I may be wrong, but I think you're all missing a couple of things: In SL, you can make your body appear however you want...and the sexuality is VERY VERY loose here. Plus, a lot of the fashions, I think, are designed that way. I don't know of many shops that sell pants and long tops. Most sell really short skins, stockings and low cut tops...again, all my opinion. Also, a good percentage (and I have no numbers only my personal research) of females in SL are played by men. What guy wouldn't want their girl to be dressed all sexy, showing off lots of skin??? So, of course, they dress that way too. Again..just my opinion...:matte-motes-sunglasses-2:

I generally get tired of replying to these research paper questions, but I think this might help you. I have a Master/Sub relationship in SL with a number of different girls. Some have been around for a while (in SL time, meaning almost 8 months) and we each know a certain level about each other. I have seen pictures of my pet in RL, as well as some other girls, and I know a bit about them. I trust them and I believe they trust me. We have even exchanged email addresses. However, I do not know their RL names, and they don't know mine and I have never seen pictures of my "alpha sub" and she has not seen mine. I guess in answer to your question, trust has many different levels,..it is very much like RL.,You will tell a person so much before it starts to get scary. Well..It took a complete uninstall (through control panel) and a fresh install, plus unplugging and replugging my modem to get Firestorm to work again. I hope that the store fixed their problem and other people won't go through this. Thanks to everyone for your help!!

I had an odd situation last night and wanted some opinions: I went with someone to a store to pick up some items..she checked out first and never got the items (thought at first was because they were new and logged off before they were delivered). I tried for her and got a message that said that the store was unable to deliver. I followed their instructions and sent a notecard to customer service. Now..ever since then, my viewer has been acting funky. When I teleported back to my home, I was unable to see who was on line (unless I IMd them first), I can't edit my objects, I move rather stiffly and I had horrible chat lag. I logged off a few times but the problem was still there, even tried installing Firestorm with no luck. So I tp'd back to the store to see if that might help, but it made me teleport twice to the same location and happened again when I teleported home. Has this ever happened to anyone else? I'm not sure if it will be corrected when I log in tonight, but looking for any suggestions on what might have happened or how to fix it. If it's still happening, I'm probably going to send a ticket to LL. Thanks for any help...

It also depends on where in SL you go. You may not discover much sexism in moderate or even adult sims...but Gor (and please don't jump all over me for this....)may be full of it. Go out and explore..find the answers for yourself as well as hitting us up for information!!!!

I'm not sure how to contact them, but how about putting up a sign with a teleport pad in the old location so that people who wind up there will have the correct place to go? Then, ask them to bookmark the new location. At least it's a temporary solution until someone can fix your problem....
