had for a boat! Another nice thing is that if I remember right, all 4 models face forward.
  13. I am partial to the log cabins, they are my favorite because they remind me of when I had a home in Truckee, a beautiful mountain town by Lake Tahoe. At first I hopped a lot with the log homes, trying for one of the coveted "water on 2 sides" river level parcels, and when I finally landed one it felt too open, in the sight lines of too many houses. Abandoned it and picked up a home in Bindlestiff with a drive through redwood, park and lake view in front, and hills in back and one side that form a "Vee". I built a small waterfall in the Vee using a Skye kit which made me think of Coby and her gorgeous river and water additions When the news is bad in the world, I like to go to my little meditation spot by the waterfall and relax, it is hidden and secluded. I am looking forward to the stilt home release, so light and airy and watery...however I think I will be hanging on to my little cabin in the woods for a long time!
  14. I really like the houses coming off the pier, looking at Daniel's pic I am seeing they are closer together around the pier than the all water homes (which makes sense). The land-water ones would allow for a little outside decorating...the all water ones we could really prim up the interiors lol. And have a great boat. I have not "home hopped" for a couple months, am looking forward to these wonderful homes releasing late(r) this year
  15. I was there late yesterday and it was all blank, you could look over the stone wall at the "ocean". I don't think anything has been revealed yet...
  16. I do remember the Lab Gab, pretty sure it is the one with the moles on Feb 28 2020, Patch had asked for questions online and I filled out a form and asked "will new house models be added to the existing themes", Patch referred to the question and said something along the lines of: They do plan to add new models that would show up in the mailboxes but it is not a top priority for this year- possibly next year. (2021). I think the new picture is for a theme ....but to echo Evangeline "I could be wrong though".
  17. Thanks for this informative tutorial! I've been around SL for quite a while and still did not really understand the impact of the Running Scripts box...will go add the Everyone option. The only other thing I do different is I don't restrict the Sounds to the parcel, because then I can't hear all the wonderful birds, bugs and water sounds the moles have provided. The downside to that is sometimes hearing loud sounds from other parcels, like an autoplaying musical instrument 2 regions away! Or a sad Zooby baby crying alone in a crib (awww). Then, I check the map for Nearby avatars, then cam around until I find the object and Mute it. If it is obvious what the sound is, like a piano, will use area search on Piano to find the location. Sometimes it takes a really long time to find the sound object. And a few times I have cammed into unoccupied houses to mute a sound. If anyone has a better method for tracking down sound objects please chime in! (yes sometimes I mute overly loud windchimes too ha ha). If the moles would consider adding their sounds to the Content packages I would gladly use a few prims to put their wonderful mole sounds on my parcel, restrict sounds to my parcel, and solve the problem. Have bought sounds from the Marketplace but they just aren't the same.
  18. Since the log cabins are dwindling fast, am going to release a parcel that I had been mulling over, it has a nice view of a pond directly in front (road on the side), is fairly secluded, hill in back, the area looks like a Thomas Kincade painting. It is at http://maps.secondlife.com/secondlife/Southbury/139/177/56 Will release at 4:30 pm slt
  19. I'd love to set out the set of these adorable looking mole-gnomes in the garden, but am afraid I would come home to find my house TP'd and the Quartz Gnome missing (yes I know there is a TP shortage but I have the feeling Beth is extremely resourceful)
  20. My alt got one there early this morning at http://maps.secondlife.com/secondlife/Fools Errand/192/228/52 and let it go, it's status is still "Linden Home".
  21. Just curious with the log homes...if you abandon one, does it *maybe* go to the front of the queue? I am emptying out a front facing large river home in Cyclone (one of those rivers that form a circle lol) and am wondering if it helps anyone if I post here when I abandon it? **Will release at 5:20 pm
  22. Downgrading an alt and releasing a beautiful coastal traditional in Sawtooth with a lighthouse view ( with some derendering) at 7:30 am SLT. I loved this house! Hope the next person enjoys it as much as I have http://maps.secondlife.com/secondlife/Sawtooth/86/195/41
  23. Sometimes with abandoned Victorians, if I thought the house style and/or color and trims didn't suit the parcel, I would change things around to try to give it more curb appeal before I left it for the next owner
  24. My second Log Home "Peaceful Pond", the Lincoln (my alts were busy in the beginning of April!). It has a tiny pond across the road and a gorgeous side pond with fireflies, and the back is an empty SSPE region...am holding on to the house to see what happens behind it, more houses or ??? There are 2 add ons, a front porch (4 li) and an upstairs room (5 li) with a window and skylights (both add ons by PUMBY). The mole landscaping here is fabulous, just added some Skye ground flowers and some ferns. (p.s. I am learning Gimp, sharpened the pix then decided to scale down all of their sizes so some of the pix are overly sharp lol). The last pic is my bathroom shot through the add on skylights, all the glass can be set to "super frosted private mode" in case there is a peeping hawk or something
