  1. 512m, 175 LI, View over Biscay Icebergs if you set range far enough, L$499 http://maps.secondlife.com/secondlife/Arcata/36/89/47 784m, 269LI, Visible and accessible from street, L$799 http://maps.secondlife.com/secondlife/Arcata/17/150/57 Thanks for Looking 512m 784m
  2. This parcel is in an amazing setting with unparalleled ocean views. Lots of open space around this perch! square 1024m, 351 LI, Moderate rating. http://maps.secondlife.com/secondlife/Norstrilia/42/17/126 Priced at L$4500 Enjoy looking! Hope you're having a great day in SL
  3. Rare opportunity to own one of a limited number of true LL created mainland islands. This very special island is fully surrounded by protected water, protected sim edge, and your own private water, with protected sailing access to Mare Secundus to the West and Waterhead/Linden Village to the east. Views to the North and East include Help Island, Orientation Island, Pooley, and (if your view distance is far enough) Borrowdale, putting you smack in the middle of the expanding SL universe circa the massive mid 2000’s wonder years. Your neighbour to both South and West has roots extending back to 2007, and neighbourhood stability is a good thing! The Island is expertly landscaped and decorated by a previous owner, and I encourage future owners to preserve the existing eclectic styles, hidden secrets, and overt visual beauty. Look out for a sunken submarine, mini Atlantis, black-hole meditation space, and a drop-chute to your sub-terrain office. For me, though, the biggest win is the ambient audioscape - put on your headphones and spend some quiet time just listening. Your location on the parcel determines the audio mix of peaceful environmental sounds - various meditation spots throughout the island each have their own unique balance of waves, running water, wind, gongs, chimes, harbour sounds, chanting bears, and more! Everything is tasteful, and if you are acoustically motivated, this place is truly a masterpiece! And no shrieking seagulls! If you’re looking for exclusive mainland ownership that impresses everyone who visits, look no further! Also rental ready, if that's your thing. 10672m of SL heaven, with 3663 LI. Offered at L$150,000 http://maps.secondlife.com/secondlife/Maryport/83/205/43 Enjoy your visit, and stay as long as you like. If I’m there, feel free to say hi, or just go about your tour. I won’t interfere unless you make contact first, but I’m very happy to chat if that’s what you want
  4. 2048m sailable parcel. Terraform above or below waterline to suit your preference. Lots of room for big boats, and plenty of abandoned land next door if you want to upsize. Sail anywhere you like from here. Ocean access to Degrand Channel is maintained by a lovely neighbour who provides a public beach and Rez-zone right beside this parcel. For clarity, this is not protected Linden water (good luck finding that in this neighborhood!) The sailing channel is privately owned and generously provided for public use. Priced accordingly at L$8500 Thanks for looking, and have a great day! Love you for being here 😃 http://maps.secondlife.com/secondlife/Exomorogun/174/15/22

  8. Anyone remember this great camping system? As a camper you could increase both the L$ pay amount and the payment frequency IF you were there to pay into the machines anyway. I got lucky enough times with the bonuses and payout prizes to keep me coming back in those early days. I forget what I paid for the 8 seat system when I bought it - it was significant for me at the time - but running the chairs was colossally more lucrative than camping in them, that's for sure.
  9. And re: the clarinet discussion above, Buffet had a "Green line" R13 (R13 is the good kind) in the 90's that was essentially your Swingstars - grenadilla wood chips mashed up with resin and formed into the shape of a clarinet. they were super inexpensive and, imo (& others too), really really nice clarinets! they had resonance, which you don't get from any kind of plastic instrument, but they weren't stupid expensive either.
  10. Older the better for all things musical. Resonance over years aligns molecules and improves tone of those very special vintage instruments. That includes 40yr old drums! Luckily musicians aren't physicists, so...
