Being that I wanted to know if the DD system was working right, I always ask them to relog and look for a Recieved Items folder at the bottom of their inventory. In every single case, the item was sitting their in the folder. This right ^ here is excellent advise! I bet 90% of the customer complaint IM's stating they "didn't receive my item" is because they don't know (or don't think) to look in their received items folder. Thank you, Medhue! I too, have had no direct delivery failed deliveries.
  2. Medhue Simoni wrote: While I can't speak for any1 else, but my sales have been somewhat normal on the MP. I have migrated completely to direct delivery (did so on the 21st), and aside from a few days on and after that date where I had no sales at ALL, my sales have gone back to normal as well. No delivery failures, no missed payouts, no "borked" listings.
  3. Howdy, Miss Zhoie! I've been updating like crazy the past week or so (boxed to foldered), and I've not had any problems like what you describe. My outbox operates flawlessly and quickly! Just be sure you are using V3 or Firestorm 4.0.1. Also (and I know this sounds nuts), go into your preferences > General tab > change the language from Default to English. This helps the outbox tremendously! I dunno why. Once you can get things into your outbox again, wait 5 minutes after they successfuly upload and then go to Edit > Edit Associated, and select the new item. Click update. DONE! Don't forget to delete the old one out of unassociated!
  4. Pearl Vollmar wrote: Yes, mine are also in the 1400000 range. Good mornin, Everybody. I just checked my listings (not ALL, but a lot), since I have none that are broken in any way. I converted to direct delivery on the 21st, so my entire store is set up as direct and I've been working, daily, on converting my listings to foldered instead of boxed. I have no listings in the 1400000 range. My earliest listing is in the 2200000 range, and that number goes up as the listings get newer. So...you may be on to something. In doing my updating, my merchant outbox is working flawlessly and the website is moving very fast now. The only thing that slows me down is the 5 minute wait time for updated items to show in the "Edit Associated" window. I came up with a system of updating so that I only have to wait the 5 minutes once per update session, but I've found that I'm sometimes quicker at making changes than even that so I still end up waiting sometimes for my new item to appear. I really REALLY hope they find a solution to this mess and SOON! At the very least they've got to communicate more with us about what in H.E.doublehockeysticks is goin on! What they're doin, how long it will take, etc!

Message me in-world if you're interested. In the meantime, DO NOT rez it in any place where the map shows other boxes rezzed, as such locations are borked too often to bother risking it. It you want to see how your box should work before committing to anything, just take it to Help Island or some other Linden sim and attach it to your avatar before synching to the Market. You'll need to load your box before that, which you can get away with in a public sandbox as long as you clean it up right away. Just don't bother attaching it to your avatar in a sandbox because those places are massively lagged. The reason a box will function correctly when attached to your avatar on Linden land is simpy that Lindens never bork Linden land. You can even TP out and it should work fine as long as it still thinks it's rezzed on Linden land. Once you've observed proper box function, that should be your standard in selecting some other place to rez the thing. Voodoo! Voodoo I tell ya! ROFL! :smileyvery-happy:

  7. Darrius Gothly wrote: Just a weird thought but ... Older Viewers like Phoenix will show a Merchant Outbox folder, but it has no Merchant Outbox function. I wonder if you could log in using one of those viewers and then delete the item from its non-functional but visible Merchant Outbox folder. Oooo...that's an interesting thought!
  8. Sera Lok wrote: I would guess that because so many merchants aren't getting any sales at all due to the mixed up listings issue through no fault of their own, perhaps the Commerce Team has frozen the search relevance changes, thinking that this is more 'fair' somehow than letting it continue to run. That or it's a "performance improvement." Howdy, Miss Sera! /me smiles and tip his hat your way Luckily, my store is unaffected by the cross-linking reported by some (/me knocks on wood real hard) and my sales in March were the highest they've been this year so far! I migrated on the 21st along with so many others, so all my deliveries have been through direct. I've also not seen any multiple deliveries or permissions changes. Of course now that I've said something about it, my store and its sales will go to hell in a handbasket. There were several days on and after the 21st that I had absloutely NO sales and I was scared that something had happened. Now, I'm getting several sales per day again (I'm just small potatoes, mind you) and so everything looks to be back to "normal." Search seems to be fine at least for my little corner of the marketplace.
  9. Josh Susanto wrote: If you intend to stay logged on for a while, you might go to a Linden sim, such as Help Island, and attach tiny duplicate boxes inside your avatar. Even if you TP out, the boxes will still think they're rezzed on Linden land, and will work GREAT. The LIndens still haven't found a way to make this not work, which I suspect is why they really eliminated camping exactly when they did. Josh, What kind of voodoo IS this? Go to Linden land and attach magic boxes inside your avatar? That would mean you would have to stay logged in 24/7 for those boxes to work properly. I've never had to do anything crazy like that before! LOL! Attaching magic boxes inside your avatar...holey moley what WILL they think of next??
  10. Something I've heard works to fix these sorts of problems is to change your viewers language setting from Default to English (or whatever language you speak natively). In Firestorm: Preferences > General Tab > Click the dropdown menu where it says Language. Change it from Default to English. I KNOW this sounds crazy, but it's an easy thing to try and has fixed others crazy little merchant outbox problems. I would do it while you are not inworld. Log off, change the setting, restart your viewer, and log back on again. See if that helps ya. I hope it does the trick!
  11. I don't like playing that game either. No inworld notification except for the "coin" sound when money is deposited. Hopefully they'll turn on ANS sometime this week. And FYI...it's working fine for me too.

I owe you all sooo much, Thank you, sincerely. Marcus, for the perfect instructions, Josh for rooting me on, and Darrius. For the energy. :matte-motes-whistle: Good mornin, Miss Kirsten! You're welcome, and sleep well!

  14. Darrius Gothly wrote: Marcus Hancroft wrote: Howdy, Cyneswith! Yes. If you just drag the contents of the magic box (open it and copy to your inventory first) and don't change the names, they will automatically be associated with the correct listings! Keep in mind though that your unassociated items folder (which is where the old items will go once the association is complete) can only hold 100 items. So do a few at a time and bulk delete them as you go. No, you will NOT lose your reviews. The associated item is being replaced and that's all. This is not exactly correct Marcus. The "100 item limit" only applies to items that are marked as type "Direct". You can put 50,000 items marked Magic Box in the Unassociated and it doesn't matter; it only counts Direct Items toward the 100 item limit. (emphasis mine) Howdy, Darrius! Yes, I know. I just neglected to add that piece of information into this response. I added it into another of its kind. I dunno why I failed to mention it in this thread. Scatterbrained I guess.
  15. Kristen Coledale wrote: And I so sorry to hear of your loss Puts this trivial thing into perspective Thank you too, Miss Kristen. Sounds like you got them to work...and you're working on reassociating now. Good luck.
  16. Jacki Silverfall wrote: Sorry for your loss Marcus :smileysad: Thank you, Miss Jacki. It's been a tough one for me. He was my best friend in SL.
  17. Kristen Coledale wrote: Thank you Marcus I can't do this via bulk edit? Editing 213 items is going to take me all damned night. Whoever's bright idea this was should be.......kicked. REALLY FREAKING HARD :**( Thanks for your help everyone You're quite welcome. There's a lot you can do in bulk edit, but this isn't one of them. You're talking about the actual individual items that get delivered and how. Not something like perms or description or something. Yes. It will take a while. But if you have your heart set on migrating back to magic boxes, you'll just have to spend the time. And believe me...I know it's a pain in the rear! My business partner died on Friday and I've had to go in and delete his 50% from every single one of my listings by hand too! And I have 443 right now!
  18. AnnMarie Otoole wrote: You would have to de-activate and remove all the DD entries so your marketplace is empty, then re-rezz your box and re-list each item from scratch. Although they have a migration path from box listings to DD there is no way to go the other directions. BUT SO far I've not found any way to DELTE inactive objects. Once they are in your marketplace inventory they are stuck there forever, or I'm missing SOMETHING??? I hope you don't do a lot of edits. In the past you just replaced the edited item n the box. PERIOD. Now you have to put it in the MERCHANT OUTBOX, Upload it, then log into your account, go to your listings, find the out of date item, edit, find the "Edit Assoicated Object", click on it, then find the uploaded object in the Unassociated Inventory Items, click on it, then click on UPDATE. WHAT A DRAG!. Or you can do as AnnMarie suggests and relist everything from scratch, which to ME is worse than reassociating. I mean...descriptions, photos, perms, adding 8 "Like" items at the bottom...MUCH more work than just reassociating.
  19. Rez your boxes with all those products in them. Then go to your marketplace manage listings page. Resync your boxes. You will have to manually reassociate each one so that it is associated with the magic box item and not the Direct delivery one. Go to Edit the 1st item, scroll down to Edit Associated and search for the magic box item. Click it. Then click Update at the bottom. If I were you, I would delete the direct delivery item each time you do an update so your unassociated items doesn't get full up. It can only hold 100 direct delivery items in it. This will take you a while because automatic association only happens from magic box to direct delivery. Not the other way around.
  20. Howdy, Cyneswith!
  21. Well then you know what you have to do, right? File a ticket. Be sure to put in all the transaction information and even copy & paste your conversation with your customer to show them that she did indeed get her purchase. Hopefully, they will force through your payment like the others they've already done. Good luck!
  22. Josh Susanto wrote: Thank you for posting your list, Marcus, which is very clear. 9 steps seems like a lot, but you've probably included them all, which I tend to appreciate as a non-intuitive user. Howdy, Josh. You're welcome. It's only 9 steps once. The first two are to just get the first set uploaded so I only have to wait the five minutes once. After that, things move pretty quickly. Keep in mind though, this is how I update listings. This isn't for migrating. I'm switching over to foldered items instead of boxed on most things. Before I thought of this, I was bringing up my Yahtzee game and throwing some rounds while I wanted 5 minutes each time. LOL! Then I thought...there's gotta be a better way. O.M.G.! Upload 2 at a time! I'd been doing one at a time so I didn't lose my place or have a BUNCH of unassociated that I couldn't bulk delete again. I went through that once already. And yes...that's all the steps I take. After step one and two being done once, it goes down to 7 steps. Heheh
  23. Darrius Gothly wrote: Circe Ishtari wrote: Thank you Darrius^^ I did all that steps but there is one point I did not do like that. I was using the search in that appearing box list of Step 6 "Step 6 – Locate and Choose the Update Folder" in that document you posted here. I used the search because my list is very long to scroll (I know, there are people with 4000+ products, must be a pain to scroll). If I do use the search, the NEW updated product do not appear there. I also do not understand why this list loads all products and not just the current unassociated ones? I'am sorry for my bad english and hope it is a bit understandable. So, if you do not use search, it works and at the very end of the listing you will find the new product you want to associate, maybe helpful for others to know. You're welcome. The Commerce Dev Team has added a 5-minute delay from the time a DD folder is uploaded until it is available in the Unassociated Items list. That is why Search doesn't find it right away. If you upload a replacement folder then wait five minutes, it will show up with Search. This ^^ is exactly correct. There is a 5 minute delay between uploading and it being available in the Edit Associated list. Darrius is correct. I've been doing a lot of updating as well, and what I do is: 1) Upload 2 items 2) Wait the 5 minutes 3) Go in and edit the 1st item (permissions, description, photos, etc) 4) Reassociate it with the new upload 5) Click Update at the bottom 6) Go back to the SL viewer and upload the next item 7) Go back to the web browser and delete the old item which will now be in the unassociated list 8) Do a Test Delivery to make sure it's good 9) Go to step 3 and begin again By the time you get those steps in that order done, the 2nd item you uploaded with the 1st will be ready in the Edit Associated list. Of course, this only works if you have a lot of updates to perform. If you just have one...you're gonna have to upload and then wait.
  24. So not only did she key in his name for the necklace to go, she ALSO keyed in a little "love uuu xoxoxox" message. And she still wants you to think she "didn't order" it??
