  1. Reduced to L$18000 (8.79/m) For clarity, this is not a grid edge parcel - it's on a protected coastal sailing channel that connects to the rest of the grid. Void view is beyond that. Keep your view, and sail it too!
  2. Directly in front, where there's no fence, is abandoned land to the Tilsit sim edge. Where you see the inlet in the first photo is also abandoned land in the Mimolette sim.
  3. 1536m regular shaped parcel. Flat and green. 527 prims, moderate rating. This parcel is surrounded on three sides by abandoned land, which can be purchased from LL through a support ticket if you would like to expand your borders! Or just enjoy the current breathing room. Priced at L$1350 (.88/m) Thanks for looking http://maps.secondlife.com/secondlife/Tilsit/231/7/29
  4. 1024m roadside lot in Bay City - Morton. 2x Prim allowance, so this 1024m parcel offers 703 prims instead of the regular 351. Moderate rating. Located across from protected parkland, and one sim away from New Port Marina for boat rezzing, in case you feel inspired to walk there. The neighbouring 992m parcel is also available from a different seller (same price), so you could join them into an awesome rectangle Priced at L$120,000. That's 117.2/m, and if you know Bay City, you know this is L$20-40/m below the norm Thanks for looking! Have a great SL! ❤️ http://maps.secondlife.com/secondlife/Bay City - Morton/49/73/25
  5. Located on the Northern coast of Sansara, directly adjacent to Linden protected sailable water, and grid edge void water view after that. East facing, so water comes toward you. It's a quick easy sail to ocean sims: ANWR channel and Color Sims coastal waters. Or spend days exploring the nearly endless sights along Sansara's waterways and inland lakes. Parcel is 92m deep, and ranges from 16m wide at the back to 28m protected water frontage. Lots of room for big boats! http://maps.secondlife.com/secondlife/Palulop/182/163/23 L$19,500 (9.5/m) Thanks for Looking ❤️
  6. Hi Edward, Just wanted to point out that your adjacent Linden water to the west is actually abandoned land - a selling feature for those who might want to buy your parcel and then expand it. But remember that anyone can buy that abandoned land and build on it, so you might want to adjust your ad to reflect this. And for clarity, this is a really pretty spot with great potential!
  7. flat green Adult rated parcel at http://maps.secondlife.com/secondlife/Yuxley/87/213/74 1024m, 351 prims. L$5000 Lowest price I can find for a square 1024m on Zindra
  8. Both parcels reduced! 1024m - L$6,125 (5.98/m) 2048m - L$12,250 (5.98/m)
  9. When I was a very young AV, someone randomly bestowed a cash gift on me. I think it was like L$500 or something - maybe 1k - but it was significant at the time since my only income above the L$50 basic LL stipend was camping for L$3-5/10min (back when traffic mattered). The gift left me with a good feeling about SL and the people in it, and I stuck around. So I went to the welcome hub tonight (17 years later), looking for a new resident to drop a cash gift on. I watched people arriving for a few minutes, but couldn't be certain who was actually new - I have no interest in paying bots or alts - so I asked a mentor if they could recommend a bonafide new resident that might appreciate a little kindness, with the altruistic goal of maybe contributing to fractional population growth here in SL. After a short discussion, he convinced me not to do this. I get it, we don't want to encourage solicitation at the welcome hub, any more than is already happening at least. All I wanted to do was make someone smile, and maybe get a head start that makes them want to stick around. So, suggestions? Short of becoming an SL mentor, how else can we welcome and retain new members? The cash gift thing might only make sense through the lens of my own experience - there must be other ways?
  10. 2 flat green Adult rated parcels at http://maps.secondlife.com/secondlife/Yuxley/93/249/74 Not many parcels priced like this on the Zindra continent 1024m - L$7,500 (7.3/m) 2048m - L$15,000 (7.3/m) At is.Land we don't round the decimals down! At least the first one anyway Thanks for Looking! Have a great SL ❤️
  11. This is reduced to L$7500 - 7.3/m on Zindra!
  12. 1024m square parcel in Adult region. Comes with a landform that will transfer ownership. All other objects will remain if you want but will not transfer. This area has a lot of unbuilt land on two sides, so it feels pretty open at ground level. Starting this one off at L$8.3/m - That's L$8500 http://maps.secondlife.com/secondlife/Lastenham/240/165/92 Thanks for looking
  13. Update: I have successfully upgraded my OS to 10.13 and can run the default browser again. It's comfy to go back to - everything's in the right place - but I love my Firestorm environment now too, mostly because everything that bugs me has been permanently de-rendered and my frame rate is insane (for me). So I'm alternating between both now, depending on what I'm doing. @AmeliaJ08 Re: the M1 chip. SL default settings on both machines provide a similar framerate, with a marginal advantage to the older iMac, which had pretty great video for 2013 - that's why I bought it back then. But there's no doubt that the default settings on the M1 laptop provide a far superior visual experience in terms of rendering quality and realism. Like, gorgeously better. I just don't use the laptop unless I'm travelling due to the 13 inch screen - everything is too small, for me at least, and when I plug in my external monitor I get weird cursor glitching that makes camera control next to impossible. This week, since I AM travelling, I'll be looking into the particulars of the default video settings to see if I can improve the frame rate on the laptop. I'm certain that it will smoke the iMac without difficulty, but t's almost too pretty to mess with though. I'll also be putting Firestorm on the laptop so I can continue to obliterate offensive builds.
