  1. It may be temporarily abandoned to allow tier for another deal. Within that week waiting period, the owner can request the abandoned land back again. Assuming the other deal was completed. Or it may be group owned land that has lost tier support from its contributors, living or dead. LL will reclaim this unsupported group land when they get around to it.
  2. Starzz Witherspoon, my first best friend in those early wonder times <Sigh....> I miss her. We danced like it was 2006, because it was. I also miss the rampantly unregulated SL casino trade. Much of my building, LSL and texture learning were focused on creating gambling machines for the endless number of casinos across the grid. Probably good overall that LL eventually complied with the then new US online gambling regs, but it was a hot market while it lasted!
  3. EDIT - this parcel is sold 384m, 131 LI, in a historic sim. If this appeals to you like it does to me, take a look. This parcel is currently terraformed as a small island surrounded by water. But with +/- 40m it can be pretty much anything you want! Borders are not protected, but neither is the price. Surrounding water is traversable and mature - that train bridge hasn't moved in almost 20 years, and the sailing water around it hasn't changed hands since 2010. But If you want guaranteed unblockable protected ocean access, check ALL of my other listings. This spot is a good bet for sailing access going forward though, making it a sensible budget choice for a private dock. L$2500 (L$6.5/m) http://maps.secondlife.com/secondlife/Magenta/219/130/22 I'm glad you're here❤️ Thanks for looking!
  4. Other sellers are promoting instant teleport to desirable locations?? For clarity, TP is only necessary from distant, less desirable locations. But you know this, right? If you actually like to sail from your own dock and return in the same boat, check this location! It's about fantasy realism for me!
  5. Primland, or tiny private beach on tiny ocean! do whatever you want here with 76 prims of land, water, or any combination of the two. Currently sailable as long as I own the adjacent ocean access (also for sale). I can't speak for future owners of the access parcel, but in the last 17.5 years I have found most neighbours to be friendly if I ask for access politely. Asking L$2240 http://maps.secondlife.com/secondlife/Troelstra/108/139/21
  6. 1904m Oceanfront Sailing parcel available on the south coast of Sansara. Sail the grid from here if you want - Check the map, compare local price/m, and decide if it’s right for you. If you like boats, you'll like this spot - lots of immediate ocean sims right off your dock! Some sellers will argue that location doesn’t matter because you can TP anywhere instantly (duh! It’s SL) but some of you will appreciate the magnificent feeling of keeping your boat rezzed so you can board, sail to excellent places, and return to your own dock all in one trip. That’s kind of the point of oceanfront. If you’re someone who gets it, you’ll like the proximity/price ratio of both this parcel and the one next to it. Either parcel will accommodate a TMS Namaste or equivalent full time. Also these parcels are blessed with a clear 2 sim deep protected ocean view, with a void (sim edge) view beyond that. Even if you operate at maximum draw (pic #2), nothing will ever spoil your space! Adjacent parcel is also available if you're looking for something bigger. These are both really excellent spots! Asking L$32,500 http://maps.secondlife.com/secondlife/Hedge/115/20/21 Thanks for looking! love you all
  7. BTW this parcel can be all water if you wish, but it can also be raised to be mostly land. The corner with the boat will still be water at full elevation.
  8. Protected Ocean parcel in the Sleutelvankirk region of Jeogeot - that's the Northwest Bay area of the continent. The parcel has frontage on a multi-sim ocean for your sailing needs. 2048m, moderate rating, and 703 prims of building potential. It's a regular rectangular shape too! Offered at L$25000 (L$12.2/m) Thanks for looking - enjoy your SL! http://maps.secondlife.com/secondlife/Myungsimbogam/140/46/27
  9. 2048m Oceanfront Sailing parcel available on the south coast of Sansara. Sail the grid from here if you like - I won't provoke a response from my competitors by mentioning where you can sail to from here, but check the map, compare local price/m, and decide for yourself. If you like boats, you'll like this spot - lots of immediate ocean sims right off your dock! Also these parcels are blessed with a clear 2 sim deep protected ocean view, with a void (sim edge) view beyond that. Even if you operate at maximum draw (pic #2), nothing will ever spoil your space! Adjacent parcel is also available if you're looking for something bigger. Asking L$35000 http://maps.secondlife.com/secondlife/Hedge/87/12/21 Thanks for looking! Keep making SL great - You're awesome ❤️ The following image shows both available parcels joined, before I split them:
  10. 2 adjoining 1024m waterview lot in Sami (Sansara), L$999 and L$1199 Edit: 1 sold http://maps.secondlife.com/secondlife/Sami/11/56/23
  11. Glad you got it sorted so easily. This problem stumped me when I switched to FS, until I found this:
  12. I will also consider trimming this down to 8192 if that fits your tier level better - just ask!
  13. Didn't my hair go up there once or twice too? I mean, my own butt, not yours...
  14. When Jeogeot was coming online, LL were giving away free 512m plots to new premium members, called it "First Land" - that was all the hook I needed to start paying them. I remember row on row of populated 512s, everyone smooshed into their little rectangles thinking it was the greatest thing ever. My terrible little first land was in Pyong Ya. But soon after that I found a gorgeous corner of Yabune on Mare Secundus. For this thread, That is what really made me want to own land in SL. The need to own it was visceral - I knew it was home the moment I landed. Selling that spot was one of those very great mistakes I should never have made.
  15. Goodness 🙃 Price is normal (or slightly favourable) for that area. There's not very much immediate Blake area waterfront available, and it ranges much higher in price than this parcel's L$19/m. The cheapest Blake parcel I can find is L$37/m, but that'll cost you L$1.5mil and is bigger than most folks want. A couple of comparable properties to this one: http://maps.secondlife.com/secondlife/Sialimonus/45/51/21 at L$58/m (3072m, L$179k) http://maps.secondlife.com/secondlife/Lost Grounds/48/28/20 at L$48/m (4608m, L$225k) The opposite extreme, and maybe more worthy of a "Blake Sea Prices" invocation, would be http://maps.secondlife.com/secondlife/Gladzyck/72/32/6 at L$174.9/m (1024m, 179k) If you like these locations at these prices, they are there for anyone to purchase if they wish.
