  1. This great water parcel has sunset views to open ocean, sandy beach, lots of deep water for big boats, and a sailing access channel that can get you out sailing Bellisseria! To be clear, this is not an oceanfront parcel. It also doesn't carry an oceanfront price tag! But ocean water is a short sail away through a channel maintained by a generous neighbour who shares my belief in a free access SL experience. Stop by, enjoy the view, rez your boat and try the sailing channel for yourself. Priced at L$12,000 (2.9/m) http://maps.secondlife.com/secondlife/Haeoreum/121/74/24 Hope you're all having a great week! l
  2. Excellent boating lot on Protected Waterway that runs along the South coast of Heterocera. From Alleni it is an easy sail along 6 sims of coastline to reach the ANWR Channel - the ocean link to Sansara - giving access to the Bay of Space Pigs, L-Shaped Lake, Mare Secundus, Sea of Fables, and all other Sansara waterways and historical places! Plenty of room for big boats here - I have a Namaste rezzed for scale. There's also a submerged island so you can walk around and visualize the size and shape of the parcel with land, instead of a boat. If you want you can also walk the seabed underneath that. This is nice deep water here! If you want more than the standard 351 prims for this parcel, there is roughly 7000m of abandoned land available for purchase in this sim. For people new to owning land, all parcels you own in a sim will count toward your total prim limit in that sim - it doesn't matter which one you rezz things on. (If you would like a quick walkthrough of how to request abandoned land from LL, I'd be happy to help.) Priced at L$9900 http://maps.secondlife.com/secondlife/Alleni/33/82/25
  3. Just curious... do you know if that might be a business logo of his on the boxes?
  4. A little while ago I let go of my JEVN Users group, and I remember a pang of remorse immediately after leaving it. It's a dead product, and the group was never much of a social experience, but it was still something I couldn't get back - I spent a lot of time with that system, and it was part of my SL experience back in the day. Since then it's been harder for me to let those old groups go. It's more than nostalgia...seeing the groups on my list every day keeps those magical early days of SL alive in my imagination I guess. There's one group I can't let go, that defines my early SL identity. Out of 70+ members, only 4 others have logged into SL in 2022, and none in 2023. Anyone else the last one standing in your favourite group?
  5. Thanks for the ubercool feedback - I'm always happy to learn how people interpret my words so I can communicate better in the future. It sounds like "accessible water" would be a better term to use going forward, rather than describing water as 'open' for sailing (i.e. not banned - my interpretation). IMO, absence of the word Protected in a land ad is a 100% guarantee that the parcel boundary is not protected. No land seller is going to leave that out of an ad for protected land. But that's me, and I'll try to be more clear in the future. To those actually shopping for land here: For clarity, this is not protected water. The ad states that the water is maintained by the Blake Sea VIPs group. I will add here that the other neighbour named their parcel "Jean Zee protects the ocean throughway". Of course there are no guarantees - It's SL. Buyer should always beware, as our friend states above. Visit parcels, walk around and discover details that you like or dislike, decide if the price works for you, and buy it or move on. Hope everyone's having a great weekend!
  6. This parcel now has additional adjoining primland available! 128m will be added for L$1 upon purchase if you wish, or depending on your tier limits any portion of the extra primland can be subdivided according to your wishes and set for sale to you (still L$1 total!) Have a great day!
  7. This was temporarily off the market, but now it's back! Sorry to those who visited while it was down. L$10.9k
  8. Thanks for that Marius, it is indeed! http://maps.secondlife.com/secondlife/Celadon/91/53/23 ...Coffee first, then write ads...
  9. This 512m sailing plot has 2 edges on open water that is expressly maintained for sailing. You have direct frontage on the Hermanly/Joomos Channel maintained by Blake Sea VIPs group to connect North and South Nautilus. Great for private boat slip or float home. Sail North to Corsica along the Nautilus West Coast, or head South for a long but rewarding trip to the Blake Sea. Route map attached. http://maps.secondlife.com/secondlife/Hermanly/10/238/21 L$11,000 Thanks for looking! Much love!
  10. Historical Awesomeness! This is your chance to own land in one of the significant early neighbourhoods in SL.This sunset beach parcel is a quick sail through mature open water to protected LInden waterways, leading to immediate ocean sim boating joy right from your own dock! There's a map attached below showing how close your access really is. Your neighbour and open water benefactor is Tiger Crossing, a 19.5 year old foundational SL resident. Tiger has a store on the free-sailing water parcel that connects you to protected water, and it has been there for a very long time (no ban lines). The sim itself dates back to 2004 - you can almost taste the SL history here. If you haven't done the Color Sim pod ride yet, it runs directly past this (your?) parcel while it's narrating about the oldest sims in SL. Consider it a bonus that these ancient sims are now hosted at 100% performance on the same top-tier Amazon servers as every other region in SL. It wasn't always the case for these old dogs... Thanks for looking - I hope you have a great day! Much love Island
  11. AH-Mayzing oceanfront property with boating access to all of SL! This is one of those special 'keeper' parcels. I'd keep it if I hadn't already found my home! No 'river' or 'channel' here, this parcel has direct frontage to a multi-sim ocean that connects to Blake Sea, Nautilus inland seas, Nautilus West Coast waters, and all Corsica coastal sailing sims, all the way to Blake!! Sail to the Blake Sea through Wavewalker, South to Spirit Witch - see map image below - this route is tested and works. BUT a better day on the water takes you North to Corsica, East along Corsica's north shore and then south down to the Blake sea. Of course you can cheat and cut along Corsica's south shore and get there sooner, but what's the fun of that? All of this is possible from the boat you keep rezzed on this land! I have a NAMASTE rezzed on the parcel for scale - this is the largest modern Sailboat in SL at 80+m - it fits fine in multiple orientations on the parcel and is navigable easily from the parcel to the ocean! Or, you could stay home and enjoy the big sandy beach with SUNSET views. In addition to your own dedicated protected Ocean Sim frontage, all other waterways connected to this property are open and sailable! Come rez your boat and sail for yourself. I can delete the massive sailboat if it's in your way - just IM, or catch me here enjoying the place before it sells. Bonus water parcel is available if you want it - 512 where my noob yacht is moored, yours for L$1 with purchase of the main parcel advertised above. Just ask at or after time of purchase. Much Love to all of you! Island Granville http://maps.secondlife.com/secondlife/Readux/85/239/21
  12. Square 4096m situated on a hill overlooking a lake. This spot is pretty, and certainly less crowded than some. Funky multi-plat land installation with 2 caves and a superb staircase will transfer ownership to you (copy/mod). House and castle ruins will stay as long as you want them but not transfer. L$8000 - Thanks for looking http://maps.secondlife.com/secondlife/Loogaroo/14/59/52
  13. This great water parcel has views to open ocean, sunrise water moving towards you, lots of deep water for big boats, and an open public sailing channel that can accommodate any boat you can fit on this 512. To be clear, this is not an oceanfront parcel. It also isn't L$100,000 or even L$10k (less than half that!). But it is open to ocean sailing. The public access is maintained by myself and a neighbour who shares my philosophical belief in a free access SL experience. Neither of us has plans to move from this great location - my end of the sailing channel is primland for one of my home lots, so it stays. With that said, if I do ever sell my own land here it will be offered first to you and 1 other neighbour, at or below L$3/m. Stop by, enjoy the view, rez your boat and try the sailing channel for yourself. Feel free to say hi if I'm there http://maps.secondlife.com/secondlife/Haeoreum/41/126/21
