Hello, beautiful people! I'm a major marketpalce shopper (lazy I know) and I've been annoyed that I haven't been able to find anything nice for a sci-fi role play look around marketplace other than accessories. Most of the outfits I came across are latex with some neon slapped on it. I want to avoid the fetish and the obvious but at the same time I'm not afraid of clichés. I just don't want to be a walking fetish when I play. Does anyone know in world only stores that sell nice quality fitted mesh? I have both Maitreya and Belleza Freya bodies, I'd rather the products fit Freya, but it's okay if the store is Maitreya only. Some looks to help:

I've seen someone wearing one, I even had a screeshot of that, no idea where they got though. But it means that there IS one somewhere. Maybe you can find it with other names other than his, like orange cheeto or something.

He-eey I decided to get my premium membership again after YEARS of being a mere mortal, but I'm not savvy on those matters as I wanted to be so can anyone explain to me how the premium land thing works and how can I claim it, etc? I take it that now we have 2048 of land right?

That would just make listing process extremely long and LL would have to hire more professionals what would increase the costs for the company and subsequently the fess we all pay in SL.

Sadly there is a solid system the copy botters use to share the stolen mesh products on MP. They make an alt and just publish everything and leave it there for one hour, then they take it down and go on another alt doing it again. It's probably automated on their side, I doubt they'd be so patient to do that all the time, but it's how it works and LL would need extra effort to go to the source of these stores. The best thing to do is report and let the original creator now.

The list is worth looking at for anyone wanting a start because so far no one did a better one to compare all the heads, including new ones. Better than get half information about people defending their preferred heads on the forums.

I like playing dolls with my avatar. I often get that nostalgic feeling about SL too even though I'm not sure about what's the reason for my nostalgia.

I'm a graphic/web designer and community manager for gaming communities. Also a translator whenever I find an opportunity.

Whenever I see that kind of topic about things not being nice anymore or having nothing to do I get annoyed. There IS a huge load of hot steamy activities in SL, but people rather wait for someone to drag them over all of them and entertain them rather than go after said activities themselves. I'm more of a loner kind of person and whenever I get a contact in my list that wants my full attention and they keep nagging me about being bored and wanting to do something my finger twitches desperately to click the "Remove friend" button. In my modest opinion people have generally become lazy. Not only in SL, but it reflects in there too.

People are less AFK than you think they are, most of them just like to stand and look pretty and fish for compliments. I for one like to park at places and meet people but I'm the shy type so I'll hardly start a conversation. So if you ever see an avatar and you think "hey this person might be cool" check their profile firstl, I'm an avid profile reader and I can tell it usually helps a lot to find common interests. As for shops, there are still PLENTY of shops, but for some weird reason some of them have names with few letters in it so the in world search won't like you typing it, which can make it harder to find. I'm a marketplace shopper myself, but I know that there are a few good stores that didn't transition to the website, or if they did they only added a few products and nothing else. Male fashion in SL is REALLY annoying compared to female, that's the reason why I never got to do a male alt myself, I'd be frustrated and probably find it too hard to achieve the look I like. BUT there are a few saviors that can contribute to your search like @Skell Dagger and @Orwar, they both dress really well and will probably be able to direct you to good stores for male stuff.

I REALLY liked the shiny teeth, they made it all scarier/creepier like you're hiding something. Are you? =X

I tried Sinespace, it's not really intuitive from my beginner point of view, I grew up playing games and I usually catch up to interfaces quickly but Sinespace is a big mess of "what?". Also the housing system was not exactly like what I dreamed about and avatar customization way too limited.

For those Firestorm users, the best thing is is activate the Advanced menu and use the Refresh Attachments. I honestly don't know if this is a feature to other viewers as well, but since I discovered it I never had to log anymore because my hud was not working.

Funny thing, today I dreamed about a virtual world that was a mix of the sims and second life. You had the building mechanics of the sims, but you could customize textures and even upload new meshes like SL, you purchased your land and you could build on it, no prim limitation and the tools were easy and intuitive to use. You could even have a "town view" with a free camera if you were the owner and didn't want to use an avatar to walk around the place. I woke up sad it wasn't a real game.

If you have to hide someone is really not committed to the relationship.

I find it funny, it's not even fall for me but I like decorating and the whole tradition. It's also not a thing in my country, but I still find celebrations entertaining, it's a great way to get out of routine and do something just to have a good time.
